My goal is to give you a wedding album that not only has great photos, but captures your emotions and feelings through the day. I want you to be able to go through your photos and remember how you felt for each one.

I prefer to operate behind the scenes. I photograph on longer lenses typically to stay out of the way. This way I do not block anyone's view and am not "in the way" during the ceremony. It also allows for more natural photos when taking candids of you and your guests.

The quality of his work was simply stunning - he captured the day in a way that was both sophisticated and effortlessly natural. Justin genuinely made us laugh throughout the process, helped us take the most beautiful, natural-looking photos, and multiple guests commented on how great he was to work with and simply have around. He was always right where he needed to be without ever intruding on the moment, with a great sense of humor and a relaxed but attentive approach that was perfect for what we wanted.     From the moment we first reached out to Old North State Photography, their communication was clear and quick. Justin was easy to work with, engaging us throughout the photoshoot and capturing us candidly for our engagement pictures! He guided us on the best time of day for lighting to bring out the most beautiful pictures, and the edits were brilliant, making our pictures pop with the stunning backdrop of the North Carolina Museum of Art.     Justin was extremely easy to work with! I can agree with others that have said he is one of your stress-free vendors. When I received my wedding photos back it felt like I was reliving my wedding day, he captured so many moments that I will be forever grateful to have on camera. There are so many photos that I adore from our big day, it’s impossible to pick a favorite. The process from booking, to our engagement shoot, and the big day was seamless. I would highly recommend Old North State Photography!!!!
