The Colonial Hotel was a perfect venue for our wedding Reception. From the moment we reached out, the team there was quick to respond and provided us with detailed information to help us plan our special event. Mary and all the staff we dealt with were very helpful in making our day truly special. The beautiful ballroom with the wood floors made for a night of fun dancing; the ballroom windows, outside stonework of the building and the gazebo made for some stunning photos. We received great comments from our guests on the appetizers and meal. It was a beautiful setting for our wedding celebration and we were very glad to find it.

Regina and crew were great on day of setup and flexible to what my husband and I wished for! Photo opportunities around the space are endless. Possible one stop shop for wedding dress as well! Spaces to get ready in were lovely. Recommend to those looking to have a wedding in the valley!

This venue is STUNNING! We wanted a place that was beautiful enough on its own that we could save money on decor, and THIS WAS IT! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful. And we loved that we had access to the patio and outdoor fireplace all night, many great spots for our guests to mingle during the reception while they watched the sunset. Our day-of coordinator was super helpful and professional, but we didn’t get to meet him until the day before the wedding. Up until that point we worked exclusively with the “Event Coordinator” sales associate, who was nice enough but not very communicative. I often had to follow up multiple times to get my questions answered, she rarely reached out first with information, or she’d think she sent me things she hadn’t yet. I know a “coordinator” is not the same as a “planner,” but my other vendors were surprised she wasn’t more hands on. The venue is totally worth it, but the person that gives you the tour will likely be the same person you work with throughout the planning process, so make sure you like their vibe!

Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. I could not say enough good things about this venue. We're SO glad we decided to get married at The Boylston Rooms! The pictures show for themselves how beautiful the venue (and surrounding areas for photography) are, but the staff are what make this place extra special. From start to finish, everyone we worked with was nothing but professional. They were clear and timely communicators, helped troubleshoot things during the planning process, and came with loads of wedding wisdom that helped set us up for success on the big day. When the big day came, I also appreciated how often their staff checked in - even to make sure I was eating (it's the small things!) - and were ready to jump into support anywhere. A special shout out to Myles, who played a supporting role during our wedding portraits, helping me to keep my very long veil under control! A few other things I'll mention: - Their storage room filled with decor you can borrow is SO helpful. Less that you need to buy (and potentially waste post-wedding) and can even make decision-making easier when there are 1,000 versions of the same item online. - Their wedding suites are great to have available too. Obviously for getting ready, but it's also a nice reprieve if you need a quiet moment during the reception. - The Boylston Rooms only works with one caterer, Myer's Catering. Our guests are STILL raving about the food. (There's more flexibility with other vendors). - The Boylston Rooms also owns/is affiliated with The Wedding Day Trolley, which we used to transport our guests to/from the hotel. My partner and I also took some super fun photos inside of the trolley!

We booked Hyland Orchard for our 9.27.24 wedding and it was simply the best decision we made! This venue is absolutely stunning and amazing to work with! If you’re looking to book here and have the option to hire Doe, DO IT! She was my go to person with wedding planning and made the process way easier! We also hired her for her beautiful rental decor & florals! She absolutely killed it and it could not have turned out better. Everyone loved the florals & decor! My bouquet & the bridesmaids were breathtaking and she nailed all my inspo I sent her! She did our arbor also and it was stunning!! She’s truly an amazing person and really cares about all of your wants and needs! & bonus because she makes it happen!! Overall If I could have done anything different I wouldn’t have! She made sure everything went smoothly and we had the best day getting married on the hilltop overlooking the orchard!! 10000/000 recommend having your wedding at Hyland Orchard and hiring Doe! It’s the perfect rustic orchard wedding!! Thank you Doe for everything you did for Bryce and I- we appreciate it more than you know!!

We cannot recommend Union Station enough! Neil and his staff were wonderful to work with, professional and attentive to all the details. They made the planning process fun and easy, and our wedding day was beautiful, and everyone raves about the food! We loved using the tunnel bar for photos and having the groomsmen hang out there before the ceremony.

I used this venue for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. It was such a cute spot and perfectly captured what we wanted. The owners were fantastic and so helpful. Both Treehouse and nearby Lake Houses were amazing rentals for our guests! The rustic barn hall was amazing for our ceremony! The grounds were green and full of love! The animals were a great backdrop. 10/10 !!! Wouldn't change a thing if I were to do it again. They made the wedding of our dreams a reality.

My husband and I got married at the Northampton Country Club in the fall of 2023. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. The bar staff was very accommodating and made the night fun for our guests!

We were so pleased with our amazing experience at Fern Hill Barn!! Every member of the team was consistently working throughout the day to make things run smoothly and help take any pressure or stress off us as the bride and groom. We experienced a very aggressive pop up thunderstorm right as our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place, and I have never seen a team take action like they did. Carly kept me posted on the forecast and when we were forced to move inside, the team was at attention, putting up the sides of the tent, moving florals, and keeping everything pristine for the tent ceremony. Joanne, our banquet captain, helped me with any and everything that day - from adjusting my veil and dress, to calming my nerves about the storm, and even making sure we had our first congratulatory drinks once we were married. If you’re looking for a low-stress wedding venue that offers incredible value, look no further. We held our wedding at The Mansion at Bald Hill on September 28, 2025, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We started touring venues in mid March, hoping to find a place that could host a small-ish wedding with an outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, and full food and drink service without sky high prices or hidden fees. I even built a spreadsheet comparing every option within a 50-mile radius, and The Mansion at Bald Hill definitely stood out. Many venues had undisclosed minimums, surprise costs, or odd restrictions, but the Mansion had none of that. The Mansion was transparent, elegant, and far more accommodating than we expected. We toured three venues total, saving the Mansion for last—honestly thinking it might be out of our price range or require too many guests. But as soon as we drove up the winding road and saw the gorgeous grounds, we started crossing our fingers. After our tour with Janet, the events director, and her clear breakdown of the options and pricing, we got in the car, looked at each other, and said, “Yep, this is the it!” No discussion needed. In the months leading up to the wedding, Janet was absolute wonderful to work with—responsive, organized, and genuinely kind. She answered every question promptly, accommodated all of our requests, and went above and beyond to make our day seamless. On the wedding day itself, she and the entire staff exceeded every expectation. The food was phenomenal, the bar and banquet teams were attentive and friendly, and every detail—from setup to timing—was handled perfectly. Choosing The Mansion at Bald Hill was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that’s stunning, stress free, and run by people who truly care about making your day special.

My wife & I had the privilege to get married surrounded by our friends & family at the beautiful Montague Retreat Center in June of 2024. There’s a seemingly endless list of what drew us to MRC, but some key features to highlight: - Incredibly beautiful indoor & outdoor spaces - Comfortable, spacious, and accessible on-site lodging options - Flexible weekend buyout, enabling us to bring all of our ideas to life without much restriction or hurdles - Wheelhouse Catering: some of the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted in our lives - All of Montague staff, especially Jason Jason deserves his own dedicated review, but from the planning stages all the way through until the end of our weekend, Jason made himself available and ready to help. Jason referred several our vendors that made our day go off without a hitch, all of whom brought creative and personal touches that made our day so special. He consistently went above and beyond day of as well, from catching decorations that needed to be put out, to being hands-on assisting guests that needed extra help, and facilitating vendors to ensure everything was in its right place. His knowledge and general presence brought a calming energy that really helped us feel at home at MRC. For our wedding weekend (170 guests), we really took advantage of all we could at MRC. We observed first hand and heard from guests after our wedding that they felt they had plenty of space to enjoy themselves comfortably through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. With the full weekend rented, we used every square inch that the venue offered: - Friday: Portable Brick Oven Pizza in front of the Great Hall - Saturday AM: family provided breakfast buffet near the dining tent - Ceremony: Outdoor up on the ceremony ring - Cocktail Hour: Custom Poetry and plenty of activities all around the barn - Reception: Live band with stage lighting & sound; DJ later in the evening - Saturday Night: Late night fire pit & snacks for the wedding party - Sunday AM: Bagel sandwiches from Tandem Bagel in the lower level of the barn We can’t stress enough how perfect our weekend was at MRC. Montague Retreat Center will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it left a lasting impact on not only us, but our friends and family as well. At the end of our wedding weekend, many of our family members suggested that we rent out the space for a night every few years for a recurring big family bash. We may have to do just that!

I had my wedding here last week. Holy crap, they knocked it out of the park. Several people said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. They said the food was so good they’d come back if it were a restaurant. The cake was also outstanding and so delicious (shout out to Paula!). More than all of that, Jonna the bridal attendant took care of me and my husband so well that we hardly had to worry about anything. We got to eat everything because she set it aside for us and we set aside time for a calm moment. She made sure we got to take the cake home. She was an excellent communicator, made sure everyone was where they needed to be and she was somehow always there when we needed her. It was like she was everywhere all at once! I thought I was going to need to corral people to help me take stuff home that night. Nope! She knew who my immediate family was and had them grab a few things. She made it all low stress. Linda was amazing in the planning process. She was communicative and diligent on following up on our loose ends. I always felt like she was there if I needed her. Chris was our salesperson and did a wonderful job. He went above and beyond and met us right before (or after) closing because it was the only time that worked for us. Janice made us feel so special and throughout the day advocated for me. When the rain stopped and i wanted pictures outside, Ted went and got a leaf blower to blow away the rain so that my dress didn’t get wet. I do not say this lightly that they will forever be like family to me. They made the best day of our lives extra special. Our guests are still saying to us they can’t stop thinking about our wedding, that it was magical and the best wedding they’ve ever have ever gone to and I owe that all to Lord Thompson Manor.
