About this venue

Hyland Orchard is a magical spot to say 'I Do'! The experience begins with a wagon ride whisking your guests to the perfect spot atop the Orchard of over a thousand apple trees, with views of three neighboring towns. After the Ceremony, is the Pavilion Reception. The Pavilion has sliding walls- which means your 'outdoor' wedding is rainproof! The Pavilion has lights strung throughout to create an unmatched rustic ambiance. Our one-of-a-kind property shines with features including a raw edge custom wood bar, large stone fire pit, sprawling lawn, a barnyard crew (lovable mini horses, goats and a llama), a greenhouse with adjacent floral gardens and acres upon acres for amazing photo opportunities! May- October available (mid September through October ONLY Friday weddings) Fri/Sun: $3,000; Sat $4,000.

Ceremony on the Hill

Our Ceremony area is perched 350 yards atop the Orchard and overlooks the beautiful hilltops of the area. It is serene, breathtaking and unique. The Custom arbor frames the picturesque orchard backdrop. Our vintage John Deere tractor wagon transports guests to the Ceremony on the Hill (seats 16 guests per trip) and loops through the Orchard to immerse guests in the orchard experience.

Pavilion Reception

The Pavilion is cement floored with a covered roof. The Pavilion features gorgeous windowed sliding wooden walls that enclose the area in the case of inclement weather. The bar boasts custom beam light fixtures which it a rustic, yet polished feel. The Pavilion features a platform stage for musical acts and DJ’s (no PA is included).

The 6 hour Hyland Wedding pricing includes: usage of the Ceremony on the Hill (rainy day Ceremonies take place under the Pavilion) & Pavilion Reception, wagon rides to Ceremony - Bonfire (The famous Hyland firepit is lit post-dinner), seating for up to 150 guests (19) 60′ round tables and 150 resin chairs, and table & chair setup by 10am same-day and table & chair breakdown at the end.

    Perfect Venue for us

    Hyland was the only venue we looked at for our wedding, and we booked it the next day. We got married in June and had the absolute perfect weather, so we were thrilled our ceremony and reception could all take place outside/in the pavilion. We really were so happy with everything about the day; we wouldn't change a thing. I would highly recommend hiring Design by Doe for the entirety of the wedding. Doe was incredibly easy to work with. We had some unique requests and she helped us figure out the logistics to make them work. She also had a lot of helpful tips based on prior Hyland weddings. There were so many things we hadn't thought of that she was able to help us with, and if we hadn't hired her, it would have been a stressful week leading up to it. We literally felt no stress, just love and excitement! Our guests loved the wagon ride (don't forget to take care of your driver!!), bonfire, and the barn animals, and our pictures are stunning. I would get married here again and again if I could! It was the best day of our lives, and Hyland had so much to do with making it so. And the best part is, it is open to the public in the fall, so we can go back and visit.

    Unbeatable!

    Hyland Orchard was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the beginning, Doe was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and thorough in her communication. On the day of the wedding she was an anchor and bent over backwards to make sure our day was perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - with a lovely rustic and natural feel that required minimal additional decor. While the venue lacks on-site plumbing and electricity, working with their preferred caterer, Red Roof Catering, made everything run smoothly since they are familiar with the site. The wide open, spacious layout provided ample room for our guests to mingle and celebrate, and we received so many compliments on how gorgeous the setting was. The only downside was that they do not serve hard liquor and have a very limited bar menu, but overall Hyland Orchard exceeded our expectations and helped make our wedding day truly special.

    First my wedding venue, now my workplace 3

    I had my wedding there in 2008, so it's been a while! But I return regularly as I am now a full-time wedding photographer and it's truly one of the best places to work. I wanted my wedding to feel comfortable and fun, with plenty to do for all generations, and to incorporate the beauty of nature. That is certainly what I got with Hyland Orchard and more. Gorgeous hilltop for the ceremony, the tractor ride was a delightful surprise for my guests, great open layout for the reception with lawn games and a bonfire etc facing out onto the orchard, and pavilion walls that can stay open on a nice day or closed to keep the warm in. Beautiful scenery and great staff- Doe is always on point. The magic of this place will forever hold a piece of my heart.

    We booked Hyland Orchard for our 9.27.24 wedding and it was simply the best decision we made! This venue is absolutely stunning and amazing to work with! If you’re looking to book here and have the option to hire Doe, DO IT! She was my go to person with wedding planning and made the process way easier! We also hired her for her beautiful rental decor & florals! She absolutely killed it and it could not have turned out better. Everyone loved the florals & decor! My bouquet & the bridesmaids were breathtaking and she nailed all my inspo I sent her! She did our arbor also and it was stunning!! She’s truly an amazing person and really cares about all of your wants and needs! & bonus because she makes it happen!! Overall If I could have done anything different I wouldn’t have! She made sure everything went smoothly and we had the best day getting married on the hilltop overlooking the orchard!! 10000/000 recommend having your wedding at Hyland Orchard and hiring Doe! It’s the perfect rustic orchard wedding!! Thank you Doe for everything you did for Bryce and I- we appreciate it more than you know!!

    Was great to work with

    I highly recommend this venue, they were so amazing to work with. Not only is it a gorgeous venue but it also has a backup plan if the weather isn’t on your side, which it wasn’t for my wedding, but the day was still so beautiful and amazing thanks to this wonderful venue!

Tables and chairs are setup by Hyland crew by 10am day-of. Chairs will not be set out until you are done decorating, so don’t panic if you arrive and there are no chairs out. It just makes it easier for you guys to setup/access the tables. The Pavilion is not accessible until 10am.
Yes. Please note that we don’t allow any nails or staples on the arbor (you may wrap around or use twine/wire). Just remember that whatever you decorate at the Ceremony, you must take it down at the end of the night.
Yes. But, they must be inside of a votive or some other container. No real-flame candles on the gift table (cards and tissue paper set fire easily/quickly).
We require couples to submit their table count and guest count NO LATER THAN 14 days before the wedding. If the Couple doesn’t submit a chair count per table, we will set tables with 8 chairs. The floorplans will be defaulted to the floor plans on this website.
We do not allow petals at the Hilltop. You may use non-toxic bubbles at the Hilltop- but bubbes are prohibited at the Pavilion and will be taken if they are seen being used at the Reception areas (Pavilion and tent). Alternatively, Design by Doe offers a Lavender Toss add-on. Couples may also provide their own lavender to toss.
You may have a few cars drive uphill and park behind the Rockhouse. Be sure to alert the tractor driver, as they drive the same path as the cars.
Hyland will clean up bar-related litter and break down chairs and tables. Couples are responsible for stripping linens and removing decor. Caterers should be contracted to clean food-related trash.
Design by Doe is our sister company and offers Day-of Coordinator packages and more simple setup/cleanup offerings. DbD also offers floral services and a decor rental website. Design by Doe at Hyland makes the wedding experience a full-service wedding experience. Packages start at $600.
No. Hyland Orchard has a license to sell beer and wine products. We do not allow outside beverages of any kind. We also sell water, seltzers and soda products. We provide the bar staff.
