“If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! Our son and daughter-in-law couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue to begin their lives together. From our very first meeting with Lauren and James to the last dance of the evening, everything was simply perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire day feel effortless. Every member of the staff went above and beyond, allowing our family to relax and truly enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about the wedding—especially the food! We've heard countless compliments, including, "That was the best steak I've ever had at a wedding!" The food and service were exceptional. “Our wedding weekend at Black Walnut Farm was nothing short of extraordinary. I had always dreamed of more than just a single day or a few hours of celebration. I imagined a full weekend surrounded by our favorite people, celebrating a love I had hoped for my entire life. Black Walnut Farm made that dream a reality in the most magical way. My fiancé and I got engaged in June 2024 and waited until August to begin planning so we could savor being engaged. Black Walnut Farm was our first venue visit. During their open house, we explored the property while enjoying signature cocktails and bites, and we immediately felt at home meeting Jim. His warmth, charisma, and genuine spirit set the tone for everything that followed. The estate is breathtaking. Acres of beauty, an enchanting forest, whimsical gardens, and a farmhouse filled with stunning, eclectic antiques. Within minutes, we knew our search was over. As we left, Jim smiled, saying he could tell we had found “the one.” The planning process was seamless and stress-free. As someone who goes with the flow, I was amazed by how organized and supportive the team was. Timelines, documents, and communication were clear and thoughtful. Sarah, co-owner and Jim’s partner, made the experience effortless. While the venue is largely a la carte, Sarah provides a curated list of trusted vendors so you never feel lost. Together, Sarah and Jim are an unmatched team. We chose the weekend package, allowing us and six guests to stay in the farmhouse from Thursday through Monday. Walking in felt like stepping into a dream. We were greeted with a handwritten card, a charcuterie board, and champagne. Fresh banana bread, muffins, and cookies were displayed, the refrigerator stocked with snacks, drinks, and s’mores essentials, and a bar cart held homemade old fashioneds. Every room included robes and fresh water by the bedside, and fireplaces were ready with stacked firewood. Our honeymoon suite was spacious and cozy, with its own fireplace, sitting area, and clawfoot tub. Black Walnut Farm even created a custom flag with our names and named a tree in our honor, a meaningful and unforgettable touch. On Friday evening, we hosted our rehearsal dinner for fifty-five guests in the barn, which perfectly blends rustic elegance with antique details and warmth. The staff’s pride and attention to detail were evident, and Jim, Sarah, or Lindsey were always nearby to ensure everything ran smoothly. After dinner, my bridesmaids and I returned to the farmhouse for a cozy night by the fire watching Father of the Bride. Our wedding day was pure magic. We got ready together in a sun-filled room, sharing laughter and happy tears. We exchanged vows in the forest, a fairytale setting. The celebration continued in the barn with cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and dessert. Guests loved the barn loft, complete with a photo booth and a phone for leaving messages. Although the weather prevented our planned bonfire hour, Sarah and Jim graciously extended our time in the barn, ensuring the night remained just as special. This weekend was the best experience of our lives. Our friends and family still talk about how incredible it was. We are endlessly grateful to Sarah, Jim, Miss Lily, and the entire Black Walnut Farm team for creating a wedding weekend we will cherish forever.”

“The Villa Roma truly offers a fully customizable bridal package. We were allowed to bring our own decor as well as borrow some too. You have several choices on ceremony locations. The Villas are a bit outdated and we had some plumbing issues, however maintenance was quick to respond. The reception hall is very nice and large, you can fit 100 people no problem. Again, fully customizing settings, decor and table placements. Cheryl is the events coordinator for the entire resort. Since she is in charge of all the events, she definitely has a full plate. If you are looking for a day of coordinator that can walk you through each second of the day, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hire outside the Villa. If you are a type A planner, it would be my recommendation that you frequently email and coordinator with the team at the Villa. Cheryl was very accommodating and even moved our ceremony location an hour before starting, due to concerns with the weather. Alicia, who is the head bartender, stepped in and helped decorate, helped direct staff during the wedding day and she made the best signature drinks ever! She even popped in at our after party for more congrats! If you’re organized and know what you want, the possibilities are endless here. The views are beautiful, the food fantastic and the wait staff very helpful. I would recommend this venue.”

The outside grounds included small bodies of water, one with a bridge to a small island. The island had a gazebo and sacred site where we sat and meditated together. “My wife and I held our wedding weekend at The North Branch Inn this October and could not have had a better experience - we can't recommend The North Branch Inn enough! The grounds are stunning - with beautiful 7 acres to spread out in for different events including a tucked away creekside ceremony space, lovely gardens for the cocktail hour, and a huge space for a tented outdoor wedding, firepits, and more. The historic buildings are equally lovely. We loved having our family and close friends on site where we could all be together. The accommodations are excellent - the room we stayed in was huge and even came with an attached covered porch that we could use for our wedding storage (which was so great to have), and we loved soaking in the clawfoot tub the day after our wedding. The lounges in each building also are great - with lots of different spaces to congregate. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and was one of the top reasons we chose our venue. We knew Chef Jake would create a beautiful special menu for our wedding and for all of the other weekend events, and he did not disappoint. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the guests that stayed on site all also raved about the delicious breakfasts each morning. Most importantly, choosing to work with Caroline and Jake, who own the inn, we think was the best choice we made for our wedding. Caroline is so communicative, answered every email we sent quickly, and just went above and beyond on the details to make sure our event was seamless. All of the staff did a phenomenal job and you can really feel the love in this very special place. We'd give them 500 stars if Zola would let us.”

“The Outlier Inn is truly one-of-a-kind, offering so much more than your typical wedding venue. From the start, we knew it was something special. One of our favorite aspects was being able to bring all of our loved ones together in one place for the entire weekend, creating a unique experience where our family and friends were “trapped” in the best way—celebrating and bonding without distractions. If you’re someone who loves to party under the stars, and you enjoy envisioning and creating fun, personalized spaces, this is the venue for you. The property itself is a hidden gem, full of surprises at every turn. There’s so much to explore, from the charming tiny houses scattered throughout, to the inviting homemade hot tub and peaceful sauna, to the quirky hidden thrift shop/barn. We held our ceremony in the newly added amphitheater nestled in the woods—an intimate space surrounded by towering trees, creating a perfect natural backdrop for our vows. We were lucky with beautiful September weather, and the sound of our friends laughing and exploring the grounds will forever be a cherished memory. Josh, the owner of The Outlier, truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, we knew this was “our” place. He is warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our first tour of the property, Josh even let us bottle-feed his adorable baby goat, “Frip”—a moment that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Leading up to the wedding, Josh was always available to offer guidance and advice, and throughout the weekend, his calm presence was a steady source of reassurance. Whether he was setting up bonfires, handling speakers and microphones, or just checking in on us, Josh ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in every moment of our celebration. The only downside to having our wedding at The Outlier Inn is that we almost want to keep it a secret—it’s so magical, we’d love to keep it all to ourselves! But in all honesty, The Outlier Inn is an extraordinary venue, and we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you, Josh, for making our weekend so unforgettable!”

“My husband and I had our wedding here this June and the team at The Arnold House was so amazing to work with throughout the process. I truly do not think we would have had as great of a weekend if we had done it anywhere else. Everything felt very personally cared for, they approach everything with a 'yes' attitude (and offered comparable alternatives if option A was truly not possible), and in general they were so hospitable and communicative that we never felt nervous about their ability to execute the wedding weekend. By the time we were heading into our wedding weekend we felt nothing but excitement to experience and see everything we and the AH team had planned and to share it all with our friends and families. As a venue itself there are a myriad of options to choose from for hosting all the different parts of a full wedding weekend, and we never needed to repeat using a location over the course of the 7 different scheduled events (rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, farewell brunch). It was great being able to host the majority of our guests on-site as well, and minimized the amount of coordination we needed to plan in advance for off-site guests, like hotel blocks and transportation.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Tyler Hill Camp as the venue for one of our weddings, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Will, Mike, Sarah, and the entire staff were professional, personable, and a genuine pleasure to collaborate with throughout a logistically complex event. Their hands-on support behind the scenes made all the difference in helping everything come together smoothly for the couple. As a wedding coordinator, I can say without hesitation that Tyler Hill Camp is a venue whose team truly shows up for their couples — we'd be thrilled to work here again.”

“TLW was the absolute best venue for our wedding. They let us bring a bouncy house obstacle course onto the property, and even had a vendor recommendation. Throughout our literal hundreds of emails back-and-forth, they were professional, friendly, and prompt in their reply. Our guests had so much fun, and TLW did a fantastic job accommodating our guests' various dietary restrictions. TLW also did a great job communicating with our other vendors. It was a dream to work with TLW - the food was delicious, all of their staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself cannot be beat. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time enjoying the goats on site, the swimming pool, and the go-karts! The go-karts are an absolute must-have add-on to any wedding, it is all anyone could talk about afterwards. It was so much fun! I also caught my first fish during my wedding weekend, and had an absolute blast! Thank you so much Justin for being such a great communicator and venue partner!”

“My husband and I hosted our Friday night welcome party at The Mod House during our wedding weekend last summer, and it was one of the most memorable parts of the entire celebration. We were looking for something different from a traditional welcome party—a place with great music, delicious food, plenty of room to mingle, and an atmosphere that encouraged people to relax, dance, and have fun. We envisioned a groovy 1970s-style house party, and The Mod House was absolutely perfect. The mid-century modern home is incredibly unique, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, multiple bars, and an amazing speakeasy-style basement that created the perfect setting for the evening. Nick was fantastic to work with from start to finish. As someone who curates private music events throughout the year, he had excellent recommendations for bands and DJs and helped us create exactly the vibe we were hoping for. Based on his suggestions, we hired a DJ to play outside while guests enjoyed cocktails at his newly built outdoor bar and pizza from a food truck. Later in the evening, everyone moved downstairs to the speakeasy, where a local funk band performed and had the entire room dancing. Nick also helped us curate our drink menu and coordinated bartenders, making the planning process seamless. Every detail came together beautifully, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. Many told us it was one of the best welcome parties they had ever attended and such a refreshing alternative to the typical wedding weekend event. If you're looking for a venue with incredible character, great energy, and an unforgettable atmosphere, The Mod House is truly special. We couldn't have imagined a better place to kick off our wedding weekend.”

“Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!”

“Grateful doesn’t even BEGIN to describe how we feel to everyone at Wildflower on Watts for helping to cultivate the best wedding weekend we could have ever imagined!!!! When we first toured Wildflower on Watts, it instantly felt different than the rest - not just beautiful, but peaceful. Like it could be our own little oasis to celebrate the beginning of our marriage. (And it was just that!!) As a full-time wedding photographer myself, I was very picky about where we chose to host our wedding. From our first interaction with Bethany & her team to our last hugs goodbye, we felt so taken care of and like they truly wanted the best for our wedding day experience. We were not “just another couple”, we were valued like family!! We held our rehearsal dinner outside at Wildflower on Watts the night before our wedding which was literally straight out of my dreams! It was so beautiful!!! And the team was there for us - it was very close to raining so they set up a full backup table inside the barn just in case. We didn’t end up needing to use the back up, but their thoughtfulness and effort was so appreciated! Our wedding day could not have been more perfect. Seriously. We were able to fully trust the Wildflower on Watts team (and We Do Events coordination!!) to run the day smoothly, which allowed us to be completely present in every moment!! At one point in the morning, Bethany left to heat up my coffee and put it in a fresh container. That small thing is just one example of the incredible service & kindness!! And during our ceremony, we could hear the birds singing in the woods behind us … truly the most peaceful and beautiful way to say “I do”!! And! Our guests were “wowed” at every turn!! The guest experience of going from the secluded ceremony space to the beautiful outdoor cocktail hour space to the stunning barn was that extra cherry on top of beauty for our guests who traveled to celebrate us. Everybody kept saying that the venue & the staff were incredible!!! Last but certainly not least, the ease of using Wildflower on Watt’s space is not something to gloss over. The ability to drop things off & set up on Friday, and then come back on Sunday and have all your decor packed up for you & ready to go … that doesn’t happen at most venues!! That is just one of the many ways Wildflower on Watts takes away any potential stress associated with hosting a wedding. We will be shouting their praise from the rooftops forever!!! Thank you, Wildflower on Watts, for being the BEST place to celebrate our wedding!!!!!!”

The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. We're already dreaming of the countless memories we'll create here in the years to come!”
