I first started working for an Architectural Photography studio in 2001, after graduating from Photography School in Paris. Architecture photography is all about composition. I would go around the city photographing buildings and structures with those big cameras that you see in old movies. Although I gained lots of experience in photography technique and image processing in the dark room, I always felt I was missing something. In 2004, I started working for a Wedding Photography studio and photographed my first wedding. My hubby Guy and I were both born and raised in Southern Ca. but met in Utah at a Sundance work Christmas party and even though it wasn't love at first sight, it was pretty darn close🖤 We have 3 beautiful kids and a handsome son in-law! Something unexpected about me (for most people:) is that I'm a new "chicken mom" my kids think I've lost it, but really they have just been replaced is all haha-I'm kind of obsessed with them! Haha:) 

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

I started my photography journey taking photos of my wife. Watching her come to life with confidence was the greatest feeling in the world. And when she used that confidence to overcome her negative self-image, I knew I was onto something. I initially set out to ensure everyone I worked with knew what this felt like. After shooting with models and brands for a few years, I was asked to photograph my first wedding and the experience was unreal.
