And let me tell you I spent the most time at Brandy’s booth than any other vendor. She has a wonderful personality, makes you feel beyond comfortable, she replies almost instantly when I message her. And the shoot - WOW stunning! I cannot wait to see the wedding photos with how amazing our engagement photos came out. She is very upfront with her pricing and doesn’t try to push more than what is needed. I’m having a smaller wedding and rather than trying to book have me book her for more hours she said which package she was confident she’d get all the shots without starting to repeat shots. My engagement shoot was absolutely wonderful and the time flew by with Brandy’s guidance my finance and myself didn’t even notice how much time had passed. Nothing looked staged - when we looked through our gallery we felt like supermodels!! Which is saying a lot for us!! Brandy suggested the locations we could do shoots at which is wonderful if you’re like me and really just can’t decide or have a clue of what would look good, she picked a perfect spot that was so us - our dogs even got to participate in the shoot and she was patient, even when our one lab only wanted to swim Brandy got their attention with her own sound effects and we got several shots with the silly pup pups! I can honestly say Brandy is not just a photographer to us, she is an extension of our growing family! Why not have her document the beginning of our marriage and the rest of our lives is what my fiancé and I found ourselves talking about. “TLDR: I could not have picked a better photographer and I truly believe that Annie would be perfect for absolutely anyone. Her energy is infectious in a way that really brings up your excitement levels but also keeps your anxiety down. My husband is very introverted and was really worried about photos, but she kept him comfortable and in his element in a way I truly don’t believe anyone else would have. As for myself, I felt beautiful and gorgeous the entire time because of her and her partner. For the work she did and the amount of effort she puts into our photos, I believe her prices are incredibly fair. If anything, she’s undercutting herself. I will absolutely be recommending Annie to anyone and everyone. Now for the longer part of the review! We got married on May 30th, 2024 and we were doing our wedding a little differently. Instead of doing private vows or doing our vows at the ceremony, we did our vows at our rehearsal dinner. That is also when we allowed friends and family to come up and say something. The reason we did this route is because my husband is introverted and not a public speaker while I am the complete opposite. He also really wanted to see my walk down the aisle as our first look instead of a private look. Me, on the other hand, wanted at least our family and close friends to witness our vows. So we compromised! On top of it being two separate days, I was very adamant that I wanted two photographers along with wanting to capture the little things, such as my grandparents holding hands or our friends doing silly things at a table. I don’t mind staged photos, but I really wanted more natural focused shots. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone who was able to both days and within our price range. When we stumbled upon Annie, it felt like fate. She was so easy to figure things out with. Instead of an engagement photo session, she was happy to do our rehearsal dinner instead. She was there for any questions I had and the forms she had us fill out were super detailed! It really helped getting our thoughts together and deciding what was most important for our wedding. The day before the wedding, she vibed so well with everyone at the rehearsal dinner. She even got perfect photos of our dogs, who are honestly like our children. The day of the wedding, Annie and her second photographer (who I’ve completely blanked on the name, my fault for taking so long to write a review!) were amazing. Every single one of our friends had compliments for them and just LOVED their energy. Annie kept me calm and collected while the second was fully invested in my husband. I don’t think the wedding would have gone as smoothly without those two. The photos I received back? Better than I could ever dream of. Truly. They got beautiful shots of my grandparents dancing, my dad talking to one of his nephews, his mom talking with his brother. Just candid shots that looked real and natural. I am unbelievably so happy with Annie and the work she put in for us. Photographs are one of the most important things for me at our wedding and she truly blew it out of the park.We thank her for all her work from the bottom of our hearts and will always cherish the memories she gave us.”

“Sam and Kyle make an incredible creative team! We got in touch with them after a surprise elopement and were interested in them shooting our reception party. They excel in the elopement category as I am sure you can see from their epic portfolio, but they were just as amazing through the entire process and day of our reception. As with many couples these past few years, we needed to postpone our party for a year and a half before we could gather safely. Sam and Kyle kept in contact regularly and let us know we weren't alone. They provided some amazing guides and so much support while we worked through the challenges of planning throughout a pandemic and busy schedules. They have put so much thought and time into every aspect of their business and making sure their clients have a comfortable and beautiful experience when they work with The Dropped Pin. They encouraged us to sit down intentionally and to find time to go through the questionnaires together and it ended up making for some beautifully connected moments for me and my partner in the midst of everything else. This was all just in the lead-up to the day of! Sam and Kyle were punctual and showed up with plenty of time to get a lay of the venue while everything was still quiet. Like any "well-planned" event, everything ended up being behind schedule. He has blessed me with this gift, and I pray my work will always glorify Him. My love for photography goes back to my early childhood. My cousin, who is a phenomenal artist (kelseyrushingart), sparked my desire for creating art when I was about 10 years old. Since then, I have taught myself all that I know about the art and science of photography. I am constantly learning, especially from other creatives. I have been photographing on a professional level for 6 years this year.
