“Jaida was very kind throughout the whole process. She implemented an idea where we could get a picture with every guest on the staircase on their way to the buffet, which was great! There were pictures that I would have liked to be taken from a different angle (exit pictures and pj pics were very zoomed in) and different lighting (I am blonde and got washed out in pictures with my bridesmaids) but some of the pictures still turned out nice. There were some locations at the venue we didn’t get any pictures that I wish I would have provided more direction on. I asked to take some pictures outside even though it was cold and those turned out beautiful! Thankful she was willing to go out in the cold because those were the best pictures from the wedding! She was great at telling us which poses to do and making us feel comfortable. Overall Jaida was very kind and we have some nice pictures from our wedding!”

We did the package that included a second shooter, engagement photos, and film scans and I would do it all over again! The film scans were incredible and probably my favorite part of her photography (get it if you're on the fence!) and they totally elevated that romantic and intimate feel we were going for. My now husband was pretty nervous about getting engagement pictures done because he does not like having his photo taken at all. After our engagement photo session, he was so happy with how comfortable he felt during the shoot and how the photos turned out! On the wedding day, she captured EVERYTHING — wedding details, decor, guests, family, sweet candid moments of me and my husband during the first look, ceremony, and reception, and of course, the most iconic, gorgeous portraits of us too. She was very helpful in suggesting poses that looked natural and beautiful. Monica has a great eye for lighting and how to capture the beauty of a venue. She’s also great at capturing people — our wedding party included people of varying skin tones and she made everyone look good (ie no one was overexposed or underexposed). Monica and her team were so easy to work with and really listened to what my husband and I wanted (in terms of what we wanted captured or what poses we wanted to try), while also being attentive to our guests and capturing beautiful photos of them too.
