About Hubert Huy Photography

Hubert Duong

Hello, my name is Hubert Duong and I am a Dallas/Ft. Worth wedding photographer. Born and raised in the Dallas area, I've always loved photography. I have a deep appreciation for the arts and throughout college, I've delved into drawing, painting, computer animation, and of course photography. I've fallen in love with wedding photography, because it is a mix of fashion, portraiture, photojournalism, and it's a truly rewarding job to capture lasting memories for such an important day in my clients' lives. Producing meaningful work is what I strive for.

I shoot fully digital, but with a film aesthetic. I have a mixture of a classic and modern approach when shooting portraits and details, which means I won't just shoot documentary style, but I will try to move you to good lighting, give you direction, and arrange objects to make them look more visually appealing. I have the ability to photograph using natural light and utilizing different lighting techniques to capture the day. If you want a photographer who knows how to take flattering photos in natural light, uses studio quality flash for wedding family portraits, and knows how to work in a dimly lit reception, then we'd be a great fit!

    Hubert is simply amazing. He is an expert in his work and very very skilled. Before the wedding, Hubert sent a list of recommendations and tips which I appreciated because I did not even think of those for the day of the wedding. From that, it gave me the impression that he was very detail oriented. My husband and I were unsure of places to take our wedding party photos but thankfully, he sent over a list of places based on our large wedding party. On the day of the wedding, Hubert was very kind, easygoing, fun and communicative! He gave us concise instructions on poses for the perfect shots. Literally 2 days after the wedding, he sent us a preview (which was 215 photos!!) and we were speechless. His turnover time was impressive. We shared the link with all of our guests and they too were in shock of how fast we got our photos. I can't forget to mention how absolutely gorgeous ALL of the photos are. It's been 4 months since the wedding and I still cannot stop looking at them. Our family and friends have been asking for Hubert's information because they all want to save his name for their weddings in the future. Hubert, I cannot thank you enough for capturing memories for us on our big day!!

He also connects well with the clients and takes time to understand their personal preferences, style, and what looks best for them. He is also great at communicating prior to the day of execution as well as the day of. It’s always a great wedding day when our team is working with Hubert and his associates because we know that they will do all it takes to make the client happy and deliver beautiful photos.
