The Right Lens Photography is a Texas based wedding photography and videography business, owned by Samantha Vick. We specialize in capturing weddings through a mix of photojournalism and classic styles with a bright, light style. We travel anywhere, and offer engagement sessions, bridal sessions, boudoir sessions, and both photo and video wedding coverage. We are dedicated to serving all types couples, we believe that love is love, and everyone deserves to celebrate.

Hi! My name is Samantha Vick, and I am so excited that you've found me! I love being able to capture such a wonderful time in a couple's journey, and I would love to serve you! With over 10 years in the photography industry, and 6 years specializing in weddings and couples, I aim to be a resource for my couples.     Such a privilege!!

    I am a wedding planner in Dallas, and I absolutely loved working with Samantha as the photographer for one of my couple's weddings! Honestly, photographers can be hard to get a hold of leading up to the wedding day, but she was always so responsive and very easy to communicate with! I appreciated her insight into small details that made the day go even more smoothly, and her team was just a delight to work with. I truly hope we can work together again soon!

I will deliver a sneak peek within the first week after your wedding. Then you will receive your full gallery 6-8 weeks after your wedding. The exact time varies by season.
You can expect about 50-80 images per hour of wedding coverage. This varies due to the flow of a wedding day, some hours there is a lot happening, and some hours we are doing less. However, I do not cap the number of images I deliver, so you can rest assured that if I take a good photo, I will include it in your gallery. On average an 8 hour wedding date results with around 800 images in the final gallery.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
I always have a second shooter with me at every wedding. This is included in every package, I am dedicated to ensure that your entire day is captured and being able to be in two places allows that to happen. I work with a select group of other established wedding photographers that I trust to be my second shooter.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
