I am a husband to my beautiful wife Alana, a soon to be father, and a dog dad to Leia (a border collie/blue heeler mix) and Nakoa (an Alaskan Husky). I started photography in college when a couple of friends asked me to take their senior pictures because 'I had a nice camera'. From that first photo and the first edit I fell in love. Capturing genuine expression is something that I am incredibly passionate about. When I am not holding a camera you can find me behind a desk working as a Project Engineer or out in my workshop woodworking!

I am passionate about capturing genuine expression! This means that I don't do a lot of posing, I will put my couples in a certain position but then ask them questions or have them talk and laugh together. A side effect of this style of shooting is that people who typically aren't comfortable in front of a camera find themselves enjoying their time!

    Curtis was the best vendor we hired for our wedding! He is so kind, fun, and a remarkable photographer! Curtis was the most communicative of all of our vendors and did us the service of reaching out to us to confirm information, instead of the other way around. He was so supportive and excited when we told him we wanted to take our engagement photos in Colorado and made the whole experience super fun. On our wedding day, Curtis brought another photographer, Lauren, with him and both of them were such team-players. They not only captured the greatest photos but also offered to help with random things that came up and shared their general wedding knowledge throughout the day. I am SO glad we found Curtis and decided to hire him as our photographer because we now have the best photos of our favorite day!

    Curtis was so great to work with! He was always so quick to respond and answer all my questions. He worked with our timeline and made sure we got all the special shots we wanted to remember for forever. Curtis took the dreamiest photos for our engagement and bridal session, seriously so good! I’m so thankful he was available for our wedding because his work is so beautiful, and getting to relive the day through his photos makes me so happy.     Curtis’ eye for beauty and minimalism was shown throughout our wedding gallery. I was unsure of what my preference and style were regarding photos going into wedding planning, but the final product turned out to be what I had been imagining all along - light and airy while not being oversaturated.
