Hi, I am Makenna! I am from Dallas but will travel anywhere in the world to capture your love. I specialize in elopements, weddings, 35mm film, super 8 video, and vintage camcorder. My focus when approaching capturing wedding days is to document those intimate, tender in-between moments. That way, when you look back on these pictures on your 10th, 30th, 50th wedding anniversary, you'll be reminded of those sweet moments of the most amazing day of your life.

It's of upmost importance to me that we build a relationship where you can trust me to capture all of the important moments without feeling pressured to perform for the camera. I don’t want your day to feel posed or inauthentic, I want you to feel free to be yourselves! The TRUE meaning of the day should be about celebrating your love with your closest loved ones. Genuine connection is something I hold dearly and when prioritizing connection with people, art happens more authentically.

    the most authentic photographer

    My husband and I got married in dec 2023 and Makenna did our engagement plus wedding pictures. She is so easy to take pictures with because she plays music, doesn't force anything, and wants to capture the most authentic you! Our photos came out amazing and I favorited over half of them in my phone.     Amazing photographer

    If you are looking for a bubbly, sweet, funny, and down to earth photographer this is your person! She was so sweet and her attention to detail was impeccable. She flowed well with the timeline and took direction well as well as worked through family photos like a boss! Her photos were not what I expected they were sooooo much better. Seriously worth every penny

    Makenna is such a great soul to work with - she’s done more than 3 photoshoots for me and my wedding one was my absolute favorite. Couldn’t have found someone who captured the small details, she turned my vision into my memories forever!

My turnaround time for regular sessions is 2-3 weeks, and my turnaround time for weddings is 4-6 weeks.
For any non-wedding session, you should expect to receive 75-120 photos (minimum). For weddings, you will receive between 75-100 PER HOUR booked.
Yes, absolutely! I am happy to accommodate any needs you want! I can create a package that fits your wedding day perfectly, including hours of wedding day coverage, second shooter, extra engagement sessions, location scouting, and desired styles of shoots.
Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!
I sometimes do! For my biggest package, a second shooter is included in the price! If you are wanting a second shooter, we can talk about that add-on!
Definitely! I do not limit the amount of photos delivered as I deliver every good quality photo. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible! I do have amazing and truly talented videographer friends and vendors that I would love to point you to!
