Hello! My name is Hannah, the owner of Smallwood Photography! I definitely have the wedding bug and if I could physically do a wedding every single day I would gladly do it. There’s just something about the joy, excitement, and genuine love that I cannot get enough of! I absolutely love doing little detail shots of all the beautiful decorations that the couple put so much thought into. I want my couples to look back on the photos and be reminded of every detail, big and small, that made their special day perfect. My goal is to photograph a wedding in every state!

Photography is more than a three-second smile and click. To me, it is about what is behind the smile, and the reason for laughter. I would love to freeze-frame the times that make your life special. I am also extremely detail oriented and very 'go with the flow'

    A True Gem

    ️️️️️ Hannah was truly a dream to work with from start to finish. She photographed both our engagement session and wedding day, and made the entire experience feel so natural, easy, and enjoyable. From the moment we met her, we felt comfortable and confident that we were in the best hands. On our wedding day, Hannah brought such a calm and positive presence. She was organized and professional while still feeling like a friend by our side. She captured every important moment so beautifully—from our ceremony to the sweetest little candid shots we didn’t even realize were happening. One thing we especially loved was how intentional she was in making sure our post-ceremony after party with our bridal party was documented. Those photos are some of our favorites! And when the dance floor lit up to Pink Pony Club, she was right there catching the energy, joy, and absolute chaos in the best way possible. Our gallery is full of light, emotion, and personality—it feels like us. We’re so in love with every photo and beyond grateful to have had Hannah be such a special part of our day. We truly can’t recommend her enough!

    Amazing!

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding photographer! From the moment we met her, she was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional.     Stunning pictures!

    Hannah and her team were incredible to work with. The pictures we got back from our wedding day were STUNNING and captured all the love and joy from our special day. I can’t pick favorites because there are too many! Hannah was kind, flexible and so great to work with in helping us take posed and candid shots.     Smallwood Photography

    Hannah captured our wedding day on 12/02/23 and what an amazing job she and her 2nd photographer, Taylor did! We received so many compliments about our photos and tons of guests who said “they were everywhere you needed them all night, capturing photos of every moment!” We loved that our guests and family also saw how much work and love they put into photographing our day. They were patience with my stressed out mood during getting ready and never complained once when I requested specific pictures. We also received tons of photos back, which means the world to us! We are so thankful for Smallwood Photography and would recommend Hannah to anyone.

    Wedding Photography

    I highly recommended Smallwood Photography! We loved working with them for our wedding. Hannah was so friendly and easy to talk to. Our first meeting she truly listened to what we wanted and exceeded all of our expectations. On the actual wedding day, we all had so much fun with her and Taylor. She was very accommodating and nice with all requests. In the end, the photos were gorgeous and we received them within a good time frame. I look forward to booking any future sessions with them.

Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for no additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, timeline and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. But I do have some amazing recommendations!
