“My daughter and her husband chose Milton Ridge for their wedding venue. I live on the opposite coast so I had no opportunity to have a look myself. She and her husband were very happy with the layout of the property and the location. She assured me that staff were warm and friendly as well as very professional and that all questions were addressed promptly and in great detail. My daughter and her husband felt listened to and respected by everyone at Milton Ridge. I was anxious but it was their wedding and they had done a lot of research! I am overjoyed that they chose Milton Ridge for their very special day!! I spoke to many guests and family members that day and evening; everyone had high praise for the couple’s choice of venue. The property is self-contained with a beautiful turn of the century chapel on the lower level of the property and a very large bricked patio on the upper level; with an enormous wooden gazebo at one end and tiered garden area at the opposite end. Indoor or outdoor wedding?? Hard to choose as both areas are sooooo lovely. The Bridal suite and Grooms quarter are in a building adjacent to the chapel on the lower level of the property. Another turn of the century building with Bridal suite, porch and porch swing on the ground level and the Grooms quarters on the 2nd level via a private enclosed stairway; providing total privacy for both parties and their respective entourages. Both areas were very well appointed, comfortable and large; plenty of room for multiple people in each area to get ready for the big day! The Reception Hall was on the upper level with a porch and short stairway leading from the hall to the outdoor patio. The Hall was fresh and bright with plenty of room for DJ, tables, dance floor, bar and buffet without feeling overfilled or crowded. Bride and Groom chose the bar-b-que menu for their dinner; it was beautifully presented, delicious and plentiful. No one left Milton Ridge hungry that evening! The wait staff and bartenders were all very attentive and had obviously been very well trained at table service and bar service respectively. Music was provided by a DJ who was contracted by Milton Ridge and was included with the package that my daughter and her husband had chosen. The selection was a mix of old and new with the focus of getting the guests up and dancing. He was very good at his job and he accomplished his goal! Last but definitely not least; the photographer; also contracted with Milton Ridge! He was amazing!!! The unique shots, quality and beauty of his work left us speechless. He was everywhere, but never in the way, always inconspicuous and watching for that perfect candid shot. Even his posed photos had a very relaxed casual look about them. All photos were organized and available to the newlyweds on the Milton Ridge website within 10days of their wedding day!! ALL pictures belong to her and her husband to print, copy and share with whoever they wish!! Milton Ridge exceeded my expectation and I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!”

Our wedding day started on a sunny day at noon and ended in the evening. Villa shot great photos throughout all the lighting changes during the day including many flash photography and low light shots after the sun had set. My fiance had them there to photograph our proposal and I liked them so much that we booked them for our engagement and wedding sessions as well. We have some beautiful photos and everyone has complimented their work. I can be anxious, but Lindsay has been really easy to work with. She has a calm presence and I really like how she's set me at ease! Lindsay and Greg targeted their work to match things that we wanted to incorporate. I shared some Pinterest images with Lindsay and she saved them and actually posed us in them during our session! I offhandedly mentioned one of my favorite shots from our proposal during our engagement shoot and they came up with something so cute to do that matched the vibe of that right then and there! “We took on a lot of planning ourselves, and hired Rina to be our day of coordinator--or really month of coordinator--and out of all of our planning decisions, hiring Rina was one of the best decisions we made. Ahead of our first call, we sent a long document outlining the ideas we had--which she looked through and gave us useful feedback on as we considered what support we needed most. We had some unique ideas for how to do things our own way--and it was also clear from our conversation, that while Rina knows how to do a "textbook" wedding--she also knows how to listen to clients to help them make their unique vision a reality, even if that requires some creative thinking, crafting, or problem solving. When we did our venue walkthrough a month before the event, we sent Rina another long document, floorplan, and schedule the day before--and she once again arrived familiar with all of it. She had crucial suggestions, important questions we hadn't thought of, and proved again she was the right person to help us get prepared for the big day. That pattern repeated once more at rehearsal which was very efficient! The day of our wedding, Rina was punctual, professional, and in expert control running the show we had put together. She had already connected with all of our vendors, reviewed all the decorations we designed and how they set up, and was fully familiar with the timeline. When the inevitable surprises popped up, she was quick to roll with the punches--in a way that kept our plans on track! The entire event was not just beautiful, unique, and exactly the vibe we had envisioned--but it was also EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE, from set up to the paper lantern send off at the end! We are thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend Rina highly enough! She was our not so secret weapon. Let her be yours too! And make no mistake, while we had Rina as our month-of-coordinator--we would have absolutely hired Rina to take on the entire thing if we hadn't enjoyed planning so much (and even then, we couldn't have finished the plans without her input!). I will also say, having planned so much ourselves, it really made it very personal to us that the schedule we made, the decorations we crafted, and the timeline we envisioned were faithfully executed. It was so personal, that I thought it would be hard to hand off our cherished plan to someone else. Who could know it as well as us or care as much? But every conversation with Rina made letting go easy, because it was so clear she was listening to us, and understanding us. There is no one else we would've trusted with our plan except Rina.”
