With her quote, she sent over a proposed timeline for the day and recommendations of timing / number of photographers-- we used this to quite literally plan our whole day timeline around, and we were never running low on time; everything felt according to plan and never rushed. (Family photos were SO smooth!) Her level of detail is so special, and we loved the photos captured of all the hard work we put in on the decorations, venue, etc. as well as the organic human moments filled with emotion, silliness and beyond! She makes you feel so comfortable and ease immediately, which helped bring out the sweetness and silliness in our couples photos. We also got the BEST reception photos and loved how much happened on the dance floor or at cocktail hour that we didn't even see happen (because, you know, you're a bit busy seeing everyone)! I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. I wanted honest, documentary-style moments captured without noticing the presence of the photographer. He was there when you needed him and you liked him.
