I first found the Riverhouse searching on Zola. My husband and I spoke with Holly for our initial appointment. Holly had light music playing over the speakers when we arrived, and when I walked into the ballroom and onto the dance floor, I looked at my now husband and said, “This is it, I hope they have a date in 2025 available”. The planning process with Kelley and the team was wonderful! The worksheets that are provided make planning easy and outline all the tasks clearly. We attended their vendor show which helped us determine exactly what we were looking for in our vendors to design our perfect wedding day. Our detail meeting about a month before our wedding day was smooth and we easily made all our banquet choices. A week before our wedding, we met with Holly to ensure our day of timeline was exactly how we wanted it – she totally nailed it day of! We have been to many weddings, and we believed that food was one of the most important parts of our day. We were blown away by the quality (and quantity!) of food at the Riverhouse. At our tasting, my husband and I ranked the appetizer, salad and dinner choices. The rankings were so high, we had trouble narrowing it down! It’s been about 3 weeks, and our guests are still complementing our food and saying how beautiful the venue was. The mac and cheese bar has been a HUGE hit with our guests. On our wedding day, Holly and Loretta kept everything smooth and seamless and both ladies provided a calming atmosphere when things started to feel chaotic (shout out to Loretta for grabbing me tums!). It truly seemed as if all the staff at the Riverhouse enjoyed our wedding event as much as our guests did! The food service was outstanding and went right along with our timeline, our bartenders were flawless, and we totally spied a little bit of dancing going on to our music and we were absolutely overjoyed! We would like to thank everyone at the Riverhouse for making our day amazing! We hope to see you all again sometime soon!

I booked a board retreat here (August 2025). The view was simply breathtaking, and the ambiance created an elegance that permeated every aspect of the day. What truly sets this place apart (besides the view and beautifully maintained grounds) was the impeccable organization Samantha and her crew depicted. Every detail was clearly well thought-out and executed flawlessly, making the entire experience incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The timeline flowed seamlessly, transitions between different segments of the retreat were effortless, and there was a palpable sense of calm that allowed everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. This is the second time booking here and both times the food was delicious and flavorful.

As soon as we toured Pinecroft Estate and met with Shelley, my husband and I knew that we had found our venue. Shelley was wonderful in coordinating every last detail, from our decor, to our menu and weekend schedules, she had everything covered. We loved that they had so much decor inventory to choose from that made it easy to personalize our day. Our guests raved about the food, the ambiance, and how beautiful the entire day was. Our bridal party was in such good hands with our day of coordinator Shauna, everything ran smoothly and we were able to be fully present and enjoy our day knowing that they had everything under control. I can’t sing their praises and recommend them enough, our wedding was truly incredible thanks to Shelley, Shauna and the staff at Pinecroft Estate!

We had our wedding on June 7th 2025 at Lord Thompson Manor. I cannot express enough how you should have your wedding here. Andrew, Jackie, Janice and Ted are top tier. Janice made us feel so special and throughout the day advocated for me. When the rain stopped and i wanted pictures outside, Ted went and got a leaf blower to blow away the rain so that my dress didn’t get wet. I do not say this lightly that they will forever be like family to me. They made the best day of our lives extra special. Our guests are still saying to us they can’t stop thinking about our wedding, that it was magical and the best wedding they’ve ever have ever gone to and I owe that all to Lord Thompson Manor. I will be eternally grateful for the way they made us and our wedding feel extra special. You are making a mistake if you do not book with Lord Thompson Manor.

We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

Wright’s Mill Farm has weddings down! Between they’re prompt response for any questions we might have had, the upfront pricing, the guidebook, we were left feeling like we could tackle this wedding with no issues! But the real reason for that is the people! Bri is amazing, there isn’t anyone else I could imagine to trust to run the show like she did! Curt always had an answer for any question we came up with, Krissy was amazing, she paid special attention to my elderly grandparents, and they have been raving about her since the wedding! Mark was who we planned the music with, and the meetings we had with him were clear and concise and amazing to nail that all down, but when it came to the night of, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ, Patrick was fantastic! The best! He knew how to get the crowd out on the floor and keep them there! It was a prefect night, the husband and I can’t thank Wright’s Mill enough for all their attention to detail, passion for the industry, being so kind and being an integral part of a wedding that went so smoothly, and will be remembered for a lifetime!

The best decision was to have our wedding at Georgina’s. From the beginning to the actual day everything was taken care of and Harold went above and beyond. Everything was included from the cake to the table numbers to the reserved signs during the ceremony. Harold kept everything on task and the timing was perfect. I felt so confident during the whole process and he was so easy to work with. All of our guests were taken care of personally by either Harold or the staff. The food is amazing and the bartender never had a line. I cannot thank everyone enough for making our wedding the perfect day!! Do yourself a favor and have your wedding at Georgina’s.

Pleasant Valley was recommended to us by a friend that got married here also. We easily made our decision after seeing the venue, the ballroom is beautiful and can hold so many people. Pleasant valley was also much cheaper than a lot of places we looked at. Getting married during covid was not an easy process. Donna and the team at pleasant valley allowed to us to have our small but perfect wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. All our guests complimented how beautiful it was at PV and so many people told it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding!! Couldn’t recommend PV more!

This venue is STUNNING! We wanted a place that was beautiful enough on its own that we could save money on decor, and THIS WAS IT! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful. And we loved that we had access to the patio and outdoor fireplace all night, many great spots for our guests to mingle during the reception while they watched the sunset. Our day-of coordinator was super helpful and professional, but we didn’t get to meet him until the day before the wedding. Up until that point we worked exclusively with the “Event Coordinator” sales associate, who was nice enough but not very communicative. I often had to follow up multiple times to get my questions answered, she rarely reached out first with information, or she’d think she sent me things she hadn’t yet. I know a “coordinator” is not the same as a “planner,” but my other vendors were surprised she wasn’t more hands on. The venue is totally worth it, but the person that gives you the tour will likely be the same person you work with throughout the planning process, so make sure you like their vibe!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at The Hills Labor Day weekend of 2022. The venue is beautiful and perfectly manicured. The new pergola was a nice touch. The reception space is beautiful from the minute you walk in the doors. The views in the main room are stunning and breathtaking. The gold chairs and high ceilings make the room feel very grand and are a great setting for a wedding. Frank was very accommodating to all our requests. Allison was amazing- she anticipated and exceeded our needs and wants from the early stages of planning to providing helpful updates during the party. Everything ran smoothly and was handled eloquently. The staff was attentive and friendly. The Bartenders were smiling all night long. All my guests were complimenting the delicious food and gorgeous venue. The bridal suite was perfect for me and my wedding party to gather ourselves before the ceremony. The aesthetic and decor was very modern and clean. I had the best time at My wedding and I’m very Grateful to The Hills management & staff for providing the perfect space for us to celebrate with our loved ones. 10/10 highly recommend!

From the second we saw the venue in person and met with the Event Manager, Myles, we knew we found the perfect venue. The venue was beautiful from the start but the added touches of drapery, being able to select the right arch from their numerous options and countless other decor items really allowed us to bring our vision to life. The event spaces of the ceremony room, courtyard for cocktail hour and reception room comfortably fit our 94 guests. We were also very appreciative of not only having a spacious bridal suite to get ready in but also a grooms suite, as both came in handy. In briefly working with the Owner and Event Manager, Erin, we were introduced to the transportation option of using the venue's trolley service, which we were so thrilled we went with as our guests greatly enjoyed the special ride. And as mentioned, we knew The Boylston Rooms was the right venue for us after we met with Myles. Working with Myles was fun, effortless and very thorough. We also had the chance to work with Event Manager, Alyssa, on the day of the wedding who did a great job meeting our needs each step of the way. We would highly recommend working with The Boylston Rooms if you're looking for a spectacular venue with myriad decor options and wonderful staff members. Just had our wedding here on June 21, 2025! The Barrel Room - We had 32 guests and it was the perfect fit. They also have a bigger room, The Green Room if you have a larger guest count. Planning - Christine the New Park staff were absolutely amazing! She answered every single question we had, helped us out with those small details, and made every step so easy! Thankfully the venue took care of the tables, chairs, & place settings. We got 2 hours for set up & 1 hour for tear down, and as a DIY bride this was so great! Food - We really wanted a meal that we would enjoy and didn’t want traditional “wedding food”. We opted for Patty’s Pizza catering stationed hors d’oeuvres from Salt & Pepper Catering. Our guests were obsessed with the pizza and kept talking about it all week. Highly recommend - Veggie, Artichoke, Meatball, Pepperoni, with Caesar Salad. Spring Rolls, Korean BBQ skewers, Pollo Asado Empanada, Nashville Hot Chicken Bites, Beef Barbacoa Empanada. They also have a ton of other options like a pub menu, Gato’s Tacos, brunch, buffet, & dessert options. Alcohol - We opted for the Beer, Wine, & Liquor option and it was a hit with our guests. The Blender was a hit even for those who don’t usually drink beer! Parking - There was an event the same day as our wedding so the parking was a bit tight but they have parking in the back street parking. Thankfully we told our guests to use ride-share so they could enjoy the open bar! Decor - The Barrel Room was already so cute we really didn’t need much extra decor. From cute pink palm tree wall to the barrels with plants everywhere, it was stunning. We were able to pick the table and place setting arrangements and napkin colors. We also got to use their arch which added a great addition to the ceremony space. Music - I am such a music girly that I really wanted my exact playlists playing. They provided this speaker mic that worked perfectly for our needs. I created several playlists on Spotify that we used all night and plugged in our IPad. Our guests had a blast and so glad we opted to go this route. Happy to share my playlists, if you are interested! Dog Friendly - Another requirement we had for our wedding was to have our pup attend. There was plenty of room for us to have him there and be a part of the ceremony while also having his own space to relax during the rest of the wedding. Things to Know - If you are having your ceremony in this room, they don’t really have a place to “hide” before your guests arrive. We really wanted to spend a lot of time with our guests so we both were in the room as everyone arrived. If they didn’t have the event the same day, they offered for us to hide in the green room. Overall - We really wanted an all inclusive type venue that was within our budget. Our main priorities were food, drinks, and overall guest experience. If you are having an intimate wedding where you want to have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and rehearsal dinner all in one space, this is the place for you! I’m sure this would also be great for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner! Or look into The Green Room if you have a larger guest count!
