“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! David gave us suggestions on why certain lighting changes the whole vibe of the events. Used him for three events and all three were phenomenal. “Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

He kept guests on the dance floor all night long, and did a great job MCing our event and helping us orchestrate several performances. We planned special entrances for each member of the bridal party, a surprise choreographed dance, and multiple speeches which he handled with ease. “We had the absolute pleasure of Chris Morris from Buffaluv soundz DJing our wedding this July. Everything from the initial consultation to the last hours he was there cleaning up his equipment was a great experience in which we felt true dedication from him and his team towards making our day perfect. They were extremely down to earth and easy to work with. Chris helped personalize so many touches within our day from a unique first dance to hyping our folks up for the dance floor. He was so extraordinarily professional arriving very early to set up and make sure everything was perfect and checking in with us in regard to all sorts of details that really brought our dreams to reality. I can’t say enough about what a difference it made to have such an attentive to detail and caring person in charge of the sound, music and overall vibe of our wedding day. There was nothing generic, boring or overdone and every moment felt like it was truly ours. Chris is the best! I would recommend him to everyone! we went with a package that included the Photo Booth and Cloud effect for the dance floor which made our first dance so fire! Everyone really loved the Photo Booth. They had great props and backgrounds and they even gave us a photo album filled with our guest pics. That was an awesome surprise at the end of the night. Lastly, I just have to add, I was worried about DJ equipment and the look of it and the whole set up that Chris brought was gorgeous modern white, clean and elegant. We were so impressed! It really added to our aesthetic perfectly. Overall, they were just an absolute 10 out of 10 and made our wedding a fairytale come true!”

They could have met as toddlers in Western New York; instead, they fell in love as teenagers in Western Illinois. Since then, they’ve roamed and rambled to Florida, New Jersey, Indiana, and back to Western New York. In January 2025, The Deneckes released blue & gold, an album comprised of songs Hannah wrote while artist-in-residence at St. Gertrude’s Monastery in Cottonwood, Idaho. In April 2023, The Deneckes released their debut album, lady of the gardens, and in September 2023, they released an EP of old American folk tunes, pilgrim songs from the sacred harp.

“Downtown Sound is the best wedding band! Solid musicians with incredible energy all night. We requested mostly older stuff, 1960s-2000s, with lots of rock, funk, R&B, and soul. They tailored their set lists to our preferences perfectly. It could not have been a better vibe! We opted for the 7-piece band: guitar, drums, keys, bass, 2 vocalists, saxophone. Highly recommend getting at least 1 brass player. Mary Kate (vocalist) was so helpful during planning and was so great to work with. She took some of the stress off us and made sure the night went super smoothly. Everyone is still raving about the band 6 months later! They were such a huge part of the night, and it was perfect. They also let me jump in with them for a couple songs (I play guitar) which was a treat. Truly top-tier professional musicians. Cannot recommend this band enough!”

“What an incredible band! The dance floor was packed all night! At one point during our daughters outdoor wedding, the power needed to be shut down due to lightning. CCO didn't let that stop them as the horn section continued to play and kept the party going. All night long, our guests started every conversation with, "where did you find this band?" They were shocked to find out that they were a Central PA band. Everybody assumed they were from NYC or Philly. Everything was perfect! 10 out of 10”

We had some unexpected rain which changed our portrait location and timeline a bit and Ron & Theresa were very flexible with adjusting the order of events to accommodate us.
