“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. They even came to the rehearsal (small extra cost) to make sure all music cues were exactly how I wanted them which was great as many DJs had told me “no.” It really helped ease my nerves knowing things were well executed and ran through the day before. Throughout the planning process, Bill was very responsive to any questions I had via email or extra phone calls. I did have a change I added in last minute so our dog could be apart of reception announcements and they didn’t even flinch at the last minute change of plans. They nailed it. They played great songs, surprised us with a gift after our first dance, and even kept bringing my girls and I fans cause they had us dancing all night. She has a great personality, warm and genuine presence, and has so much passion for her craft. We knew coming out of that consultation that we wanted to book her, but soonafter realized that she actually was the DJ for my friend's wedding earlier in the year -- so that additional seal of approval instantly sealed the deal for us. Norah was a great communicator and collaborator throughout the months leading up and on the day of. Everything went exactly according to plan -- who can say that about their wedding?? -- and she was a large contributor to that. Norah followed all of my planning documents (I didn't have a planner or day-of coordinator) and was quick on her toes -- despite an ankle injury -- to improve upon those plans as needed day-of, working closely with our caterer, photographer, officiant, her assistant (due to the injury), and family/friends to ensure my husband and I could have an amazing, worry-free day. And of course, she provided the soundtrack for the whole day, using all of my 'must-plays,' none of our 'do-not-plays', and filling in the gaps with crowd favorites. She was such a joy to work with. “Funktastic Productions Llc. was an absolute hit at our wedding! From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, friendly, and super detailed - they clearly cared about making our day perfect. And that's exactly what they delivered. I chose to have live piano and violin at my ceremony and they sounded beautiful together. They played every song I requested with depth and precision- even the fairly new music (I requested Birds of a Feather for the recessional, and they NAILED it!) They provided mics to the musicians and the officiant stand, which ended up being a lifesaver for us. The DJ and violinist were both fun and talented, keeping the dance floor packed all night long.
