After we booked him to be our DJ, he sent over a wonderfully detailed excel document for us to work in and add all the details needed for our wedding day! He was available to answer any of our questions, and prior to the wedding, we had a call to walk through everything on the spreadsheet in preparation of the day! He knows things you wouldn’t even think of and gave his honest opinion when we asked him for advice! We loved the various options he has! We included a violin duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour and we did the photo booth through him too - both were incredible and with the photobooth we received an album at the end of the night with all the pictures! We were able to add the lighting, which we did in purple to match our colors! On the day of our wedding, DJ Sam and his assistant were very communicative and easy to work with, we didn’t have to stress one bit! Our dance floor was packed the entire night, and he listened to everything we went over in our prep call! “What a great experience! Ahead of our wedding, Sandro was very professional, direct, and easy to work with. His song catalog was expansive, which allowed us to select music across a range of genres and artists to perfectly suit both our Ceremony and Happy Hour. We provided our song selections along with specific directions for entrances and exits during the Ceremony, all of which were executed flawlessly. Sandro’s performance was excellent and set the perfect ambiance for the entire event. Sandro’s electric violin performance was ideal for our outdoor November wedding ceremony (acoustic instruments can be sensitive to cold temperatures, and many performers have restrictions because of this). The sound quality was amazing, and the fact that he was entirely self-sufficient with his equipment meant there were zero complications coordinating with our DJ or other vendors. I would highly recommend working with Sandro—he was a true professional and a fantastic addition to our wedding day.”

“Stephanie, aka DJ Stardust, DJed our wedding in June of 2023. Neither of us are huge music people, so we were looking for a DJ who could run with minimal direction, and Stephanie was exactly that! She was very organized and communicative leading up to the wedding day. She had a great form that we filled out with all the details you could possibly imagine in terms of songs we wanted/didn’t want/when, and she executed exactly as we expected. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in three different rooms/spaces, and Stephanie seamlessly moved through providing appropriate music (and emceeing) at each. The one special thing we asked her to do was coordinate a “photo dash” (where everyone sitting at each table comes up to the dance floor for a group photo within the time limit of one song), and she did it very well. She accidentally skipped a table at one point, but rather than making a big deal about it, she joked about it and everyone laughed. The photo dash was one of the most talked-about things after our wedding. Something unique that our venue offered was the chance for DJs to plug into a high-end speaker system they had installed for a small fee. We asked Stephanie to do this, and at first she was hesitant because she didn’t want to be using equipment she wasn’t familiar with day-of (understandably!). Of her own volition, she reached out to our venue and coordinated a time where she could go see the equipment and practice setting up to make sure it would work with her equipment and just generally feel it out. We really appreciated her going above and beyond in this way, and the day of the wedding went off with no issues at all.”

We didn’t give much direction as far as songs but Jeff was so intuitive to our crowd that every song made every guest get up out of their seat. Jeff is a pro and the compliments are still being received on the music for the event. Jeff was patient with the requests that came consecutively his way from our guests and he mixed those in seamlessly with the existing set. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Alan C was easy and great to work with! We had a music range from Bad Bunny, Creed, The Killers and more! We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). Such a great time. We received so many compliments on our music and the dance floor was busy all night long! He was always very responsive and quick to work with any last minute changes (we had a rainy day).”
