“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

He was a blast to work with and a master of his craft. Once we spent about 45 minutes chatting about our shared music (and video game) taste on our intro call, we knew we'd found the right DJ for us. Aeron's MCing style exudes calm and command -- he's an expert and letting people know what's happening and where they need to be while keeping the mood light without putting the spotlight on himself. Aeron is also just an exceptional DJ, full stop. We shared a Spotify playlist with him a few weeks before the wedding to help him understand our general musical vibe, and he crushed it all afternoon and evening. Aeron read the vibes of the room perfectly, nailed my wife and I's musical vibe, and had some absolutely diabolical cuts and transitions. Aeron is just an incredible DJ and so fun to work with. “Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. “DJ Nahchey and DASH entertainment do a great job coordinating all your musical needs for any type of event - for us it was our wedding. From the beginning it went smoothly and he and his team are very thorough and responsive. We chose DJ Becca who is very nice and was up our alley of musical taste. Our goal was for a dance vibe type of wedding but there were a few miscues with the songs she played. We’d hope she would read the room better and continue to play songs that she noticed people were enjoying but her transitions between songs were a bit odd. Nonetheless, she was a joy to work with and maybe with a bit more direction (our fault, not hers!) this would be a 5 star review. Highly recommend reaching out to DJ Nahchey and DASH Entertainment, they have many DJs to choose from!”
