“Damien and the Sumar team were fantastic and made our wedding so fun and special! We booked The Wedding Crashers for our reception and their harpist for our ceremony. Damien worked with us for weeks leading up to our late June wedding to confirm every detail and helped us curate the perfect playlist. He even helped us customize a few songs so that they would have maximum impact. We unfortunately had a sudden rain delay to our ceremony but Damien didn’t miss a beat and perfectly adjusted to ensure everything ran smoothly. The harpist was absolutely beautiful and made our ceremony feel like it was straight out of a story book. The wedding crashes ensured that our dance floor was always packed and the party never slowed down. Its been a week since our wedding our guests are still raving about how amazing they were! “Hoi Polloi - 10/10 having a band was super important to us. Hoi Polloi was everything we could have hoped for and more! They played all the music we asked for and were great to work with from the start. We booked them for our ceremony, our cocktail hour, and had 11 people with horns and a DJ. They were fantastic to work with and we loved working with them. Jim is super responsive which makes a difference. He made sure the band knew all the music we wanted to play and they even interacted with guests (which I loved).They are also VERY reasonably priced and should probably charge more! They were great. I think the biggest compliment is that people from all ages kept saying they loved them which was perfect to me. They opened with Runaround Sue which is one of the best wedding songs in the world. Everyone got on the dance floor once that song came on and they didn’t leave.”
