“Our wedding was on November 2024 and Caio and his team at Deity had made it such an easy process! Let’s rewind a bit to when my wife and I were venue shopping. We had initially stumbled upon Deity through their amazing reviews and reached out to Caio to see if we can take a tour of the venue. His response time was faster than any of the other places that I’ve reached out to and he has been so accommodating to my schedule to tour. Upon touring the place, it was such a “Brooklyn vibe” with the exposed brick in the loft as well as the amazing cellar and dance floor. Its unique structure was also a great selling point for us as all of the places were isolated on a specific floor. The highlight was certainly the wedding suite on the top floor! After our tour, we knew that this was the place for our wedding. Initially, we were planning a micro wedding but having physically looked at the venue, we opted for the all-inclusive wedding along with the bridal suite option. Honestly, the prices were too good not to go for it. Caio and his team thankfully had the exact date we wanted for our wedding. Planning for the wedding was such a breeze thanks to Caio and his team. They would periodically reach out to coordinate the wedding and any questions I had would prompt an immediate response from his team. Caio’s team coordinated everything with my additional vendors and honestly made planning so easy. All I had to do was just tell his team what I wanted for the wedding. Inching closer to the day of, we had scheduled a food tasting with Chef James so we had a better idea of what to pick for the menu. If you have the budget for it, certainly opt for the tasting. Chef James is a master at what he does. Every single plate of food that was presented was meticulously explained and not to mention delicious! One of the biggest things that guests care about at a wedding is the food and let me tell you, the food was delicious. We had our reservations of whether or not there would be enough food given it was family-style, but all of our guests were well fed and full. After the wedding, our guests wouldn’t stop talking about the food! On the day of the wedding, we had access to the venue in the morning to bring our outfits to the wedding suite. This area was great as it provided the perfect space for us, along with friends and family to get ready. Hair and makeup were all done in the wedding suite prior to the wedding. Guests upon arrival were directed by staff and for welcome drinks and taken to the loft prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, we were directed back to the wedding suite for a chance for the two of us to enjoy some snacks and take a breather while guests were enjoying cocktail hour. Halfway throughout cocktail hour, we were guided back to mingle with guests and then went back upstairs for the reception. After enjoying a wonderful meal, it was time to party down at the cellar. DJ BenHa had such a great playlist and guests enjoyed a wonderful night of dancing. Plus, the open bar concept and specialty cocktails curated by the bartending team were such a hit. Even to this day, when I speak to guests, they can’t stop talking about our wedding. If you want an affordable, all-inclusive, all-planned out wedding, Deity is your bet. Caio and his team will ensure that your wedding will be stress-free and a breeze.”

“Celebrate at Snug Harbor continues to be one of my favorite venues to work with. Every detail is handled with care, and having Kenzie as the main point of contact makes all the difference. She's the captain of the ship, keeping things running smoothly while creating space for vendors to do their best work. I recently DJ’d the BNI Prefer to Refer holiday party there, and like every event I've done at Snug, it was executed beautifully from start to finish. The communication is seamless, the team is organized and respectful of every role, and the guest experience is always a priority. I look forward to every opportunity to work with Kenzie and the entire Snug Harbor crew.”

“As two people who work in events, we came into wedding planning with a clear vision and high expectations — and The Sanctuary exceeded every single one. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but the team behind it made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Cat and Arthur truly stepped up to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to actually enjoy the day and just have fun. That’s not something we take for granted, especially knowing all that goes into producing events like this. We also want to give a big shoutout to Steve the bartender, who was part of our initial tastings and ended up being a total hit with our guests. His energy, professionalism, and cocktails added so much to the experience — people are still talking about him! From the planning process to the final moments of the night, the entire team’s professionalism, care, and attention to detail were evident. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the space was and how effortless the whole celebration felt. We’re so grateful to the team at The Sanctuary for helping create a day that was meaningful, joyful, and completely us. If you’re considering this venue — go for it. You’re in the best hands.”

The venue itself is stunning—our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the hall was. What really stood out was how Mrs. Letterel went above and beyond for us; when I realized I'd left my throw bouquet at the hotel, she stepped in and provided one so our ceremony could go on without a hitch. Her knowledge and attention to detail made the entire day run smoothly, from the first planning meeting all the way through our reception. “As a bride, I’m honestly so glad we chose this venue for our wedding banquet. From the very first visit to the actual wedding day, the entire experience was smooth and reassuring, which made the whole planning process so much less stressful for me. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It has a luxurious European-style design with very high ceilings, which makes the space feel grand and elegant. It also photographs incredibly well—something that was really important to me. When we first brought our family to see it, everyone was impressed right away. On the wedding day, the service really stood out. The staff were professional and experienced, and everything ran seamlessly. I didn’t have to worry about the flow of the event at all, which allowed me to truly enjoy the moment. The timing of the courses was also very well managed, and many of our guests complimented the food. Another huge plus is the large private parking lot, which made things so much easier for our guests—especially in New York, where parking can be a challenge. Overall, this venue gave me a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience that I’ll always remember. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding banquet venue.”

“Atmosfera was the perfect space for our wedding day. The venue itself is stunning and spacious, with plenty of room for all our guests to celebrate comfortably. David, the owner, was fantastic to work with and made us feel heard throughout the planning process, though we did find the venue coordinator's communication a bit unclear at times. On the day of the event, the staff really showed up for us – the room flip was seamless and the bar and wait staff were attentive and responsive to our needs. We did experience some AC issues that really made the ceremony experience tough for the bride, but nothing took away from how beautiful the space looked or how smoothly everything ran. We'd definitely recommend Atmosfera to other couples looking for a gorgeous venue with a team that genuinely cares.”

“We had our City Hall wedding this summer and chose Sweet Afton & The Sidekick for our evening celebration with about 70 guests, and we truly could not have been happier with the experience. We hosted an open bar with a spread of small bites, and both the drinks and food were fantastic. The cocktails were so well made, the food was delicious, and our guests loved everything. Our bartender was wonderful and kept the drinks coming all night. At one point, our group ordered about 10 Old Fashioneds at once, and she just got right to work making them all! Tali, the event manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. In the weeks leading up to the event, she walked us through all the details from lighting, flowers, food, event flow, to the disco ball, and even things I never would have thought to ask about myself. She was thoughtful, organized, and incredibly helpful. One of my favorite examples of how game Tali was for all our ideas happened during a planning meeting. I wanted to test how the speakers would sound for a dance performance, and it happened to be raining. Tali still went outside and stood in the rain so I could properly test the sound! We learned that she is also a dancer, so she completely understood the cause. On our wedding night, she even helped cue the music for the performance. That really sums up what it was like working with her. She was there running the show throughout the evening, but everything happened so seamlessly that you almost couldn't tell she was there. The team was also incredibly flexible about letting us make the celebration feel like our own. We brought our own flowers, had a live sketch artist, planned a dance performance, and even had the option to bring our own dessert. At our request, they also reserved two tables for our families and made sure our older parents had chairs with backs so they would be comfortable throughout the night. The space itself is beautiful, but it really comes alive at night. Between the exposed brick, colorful lighting, candlelight, and a classic NYC feel, the venue had such a warm, intimate atmosphere. Our photos turned out beautifully against the colorful backdrop. There were also thoughtful touches on the day of the event, including printed drink and food menus created specifically for our celebration, which looked beautiful, polished, and professional. Most importantly, we were able to actually enjoy our own party. Everything felt taken care of, our guests had a wonderful time, and the night felt exactly like the celebration we had imagined. We are so grateful to Tali and the entire Sweet Afton & The Sidekick team for making our wedding celebration so fun, beautiful, and memorable. We would absolutely recommend them for a wedding or special event!”

“We're so glad we chose The Bonnie for our wedding. Living in the city we don't get to host people often and were looking for a venue with a warm and personal vibe, elevated without being too formal - we were so lucky The Bonnie is right in our neighborhood! Their event manager Tali is very flexible, calm, and easy to communicate with. She and the whole staff were amazing throughout the night, resetting the ceremony space into dinner space seamlessly and navigating around an enthusiastic dance floor late into the night. Not a glass was broken! They also let us use the bar TVs to share a slideshow and some videos which were a big hit with guests and made the whole event feel so personal. We booked the back garden, oak room, and snug area and had around 105 people. This was a good number for the space (max capacity was 120 which I'm glad we did not hit). We got lucky with the weather for mid August and it was low 80s during the day of our wedding. I was nervous about the heat in the garden but it was comfortable. I was also a bit nervous about the dance floor being cobblestone but it was perfectly fine and didn't stop anybody of any age! If you have eaten here you know the food and drinks are great. We particularly appreciated the ease of accommodating dietary restrictions. Their wedding menu has a nice selection of options and their executive chef Nick also customized a bit beyond that, offering us a gluten free dessert. Our one vegan guest got a vegan pastrami sandwich which was a hit! There was also more food at cocktail hour than I expected, with a couple people asking us if it was the dinner. This will sound weird but I was surprised how much fun I had. So thankful to everyone at The Bonnie for being so on top of everything and letting us enjoy the day!”

“We originally looked at more “industrial” venues because we wanted that intimate feel and didn’t love catering hall vibes. We found Renaissance as we live close by and loved it once we toured initially. They have the space of a catering hall but the experience of a single party venue. Food was great and we never felt like we were being uncharged/swindled. Even at one point we saw an error on the agreement and Lisa changed it no problem. She was a delight to work with and never made us feel like our ask was so unbelievable. Bridal suite was big enough for 10 people to get ready. Overall nothing but great things to say about Renaissance.”

“Picking M. Wells as my wedding venue was the best decision I’ve ever made. You feel like you’re part of their family the moment you reach out. Sarah was so easy going and positive and flexible. Everything we asked, she said yes to. They are so supportive of whatever you want, whatever will make your day special and unique to you. The space is stunning and unique and can accommodate the ceremony and reception with different configurations to accommodate small to medium weddings. We had 75 guests and it was ideal. It’s intimate, cozy and just so special. The neighborhood is fun and trendy and makes for amazing pictures. And I promise you will not get better food for the price anywhere else. It’s the best deal in NYC. There is no set menu to choose from - you tell the chef what you like and they come up with amazing, inventive dishes, personalized to you and the season. The food was incredible and impressive and bountiful. We even had a poutine course after dessert! All my guests said my wedding was the most fun, unique wedding they had been to and everyone raved about the food. It was pure magic and love from start to finish. I would give anything to relive that day again. M. Wells forever ️”

“Our wedding at Ravel was nothing short of extraordinary. From our very first phone call with Eman to the very last dance, the entire team made us feel supported, celebrated, and completely at ease. Our wedding planner, Eman, was an absolute star. Her organization, creativity, and calm presence kept everything on track. She understood our vision from day one and executed every detail flawlessly. We truly could not have asked for a better guide throughout this journey. My bridal attendant, Mrianda, was a lifesaver. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask — fixing my dress, keeping me hydrated, calming my nerves, and making sure I felt beautiful and comfortable all day long. Her kindness and attentiveness made a world of difference. A special thank-you goes to Anna and Joe, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the entire day ran smoothly. Whether it was coordinating timing, helping guests, or managing transitions, they handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. We felt so well taken care of, and our families noticed too. The venue itself is stunning — from the views, THE VIEWS, to the ambiance to the seamless flow of each part of the celebration. But what truly sets The Ravel apart is its incredible team. They made our wedding not just beautiful, but stress-free and joy-filled. Our guests were talking about our wedding for weeks after. All raving about the views, food, cocktail hour, and the overall incredible time they had. If you’re considering Ravel for your big day, do it. You’ll be treated like family, your vision will be brought to life, and you’ll walk away with memories that feel nothing short of magical.”

“Wow! We had our wedding at Farm to People (FtP) in June 2026 and we cannot recommend them enough! It was easily the best wedding planning decision we made. Planning: FtP made wedding planning so much easier! From the very beginning we were blown away by how much FtP offered, all at a very reasonable price (especially when looking around at other venues NYC). The in-house catering, rentals, drinks, ceremony space, dessert, and florals significantly cut down on the things we needed to find ourselves, and FtP provided a list of local vendors for the things not provided in house. In addition to offering so much, it was also clear from the start FtP they cared about us and our experience. Rachel was so helpful from the beginning, and met with us regularly to discuss what we wanted and work through the wedding planning process. She would regularly go above and beyond to troubleshoot any issues or answer questions to ensure we were happy with the day. Ariella was also so helpful at managing the staff/logistics. The Space: FtP is absolutely beautiful, especially when dressed up for a wedding. The venue is spacious enough for us to have felt comfortable with our 118 guests, and could probably have accommodated more depending on layout. The two spaces inside FtP, as well as the outdoor space, offer a number of different options for configuring your wedding, especially if you’re planning to have your ceremony and reception there like we did. FtP somehow feels both spacious and intimate - I’m not sure what it is about the space, but every time we were there, it felt like such a beautiful and inviting space. This was no different on our wedding day. We didn’t need much decor and only brought in a couple of signs and two large floral arrangements. One thing to note is there is no traditional “getting ready space” on site, so you will need to get ready elsewhere. Food & Drinks: Food and drinks is one of the areas where FtP especially shines! Their partnerships with local farms ensure they have incredibly fresh, in-season ingredients in their food and drinks. They have different food packages to choose from, and we were able to customize as we wanted (we had passed apps a charcuterie grazing table during the cocktail hour and a buffet for dinner). FtP was also able to easily handle any guest dietary restrictions/allergies. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it, and we received many compliments from our guests about it! Similarly, the drinks were spectacular! My husband had a vision of the cocktail wanted as “his” at the wedding, which he designed himself. The bar captain at FtP (s/o Jules) was able to work with his recipe to make the cocktail my husband designed to be served at the wedding (which my husband bragged about throughout the night lol). We were able to have 3 custom cocktails (including one named after our cat, which Rachel made a sign for that included her picture 3). All of the staff at FtP were so kind and helpful! We didn’t have any issues with the venue, and we felt like true VIPs and so well taken care of. We had the best, most carefree, love-filled night! All of our guests raved about the food, the space, the drinks, and what a fun time they had at our wedding! FtP is such an incredible value for what they offer, and we’re so thrilled to have had our wedding there. It was worth every penny and then some, and we’re so grateful to all of the staff there! Keep doing what you’re doing FtP!”

“There are too many good things to say. Fandi Mata is a beautiful space that really captures the feeling of Brooklyn. Everyone raved about the food and the plants and just how unique it felt as a wedding venue. It was intimate and fun and lively. Our guests also raved about how good the food was, and the drinks and cocktails were equally yummy. The service was impeccable; the staff was so friendly and present throughout. Ivana, the in-house coordinator, runs this venue like a well oiled machine. You are in amazing hands, and I never had to worry about a thing leading up to the event or on the day. I truly felt like a guest in my own wedding because of her thoughtfulness, rigor, and professionalism. Of all the venues in the city, I really think that Fandi Mata has the complete package for a very fair price based on how naturally beautiful it is inside and how much comes with the experience. They don’t upsell you and let you work with whichever vendors you’d like. We knew as soon as we walked in this was it for us, and every interaction with Ivana and the team proved that out. I’d recommend also looking them up on Reddit because there are a lot of good, in depth reviews there, too. That’s how I originally found this venue. Thank you so much, Ivana & Fandi Mata!!!!”

“Brooklyn Winery was a dream venue for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, the staff were responsive, easy to talk to, and provided detailed information to help us plan our special day. On the day of, all of the staff were pleasant and seemed to be vibing with the energy of the wedding. Our day of coordinator even helped us create a last minute boutonniere when we realized we were missing one. The space itself was beautiful, full of warmth and character that made our celebration feel truly dreamy. All of our guests were gushing about how dreamy the venue was and the quality of food which we were so happy to hear. The mashed potatoes and the steak were the biggest hit! I loved how our guests were able to slip into the cocktail room for dessert and catch up with each other or go dancing on the dance floor. The only regret I had was missing the opportunity to take photos in their lovely & iconic wine barrel area as it was blocked off due to all the storage and the dinner rehearsal that was going on in the tasting room. Definitely would recommend Brooklyn Winery for couples who are looking for that rustic but whimsical vibe.”

“Where to even begin! First off, my wife and I had a fairly large wedding for NYC, roughly 200 people, so when we started to look at venues, we were so nervous about what we would find. Rule of Thids was actually the first venue we saw, and we were blown away by the space. If you’re renting out the full venue, you get access to the entire restaurant, plus the event space, as well as the outdoor area. It makes the flow of the wedding so nice, so everyone wasn’t crammed into one space as they were trying to flip it for the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. We were also able to rent out the photo studio attached to the sake shop to get ready in, so we were on-site all day, which was AMAZING. We could easily discuss things with our day-of coordinator, florist, etc., and the space was so large and had impeccable light (our makeup artist and hair stylist were super happy with it!). We chose to use the venue coordinator, Julie, as our day of coordinator, and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was incredibly responsive, super organized, and comes from the wedding industry, so she brought up things that we didn’t even think to consider for the day of that were so helpful. Beyond that, she was so pleasant to work with and just had an amazing, chill vibe that everyone wants from their coordinator on the wedding day. It was also amazing that she works at the venue, so she knew all the ins and outs of the space and could easily coordinate with our other vendors. She helped ensure the bridal party was in the right places at the right time, moved people from room to room when needed, and helped us stay on track with the flow of the wedding, which was perfect and so seamless. She and the ROT team set up the entire space exactly as we envisioned, and everything looked beautiful! The venue is honestly perfect for a wedding. We were able to use private dining spaces in the venue for a photobooth and coat closet, plenty of bathrooms (not something you think about until you go to a wedding with too few!), an amazing outdoor space for guests to cool down/get away from the noise, a huge dance floor area, spacious dining room, and so many bars for our guests to go to. The staff were all amazing, endlessly refilling drinks and food, and everyone was incredibly nice. Even after all of the amazing things above, the best part about Rule of Thirds is the food. From the cocktail hour to the dessert, this food is amazing and well beyond typical wedding standards. We had so many guests tell us how good everything was, and we were told this was the first wedding at the venue where every single canape and raw bar item was eaten, so our guests were very happy! (if you can, splurge on the raw bar because it was so good!!) After the ceremony, they set up a spot for us to sample all the canapes and raw bar items, which we were super thankful for since we would never have eaten anything otherwise. We also had a very specific request for a mazeman noodle dish we had eaten when we toured the space a year prior, and the chef and team made it happen for us, which was AMAZING and so incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a wedding venue and considering Rule of Thirds, DO IT! We wish we could relive the day all over again because it was so amazing, and we will forever be hoping someone else we know gets married here so we can experience something similar again.”

She was extremely responsive to all our questions and concerns, and always made the effort to respond as soon as possible. The wedding industry and wedding planning process is so tough and stressful, but Angie went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of and she accommodated every concern and change we had. Not to mention, the food & drinks were amazing! Our guests still rave about the food and cocktails they were served, and every person says that the food and drinks were the best they've ever had at a wedding, which is super high praise! “We had the perfect dinner for about 20 people in the private greenhouse at Casa Ora. My wife is Venezuelan and her half of the table were Spanish-speakers, while my half were not. They served us in both languages effortlessly. They set up a beautiful space, best outdoor seating room I’ve experienced in NYC even in the winter. The service was outstanding, and the food and drinks were delicious. The Venezuelan side gave everything their stamp of approval, and the other side loved everything they tried. As a vegetarian, I can vouch for the vegan and vegetarian options too.
