When we booked Toby, we knew we were in good hands. Toby's communication style is responsive, laidback, and easy, which put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of the wedding, Toby and his videographer were a pleasure to work with - he made us feel comfortable and captured everything we were hoping for, including the little moments that we'll be able to cherish for a lifetime. Toby accommodated me when I changed my mind months after booking to add the video package. We received our stunning sneak peek photos just 12 hours after the wedding ended, which was an incredible turnaround. Overall, Toby Ogden Photography & Film exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for a passionate, talented, and easygoing wedding photographer and videographer.

Khoa Photography
Rating: 5.0 (15 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Rancho Santa Fe, CA

Hi there! I'm Khoa, a San Diego based wedding photographer who enjoys spending time with good people and road trips. I love all things weddings because witnessing couples' happiness brings me joy and fuels my creativity. I want to create photographs that can stand the test of time so couples can relive their day years from now and for generations to come.

Khoa was our wedding photographer from getting ready until the end of the night and we had an amazing experience with him the entire time! He is incredibly sweet and easy to work with, and made us feel very comfortable from the get-go. He was very thoughtful and thorough in using all aspects of our venue to provide amazing photos capturing the whole day. He worked very efficiently with us leading up to the ceremony to get us photos while still keeping us hidden away from our arriving guests, and then, during the ceremony and reception, he was amazingly unobtrusive but still able to capture all the great moments of our night! Khoa sent us a few preliminary photos which were all so perfect for personalizing our thank you cards. Once we got the full complement of photos from him we were blown away by the quality, editing, and energy he was able to capture from our wedding day. He is immensely generous with the number of photos he provides, and we have to stress that he somehow manages to deliver on both quantity AND quality. He is also very talented in composition and there were more than several photos that we never noticed him getting - everything perfectly captured the energy and feeling of the day and felt like we were reliving it again. Overall he feels like the complete package and we recommend him without hesitation!!!

I’m here to capture nostalgic memories and help you remember the emotions behind the photos. I love capturing those truly candid moments. The kind of photos that put you right back in the moment five, ten, fifty years later. I'm a Southern California based photographer that will travel wherever you want to document your love! I'm constantly exploring with laid-back couples that want to capture genuine moments about their relationship. When I'm not taking pictures, you can usually find me hanging out with my loved ones, hiking, watching sitcoms, or taking a spontaneous trip.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved working with Emily! She was so responsive and really made us feel so much less anxious over the photography for the wedding ! The guide and photo planning document she shared in the lead up really helped us make a game plan prior to wedding day. We got every photo we wanted and then some. Our recommendation is to go in with a few must haves and then just trust Emily to do what she does best. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

Hi there! I'm Kayla, and I'm so glad you're here! I've spent the past six years capturing love, beauty, and joy across Southern California. Photography has been my passion since I was five, and turning it into a career has been the most rewarding journey. One of my clients shared: "The pictures came out beautiful and had my mom in tears. Kayla made us all feel so comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again." If you’re looking for someone to capture your special moments, I’d love to help you create memories that last a lifetime!

Awarded Best of Zola
Kayla was absolutely amazing to work with! From the moment she arrived, her sweet and bubbly personality made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured our wedding day so beautifully…every emotion, every moment, and all the little details we might have missed in the chaos of the day. I’m so obsessed with her flat lays and how she incorporated our special keepsakes. I had mentioned wanting my colors to really pop, and she captured them perfectly! Her eye for detail is incredible, and she somehow managed to make every photo feel natural yet timeless. The turnaround time was so quick… we received a sneak peek soon after the wedding, which made us even more excited for the full gallery. Kayla also brought along a second shooter who was just as wonderful, and together they didn’t miss a single moment. We’re beyond grateful to have these photos to look back on forever. I couldn’t recommend Kayla enough to any couple looking for someone who not only takes beautiful photos but also brings such warmth and joy to their day.

Enlightened Scorpio Studio was an absolute pleasure to work with for our photography. From the very beginning, their communication was prompt, friendly, and highly professional. We love the beautiful photos that captured our day, especially the ones at the beach - Katie must have taken over 1,000 pictures to make sure she got every moment just right! They came to us with lots of great ideas but were also very open to our own wishes and suggestions, which was so appreciated. The final photos are stunning and we couldn't be happier. Enlightened Scorpio Studio truly helped make our day perfect.

I was raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. I was drawn to photography in middle school and would enter photos of our family pets or family backpacking trips in our local county fair. My passion for photography grew while working as a hiking guide in Yosemite National Park. I mean… who wouldn’t want a stunning photo of Half Dome? El Capitan? Yosemite Falls? But it has been photographing wedding and couples that I find the most fun and rewarding. I have found loving hearts, wild souls, and adventurous spirits to be my people. I strive to visually capture the “spirit” of my subjects and record an emotional memory of the occasion.

Hey there! I'm Linda. San Diego wedding and portrait photographer. I've been photographing weddings for 8 years and have loved every minute of it. I'd love to chat with you and share how I can help you get the best possible images on your special day while giving you a great experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the pleasure of working with Linda for our elopement, and she exceeded all expectations in every way possible. From the moment we booked her, the process was incredibly easy and user-friendly. The booking system was straightforward, and I immediately felt confident in our choice. Her communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. She was in constant touch with us, especially when it came to the venue. Not only did she provide guidance and suggestions, but she also took the initiative to visit the site earlier in the week to scout locations with the best lighting and backdrops. Her attention to detail made the day go smoothly. Our elopement took an unexpected turn when it ended up being filmed for the news, causing us to go overtime. Despite the extended hours, Linda stayed well past her scheduled time and even took stunning photos of our interviews. Her dedication to capturing every moment, even the unplanned ones, was above and beyond. With her extensive experience with elopements, particularly at the San Diego courthouse, she had a deep understanding of the best timing and locations for photos, which made everything flow effortlessly. Her knowledge truly helped us maximize our time and get the most out of our special day. On top of her professionalism and expertise, she was a delight to work with. She brought a warm and calm energy to the day, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Her price point was also very reasonable for the level of service she provided. Without a doubt, I would book her again for any future events and highly recommend her to all my friends. If you're looking for a skilled, dedicated, and genuinely wonderful photographer for your elopement, Jalea Photography is the one!

I’ve been happily married for almost 27 years. I have three awesome sons. My parakeets Kiwi and Sparky are very social, meaning very loud! Champagne (maybe that’s why I love weddings) and sushi lover here! Photography has been my passion ever since my dad gave me my first film camera and introduced me to the dark room at age of 10. I lived in Japan for 12 years, and even performed on a stage there. I’m always up for a great road trip! I love tuna fishing. I love hats and want to wear them everyday (over 20 hats in my collection). I’ve been shooting beautiful weddings for almost 10 years. I secretly cry at every wedding.

I've never been so excited to review somebody in my entire life!!! We were so lucky to have Irina as our photographer. I cannot say enough how important it is that your photographer on your wedding day is just as wonderful as a person as she is a professional at what she does. A good photographer makes you feel comfortable and effortless behind the camera. Posing parents, siblings, wedding parties, flower girls, ring bearers, and the bride and groom coming together perfectly in a crazy short amount of time? You feel like it’s IMPOSSIBLE. It’s not! I’ve heard that weddings are always not on time. The truth is it’s more worth. The rings may be forgotten, the very important guest is being extremely late, and a lot of other reasons. Irina was super patient, she captured each and every photo I wanted without me even having to make sure that she did it. Her creativity, eye for perfection, and professionalism are unbelievable. The wedding day does by so fast, and it's important to have all the moments captured. My now husband and I could not have chosen a better photographer. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how great our photographer was. Irina introduced herself to every guest and family member at the wedding and made sure she got every guests’ picture which we are so grateful! We had so many out of state guests and wanted to remember every moment with them on our best day. If you are looking for pricing that makes sense, photographer who cares about the quality, your happiness on your wedding day, and feeling confident throughout that entire day and every time you look at pictures afterwards, then look no further!

I am really passionate about my job. I love meeting and connecting with people. Making them laugh and having fun during the photo session is one of my main purposes. I love when clients they tell me they don't like to have their pictures taken, that is a challenge; and I promise I will change their minds. When you put your heart and soul in what you do, everything comes naturally.

Despite COVID making us change plans constantly, YC photography with Yrsina made it less stressful to plan and a no brainer to use her for our special day. She will fight for that perfect shot, telling random people strolling by to step to the side or get out the shot while still being professional. She is a joy to work with and will make sure to capture your memories to look back on for years to come.

Hi, I'm Mikayla! I am a: Newlywed Dog Mom Firefighter Paramedic Founder of Ever After Content Co. Like many brides, I spent months planning every detail. I booked an amazing photographer, florist, venue, and all the vendors that helped bring our day to life. But there was one thing I didn't think about: capturing the candid, in between moments. Those memories are just as meaningful as the posed photos. If I could do one thing differently, I would have hired a content creator to capture those behind the scenes moments and deliver them quickly so I could relive the magic right away. That's exactly why I started Ever After Content Co.

Working with Ever After Content Co. was such a great choice for our wedding. The photographer stayed in touch throughout the planning process and showed up ready to capture our day with a clear vision. What really stood out was getting photos and videos from angles I couldn't see myself because I was caught up in all the moments happening around me. Her work is beautiful and consistent, and honestly, the quality felt worth every penny. She's genuinely kind and focused on delivering great work without any pressure or pushiness about reviews. We couldn't be happier with what she created for us.

For as long as I can remember, I've always had a camera in hand. The past 10 years I’ve lived my dream being a professional photographer and documenting my couples journey together. The images I take for you will be so much more than just photos on a feed, and I am passionate about creating an experience that you will never forget. Your love is so beautifully unique, and deserves to be celebrated. If you’re about genuine connection, laid back romance, and getting in touch with your weird and wild side, chances are we’re going to be best of friends.

Sean and I were so lucky and grateful to have Moriel photograph our Tuscan elopement!! From initial conversations, to the days of our elopement, Moriel was so effortless to talk with and made the photography aspect of our elopement planning seamless. She accommodated calls prior to our elopement, working around the Australia/USA time difference and helped narrow down ideas and styles and venues we were unsure about. She made choosing a photographer from another country feel so easy. Moriel understood our vision perfectly and brought us clarity in all the stress of wedding/elopement planning. She made us feel so comfortable around her that when it came time for our elopement days, it felt like we were just catching up with a friend. This made being in front of the camera so easy and stress-free, even my husband, who normally hates taking photos, had so much fun and we both look back so fondly at the day. After the elopement, were already so excited to see our photos and OH MY GOSH DID THEY DELIVER!!! From sneak peaks to the full gallery, we couldn’t be happier! Our photos captured every bit of magic felt in the day and more. Moriel is so very talented, her execution of our vision and her overall style came through so beautifully in our photos. She combined editorial and classic styles with elements of dark/moody and artistic wedding photography, melding all of this into one. We are beyond ecstatic and honestly just smile every time we look at the pictures from our elopement. I wish we could go back and do it all again! Thank you so much Moriel, Sean and I were so lucky to have met your and had you as a part of our special day and will never get over your talent and artistry. We could not recommend anyone else!!!

I knew right then and there that she was going to be our person! Jonathan and I are not a photogenic couple, we are awkward and hate being the center of attention. We met Lauren and Toby the day of our wedding and automatically felt comfortable. I had a little mishap with my dress and cannot thank Lauren enough for her patience in waiting for my dress to get fixed. Shaun takes the most gorgeous photos while capturing the authenticity and emotion behind the wedding day! After being part of several wedding parties with overly-posed photos, we knew we wanted a photographer who captures the real moments, facial expressions, and joy of a wedding day. Shaun did all of that and more! The photos turned out absolutely incredible, he has an amazing personality and has a way to put anyone in front of the camera at ease. Not only that, half the time we forgot the cameras were even there, which meant we got to be in the moment at our wedding and soak it all in. Now the only problem is figuring out which of the photos to print as canvas wall art because there are so many good ones!

My inspiration comes from my time spent in stunning landscapes from the sea to the mountains. I love capturing real moments through photography. I have over 10+ years of photography experience and love working couples to tell their unique stories. I am originally from Dallas, Texas, but based in Portland, Oregon and San Diego. I went to film school at the University of Texas in Austin. Besides having a camera in hand, I enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, surfing, drinking kombucha, painting, singing, and traveling.

As the Mother of the Bride, i cannot say enough about Helen, our wedding photographer. When my daughter and her husband researched photographers, they were drawn to Helen's photos and her editing skills. And the fact that she was competitively but reasonably priced was a plus. During the planning process she was very accessible, and answered emails with complete and clear information. She is a warm and friendly person, but at the same time very professional. She had several virtual meetings with the bride and groom, and took care of every detail so that by the big day, we knew what to expect. During the wedding and reception, Helen was there to get the best shots without ever being in anyone's way. She emailed some beautiful shots after a few days, and then it only took three weeks to get the entire portfolio sent back to us! The newlyweds are absolutely in love with their photos. These pictures captured feelings and emotions, as well as wonderful visions of a perfect day. The wedding was at TImberline/Mt. Hood, and since Helen is a master of nature photography, the end result was perfect. I cannot recommend Anchor and Pine Collective enough!

As a documentary wedding photographer, I’m here to capture your day exactly as it unfolds—real, unposed, and full of heart. Whether you're getting married in San Diego or halfway across the world, I focus on the honest moments that make your story yours. With a blend of film and digital, I craft galleries that feel timeless, cinematic, and true to the day.

Teresa was so great to work with! We booked her as our wedding photographer, and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Leading up to the wedding, the process was extremely easy and clear. Teresa was always prompt in answering emails and happy to jump on a FaceTime call to discuss any questions or talk through the day ahead of time. We already thought she had a beautiful portfolio, and when talking together, she understood the vision of telling the story of the day through an artistic and romantic lens. On the day, she was super easy to work with, and when the timeline ran long due to other factors, she stayed calm and we figured out a way to rework the timeline to get what we needed. We felt very comfortable with her, and she helped direct us into some poses to get some amazing shots. We received our sneak peeks just about a week later and were blown away. Friends and family said they looked like they were out of Vogue or Vanity Fair. We're so excited to see the rest, and would definitely recommend!

I am a full-time wedding photographer based in San Diego and first things first, I want you to know your wedding is a huge deal to me. As your wedding photographer, I'm your ultimate third-well and your right-hand-woman. I’m like your bridesmaid / groomslady with a camera. More than just a hired vendor, I’ll be your cheerleader, encourager, organizer, drink-getter, and the gal screaming “YAYYYY" because I’m so excited about the awesome photos we’re creating together. With the experience, knowledge, and expertise of photographing nearly 300 weddings, I am here with you every step of the way. Can’t wait to be along this journey with you!!!

Stop looking for photographers - you’ve found the best one!! Here’s why: 1. She’s a tremendously talented photographer. Kami does her research, keeps you relaxed/comfortable, and is super creative. She was extremely prepared for our engagement shoot and on our wedding day and achieved amazing results (look at her albums). On our wedding day, she positioned herself thoughtfully, and respectfully. 2. Kami is a true professional, super fun and keeps it light. She brings amazingly positive energy, is fun to be around (an absolute bundle of joy) and has a higher level of emotional intelligence than anyone we know. She made us so comfortable in our pictures which reflected in how much we loved how they turned out. 3. Kami is a leader in both her field and as a person. If you could create a perfect photographer (and person) to go through a pandemic with, it would be her. Throughout some of the most difficult times of the COVID-19 crisis, she was calm, empathetic and so committed to making sure we were doing well, even when we had to reschedule, etc. We talked to her multiple times about our situation and she not only made us feel better afterwards, but feel on top of the world. She was with us at the worst moments and of course at the best (our 7 person wedding). Take a second to reflect on the impact that the COVID-19 crisis had on photographers. 4. Kami is a great communicator. Always proactive, respectful, and timely You learn a little bit about a person during the good times, but you truly learn about a person through the worst of times. We’ve known Kami over the last 1.5 years including through the COVID-19 pandemic and have learned about how she is an amazing photographer (again look at her albums!!), but more importantly an amazing person. She will be with you through it all. Congratulations on finding your photographer (and likely a great friend)!

We hired Studio Vieren for our wedding day and it was the best decision we made! We can't say enough good things about Tara. From beginning to end — Tara was warm, kind, attentive, and truly passionate about her art and work. It is evident that she cares so much about what she does, as well as the couples she works with. She gives her all to ensure a truly wonderful and special experience. To begin, our consultation with her went amazingly. As soon as we started speaking with her, there was no question that she would be the artist to capture our wedding day. Not only was she a great listener (often later remembering the tiniest detail mentioned during this initial meeting that took place before we even hired her), but the love she has for making wedding days beautiful shone through. We initially found her and were captivated by her cinematic, warm, romantic, and in-the-moment style, and we were only further convinced to hire her by her lovely personality and the passion she showed us in that initial consultation. Once we hired her, Tara only kept impressing us. Throughout the entire planning process, she was always organized, prepared, detail-oriented, available, and creative. Every step of the process was clearly outlined for us and she always put our needs first while ensuring she would be able to deliver the vision we were hoping for. On the wedding day, Tara was nothing short of an angel. Not only did she excel in her own role as documentarian extraordinaire, but she also stepped up to help us navigate the day when our day-of-coordinator wasn't meeting expectations. She went above and beyond — making us feel taken care of and at ease (as much as a bride can be on her wedding day, haha). So many of our guests even went out of their way to tell us how outstanding they thought she was. She showed an unwavering commitment to ensuring that our day was unforgettable. And once we received the photos and film (which she delivered in a timely manner) — just wow! Everything turned out so beautifully. Tara captured our wedding day (the big and little moments alike) with so much warmth and magic. Seeing her incredible work allowed my husband and I to relive the day, and appreciate and love it more than we thought we could. Tara has such a gift and we can't thank her enough for everything she did for us.
