Hey hey! I’m Tara — your wedding-day hype girl, calm-in-the-chaos, and the one behind the lens. I’m so glad you’re here. Photographing love stories is truly the joy of my life. I’ve been doing this for over a decade (wild!), and I still get butterflies every time I show up to witness two people say yes to forever. What I care about most is making you feel at ease. The real kind — where you’re belly-laughing, teary-eyed, and fully in the moment with your person. That’s where the magic lives. My role is to help you drop in, relax, and let it unfold naturally.

    Tara is unbelievable!

    Tara was our dream photographer on our wedding day! I felt like I had known her my whole life when I met her and as though she were a close friend on our wedding day. She listened well to our vision and we were so happy with the photos we captured! I would recommend her to anyone as she was so incredible to work with!

    The MOST incredible photographer

    If I have the option to work with Tara, that is who I will hire to second for me, without a doubt. I have literally flown her to locations where I didn't "have" to because she really is so lovely to work with. I know I don't need to manage Tara at all, she know how to get the photographs that the clients are dreaming of without being intrusive or overhearing. She is professional, and kind, and so fun to be around. I wish 2020 weddings were happening just so we could shoot together, dang it Corona.

I take a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Once I receive your deposit and your signed contract, I’m all yours!
Yep! Several of my packages include engagement sessions and they can be booked separately. I like to include them because I think they are a great way for us all to get to know one another and get comfortable around the camera!
I will definitely consult with you about how to best lay out the wedding day so that we have plenty of time for pictures and all the other good stuff. Making sure we know when the optimal times for portraits are and making sure you have adequate time to soak up the day are my top priorities!
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my 7 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
I have packages that include assistant photographers. I recommend going with one of these packages if you're planning on having a wedding with over 100 guests.
Yes! After many years of searching, I have finally found a printing company that I trust with such an important heirloom. I work with you to custom design your photo album before sending it to production, where it will be hand sewn and printed on archival paper, with ink that will withstand the test of time.
