I’m here to capture nostalgic memories and help you remember the emotions behind the photos. I love capturing those truly candid moments. The kind of photos that put you right back in the moment five, ten, fifty years later. I'm a Southern California based photographer that will travel wherever you want to document your love! I'm constantly exploring with laid-back couples that want to capture genuine moments about their relationship. When I'm not taking pictures, you can usually find me hanging out with my loved ones, hiking, watching sitcoms, or taking a spontaneous trip.

My ultimate goal has been to always serve my clients in any way that I can and to connect with my couples while photographing the beautifully imperfect moments. I like to take a documentary style approach by letting things happen naturally with a little bit of prompting. Along with capturing the obvious (you two and your love), I also really love to incorporate the small details, the landscape, and the emotions within your photos. Overall, I want you to love the experience in front of the camera as much as you love the final photos at the end of it - while giving you all the sentimental memories within your photos.

    A dream engagement session

    Emily was truly a dream to work with during our engagement session. From brainstorming photo locations to fit with the theme of our wedding, to outfit inspiration, to timing to utilize the best lighting... she was on top of it all. We were blown away by the quality of our photos, both on film and digital. We had such variety of photos to choose from (settings, poses, lighting, angles) etc. One of our biggest insecurities was looking comfortable in front of the camera and not too "posed". Emily was wonderful a guiding us behind the camera and giving us prompts to make the photos feel natural and genuine. I cannot recommend her enough! Plus, we wanted to incorporate our new puppy into the photoshoot and Emily gave us all the tips and guidance to make sure that went smoothly! The extra photos with the pup are just perfect!

    We loved working with Emily! She was so responsive and really made us feel so much less anxious over the photography for the wedding ! The guide and photo planning document she shared in the lead up really helped us make a game plan prior to wedding day. We got every photo we wanted and then some. Our recommendation is to go in with a few must haves and then just trust Emily to do what she does best. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

I'm currently based out of San Diego, California (North County) and YES I absolutely travel.
Woohoo I cannot wait to work with you!! For weddings and elopements, I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee to book your date. The final payment is due four weeks before your wedding. Payment plans are available.
YES 100%! Most people feel that way in front of the camera, so firstly, know you're not alone! I shoot people by giving prompts in attempts of catching you more natural looking, rather than awkward posing, and simply directing you when needed. Just remember, it is my job to make you look good! You just have to show up and be excited to capture these memories, and leave the rest up to me.
Nope! I'll go wherever you want to take your pictures for your wedding/elopement/bridals/engagement photos.
It includes gas money or my plane ticket depending on the location, potential permits needed depending on the location, and 2 nights in a hotel for domestic travel if the venue is more than 4 hours from my house or 3 nights for international travel.
Yes! I only ask that you tag me on Facebook (@Emily Morgan Photos) or Instagram @emilymorganphotos_. If you're using your images on a website, please credit me and put a link to my website.
You can expect 50-75 final hand-edited images per hour of coverage!
Nope! I don't send any un-edited or RAW files! Most of the magic happens during the editing process, so without that step your photos are only halfway done.
For weddings and elopements, you'll get your photos back in 6-8 weeks. For engagement sessions, you'll get your photos back in 3-4 weeks.
I've been into photography since high school, but would consider myself a professional photographer since 2018.
