Our work kicked off together during an engagement shoot at Coney Island. She went above and beyond-driving 5 hours from the Hudson Valley to meet us at our dream location. We spent the night together, and she never made us feel like we were on the clock. Jess is truly so generous with her time. Our wedding day was of course, even more special. Taking photos with my husband, Jess, and her brilliant second shooter were some of the best moments of our day. When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. I wanted honest, documentary-style moments captured without noticing the presence of the photographer. He was there when you needed him and you liked him. “Short story long. We got married in September 2025 on a bright and somewhat cloudy day in a Historic Lodge in Hudson Valley. Nina was our ONLY photographer that day. I don't know too much about photography, but I do know that on our wedding day the lighting in the building and the grounds was varied and difficult to navigate. I highlight this because the photos that Nina captured and edited were BEYOND SPECTACULAR. Aside from being extremely talented, she was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the day.
