“If you’re a music nerd with very particular opinions about music, hiring a DJ can feel like a terrifying leap of faith. Scott didn’t just meet my standards, he absolutely exceeded them. I had carefully planned our cocktail and dinner playlist, only to realize in real time that it was completely missing the mood. Scott gently checked in and asked if I wanted to adjust course, and I was SO relieved he did. He saved the mood, the vibe, the whole thing. From there, he expertly read our crowd, using just a handful of song requests guests had submitted with their RSVPs to curate an absolutely perfect night of bangers. Our dance floor was packed basically the entire evening. People weren’t just dancing, they were genuinely feeling the music and having an incredible time. Scott understood our crowd in a way that honestly felt like magic. He was also kind, attentive, and incredibly sensitive to the more personal parts of our wedding, including navigating the fact that our Father-Daughter dance had to be removed from the plans after my father passed away during our wedding planning. He handled those moments with genuine compassion and professionalism. It was clear from start to finish that Scott cared deeply about giving us an exceptional experience. He worked within our budget, brought an enormous amount of expertise to the table, and was worth every single penny. The picture I’m including is at the end of the night after most of the guests had gone home—the bridal party crew & my father-in-law stayed late because we were having such a great time bopping and Scott kept the night going despite the fact that 95% of the guests had gone home. It was one of the funnest parts of the night—we had a blast letting loose on the dance floor and enjoying every last beat right to the end. I would hire Scott again in a heartbeat for any future DJ or emcee role, and I would recommend him without hesitation. I do not put my name behind recommendations lightly, and I can say with complete confidence: hire Scott. He was one of the most integral reasons our wedding evening turned out as spectacularly as it did.”

“Now for the details: Brandon, Kellie, Elmer, and Becky were excellent to work with. They were communicative throughout the entire process and even sent monthly checklists to ensure the wedding planning timeline was ironed out and reminded you of the small details that most folks forget about. It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. “Todd did an amazing job at our wedding! We were looking for an acoustic guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour and his sound was perfect. He is incredibly easy going and I felt perfectly safe leaving the cocktail hour set list in his hands. He understood the vibe we were going for and just ran with it. “I used M2M for DJ and photobooth services, and they did an amazing job! DJ Jerz and DJ Coria had great communication with me through out the planning process in order to deliver my vision. DJ Jerz kept the dancefloor packed, read the energy in the reception perfectly, and even made reminder announcements for my guests to check out my audio guestbook. During the ceremony, DJ Jerz timed the processional perfectly and provided audio/mics for our readers and our officiant (it was outdoors but you could still hear everyone clearly!!). Jeremiah, our photobooth attendant, was so fun and sweet! He even helped accommodate some larger groups that wanted to get in the photobooth together. There was a small issue in getting the printer set up for the photobooth, but I strongly believe that was our fault since it was outside and wiring everything up was a nightmare, but Jeremiah wasn't phased and still delivered excellent service. I highly recommend M2M for your special day!!”

“DJ Charlie was calm and honest throughout the process. He was very clear about what he needed in terms of music line up based on our timeline of events. He gave us suggestions based on his experiences with other weddings and was flexible. The planning was a bit rocky because the timelines needed to line up. Which ours did not. So please be careful and make sure that your wedding timeline and the DJ’s contract timeline match. Since ours didn’t match up and there weren’t any events that could have been edited out, we had to pay for an extra hour. The extra hour was worth it because we were able to fit everything we wanted to do at our wedding. DJ Charlie was able to keep us on time throughout the wedding from ceremony to the end of the reception. He gave the bridal party special queue instructions to keep in time with the ceremony music. Though it would have been nice to have music playing in the ballroom and the reception tent while dinner was happening. The music selection had a good mix of what we asked for. Though the specific songs that we wanted for the party dance weren’t played. At the end of the night, it didn’t matter as it was a four-hour event and a good portion of the guests had to leave early. He was considerate of the people on the dance floor and even played rumba songs for my great aunt and uncle who were dancing a rumba number. The lighting set up was great. The pin lights were placed in the right areas in the ballroom and reception tent, and it really livened the place up. There were also moving ceiling projection lights, which really made up for the wall projection that we didn’t have time to set up. Overall, we would recommend DJ Charlie for any special event.”

“I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“Highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a DJ! He was easy to work with and sent over an extensive questionnaire to fill out. We were able to create Spotify playlists and include them in the questionnaire for easy referencing of our preferred music tastes. The music is what I was most worried about during wedding planning as I didn’t want to play typical wedding music, but Jeremy came through and played all our favorite songs and more, and even complimented our indie music taste! Transitions were smooth and announcements weren’t over the top. As introverts, he also made sure we were comfortable and made sure not to prolong our first dance any longer than we wanted.”
