“Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. “Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. There was one particular transition between two songs that was the best we've ever heard, and the crowd LOVED it. We’re over a month out from the big day and people are still telling us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Korey was also accommodating with requests and announcements during the reception ensuring dinner ran smoothly before dancing began. “CJ was a life saver for our wedding! Starting with meeting him for the first time, he was super understanding and helped guide us with what our ideal wedding sounded like. He was super approachable and responsive to our questions. When we sent him our playlists for what we wanted him to play he went over each song and made sure he had the correct song by the correct artist which was super helpful. Now for where he saved our wedding! Our venue made a mistake of using our props for a wedding the night before but when CJ found out, he offered to use his cold sparks for us which was absolutely amazing! He kept the party alive and the fun flowing! We had so many guests come up to us during and after asking us if where we found CJ and loved his work. CJ made the soundtrack of our best day ever amazing.”
