“We loved Blenheim Hill farm when we first saw it, which was under a foot of fresh snow, but when we returned for our wedding day (8/1/26) and saw everything in bloom we loved it even more. The place is beautiful, remote and relaxing. There are no sounds of traffic and the views are incredible. When guests starting arriving on Friday night everybody just kept asking us “where did you find this place??” Its truly beautiful! An idyllic place to get married. The Farmhouse, where we had close family stay for the weekend, is charming and comfortable. The kids loved playing with the goats, exploring and swimming in the lake. The adults relaxed and walked the property. The staff were helpful and fantastic the entire time. Leading up to the wedding, the venue had an online portal that organized lots of our wedding details which helped immensely with planning. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The food for the rehearsal dinner, wedding night, and brunch were all fantastic. They went above and beyond what most people expect when attending a wedding. Many people told us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. In fact, many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! (We agree) A side note, we were worried about guests finding accommodations for the wedding, but everyone had a pretty easy time finding AirBNBs/local bed and breakfasts really close by. When we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we heard many people say your wedding is “just one day,” but it really is much more than that: it's the months of planning leading up to it and all the times you think back on it in the years to come too. We really enjoyed doing all the wedding planning with Blenheim's help and the wedding weekend was perfect. We will cherish the memories of our wedding for the rest of our lives. We’re sad that it's over, but if you want to invite us to your wedding so we can go back, we accept!”

Why you'll love this venue

  • Feels like a getaway
  • Provides catering services
  • Promotes a party atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • On-site parking not available
  • Not for you if you don't want a rustic vibe
“Choosing to have our wedding at Camp Timber Lake was probably the single most important decision we made during the planning process. The camp setting gave us the opportunity to create something far more immersive, personal, and joyful than we had imagined, and the camp / Gatheround staff and everyone involved in the planning process gave us the ability to execute on making all our dreams come true! In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Will, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and on top of every detail. He always made time to talk through our many questions and helped accommodate some of our more unconventional requests—from having Camp Timber Lake cater our Sunday reception dinner (which we highly recommend!) to brainstorming the best locations for a nighttime game of kick the can. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly manicured for our arrival. There were endless activities for our guests to enjoy, and the staff placed sports equipment throughout the property so everyone could immediately jump into whatever interested them. Our guests had so much fun exploring the grounds, tossing frisbees and footballs, shooting hoops, and making the camp their own for the weekend. The staff including Reggie, Scott, Liz, Willow, Marcie, and so many others, were AMAZING. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special. Scott and Liz stayed on top of every detail, and the entire team continually went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. When one of our guests lost her phone in the dining hall after hours, the team turned the lights back on and helped her search for it. After she mentioned that she was having trouble turning on the heat in her cabin, they walked over to help, then returned 15 minutes later with brownies and ice cream for her and her cabin-mates as a nice surprise. Another favorite moment happened on the dance floor Saturday night. We had brought bubble guns but realized too late that they required batteries we didn’t have. We’d given up on using them, but when Willow (one of the camp staff) overheard a friend say, “I wish we had batteries for these bubble guns.” he went and tracked down batteries from TV remotes around the camp on his own accord and got the bubble guns working. They ended up being a huge hit! Moments like these, and so many others, made us feel completely at home and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. The food was also outstanding. We received rave reviews about every meal. The team went out of its way to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, providing hearty vegan and vegetarian options at every meal. They even prepared a special plate every meal for my mom, who has an autoimmune disorder that prevents her from eating most spices. The team also decorated dishes with edible flowers and made everything look beautiful. For our reception dinner on the final night, they even came up with the idea of displaying leftover Boy Scout patches from one of our weekend activities along the buffet counter. It was the perfect thoughtful touch. We had multiple guests tell us that this was their favorite wedding they had ever attended, and Camp Timber Lake (and the wonderful people who run it) were a huge reason why. Thank you for giving us and our guests such a magical, joyful, and unforgettable weekend. It truly was the best weekend of our lives! Can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

“There is something so magical about Roxbury, NY and the Inn at West Settlement and that is in part due to Kim, Danny, and their team. We recently got married at the Inn and it was a day we'll never forget. Kim made the planning process so smooth from answering questions, providing recommendations, and working with vendors. The day before - getting to arrange flowers with kim and members of the bridal party was a very special moment I'll cherish forever. The day of - Kim and her team helped shuttle guests to the top of the hill and when it started unexpectedly raining kim, danny and the team had faith - waited it out and we were able to proceed with the ceremony as soon as the rain stopped. During the reception Kim and Danny navigated dinner service and helped seamlessly provide our guests with a dinner they will not soon forget. Danny was a pivotal member in helping the day run smoothly - from helping with parking to rising to the challenge when things needed being done. We cannot thank kim and the staff enough for an experience like no other. Our guests can't stop raving about the place!”

“We are absolutely at a loss for words to describe how incredible our wedding at Plattekill Mountain was. From the moment we pulled up to the venue, we knew this place was something truly special. The breathtaking scenery alone sets the stage for a magical day, but what really makes Plattekill stand out is the incredible team behind it. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives. If you're browsing venues and Plattekill has caught your eye, stop looking. This is the strongest recommendation I will ever give. Not only will you have no regrets, but it will be the most beautiful, joyful, and unforgettable day of your life. We will be forever grateful for the memories we made at Plattekill Mountain and can’t wait to return to relive the magic for years to come.”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding at Windham Manor in the fall! The property is stunning, and the views are gorgeous, especially in the early autumn. We got married in the Enchanted Forest, had cocktail hour on the lawn, and our reception in the barn. Everything flowed seamlessly and with 110 guests, the layout was perfect. Although Windham is a small town, it’s easy for guests to find places to stay and things to explore. We did our rehearsal dinner in town and hosted our Sunday brunch at the on-site house. Susan and Barry were wonderful, checking in with us and giving us time to settle in on Thursday. They also offered a variety of decor items such as candles, vases, runners, etc., which made setting up our reception easy and stress-free. We stayed with our wedding party at the house onsite and this really helped make our weekend extra special. We loved having our wedding party with us to hang out and catch up, and to facilitate our after party. Our house manager, Karen, was incredible. She was extremely thoughtful, attentive, and always anticipating what we needed. She checked in throughout the day with even small things like water, coffee, or food. She helped the weekend feel calm and effortless. From the moment we first visited, we knew Windham Manor was our number one choice and it did not disappoint!”

We not only rented the 3 cabins on the property, but we also put up glamping tents near the cabins. We had 32 people staying here for 3 nights and 4 days. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch the day after the wedding under a beautiful tent alongside the lake. It was breathtaking. “Wedding Date: 10/25/2025 When we first were looking for wedding venues, our vision was to have a wedding week where all our family and friends could feel like they were on vacation. We wanted a place that provided accommodations for our bridal party on the same property as the ceremony site and reception hall. Stonewall Estate delivered on all fronts. The Estate House, which accommodated our entire bridal party, sat at the top of the hill with breathtaking views of the hills/mountains. It also allowed the entire bridal party to bond over the course of the wedding week, and we had so many fun moments in that house. The ceremony site was beautiful with the autumn mountains as the backdrop. Although it was a bit cold, Stonewall provided a cold weather package that included hand warmers, blankets, and outdoor heaters for our guests. We also opted for the warm apple cider as a finishing touch! The reception space was a blank canvas and really allowed us to turn it into exactly what we had envisioned. The space was huge and allowed for us to accommodate a lot of guests, and incorporate so much of the furniture and decor Stonewall had to offer. The Stonewall property was more than satisfying for the wedding week, but then there’s the owners and staff who take it over the top. Melanie was so kind, helpful and supporting throughout the entire planning process. Answering our questions, providing her thoughts and ideas with regard to vendors, decor, and wedding day coordination. Stacy made sure our decor vision came to life. Steve ensured that everything, down to the tables and chairs, were exactly where they needed to be. The parking attendants, golf cart drivers, bartenders, all provided by Stonewall, were so kind and helpful on the wedding day. Suffice it to say, Stonewall Estate was the perfect place for us to spend our wedding week, and I will never forget all they did to make our wedding dreams come true. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about how much fun they had and how awesome the property is. We are seriously considering booking the property again, but this time for an anniversary vacation with our family and friends, just to relive the fun and positive vibes we had our wedding week.”

“This was the best night of my life. We chose to get married at the Rustic Ridge View Farm with Wally’s help in October and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to go. During the day, you get the magical views from the mountain side and at night you get to see the pavilion lit up with all of the lights and decorations. Truly a one of a kind experience. One of the best additions to the place is the fire pit for s’mores which Wally gladly takes care of. He’s very responsive and helps with anything you may need. If I could do it over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get married.”

Their communication throughout the process was eloquent, clear, and incredibly helpful as they guided us through the history and details of their beautiful property, and connected us with all the right third party vendors. The quality and value for money this property offers is unparalleled - the grounds are truly magical, with a sense of privacy, luxury, and spiritual connection to the scenic waterfront and private lake. We felt an incredible sense of peace on their sprawling, private land — only 1.5-2 hours from NYC — making it the perfect venue to get married for us. We are beyond grateful to Lea and Dov for helping make our special day so memorable. (Also, the main house and honeymoon suite are awesome, mountain chic!)”

“If anyone were to ask me what my favorite part of my wedding was I’d have to say “Black Walnut Farm!” What a remarkable experience it has been to work with Sarah, Jim, Lish, Lindsey, and of course, Miss Lilly! My partner and I didn’t even bother viewing another venue because we could instantly feel how special the BWF property was — we called 30 minutes after our tour and said we were ready for the contract and deposit. Even still Black Walnut Farm far exceeded our expectations! Everything about this venue is so thoughtfully curated and managed. There is just so much care and consideration that has gone into every inch of this very special place! My partner and I decided to have a “honeymoon” week during the week of the wedding; we chose to have the extended package where we stayed on the property just the two of us. Unwinding in front of the fireplace while playing chess and drinking wine was such a lovely way to relax the night before. The sunroom is the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding! After our wedding (in lieu of an after party) we just asked to have the hot tub ready for us, which was the best move ever! Most importantly, the BWF team were so kind and patient, cool and collected. In the face of some extreme family drama and chaotic spring weather they always rolled with the punches. I felt that I could trust them fully and always felt safe and cared for. I was not afraid to defer to their expertise in the midst of the chaos, and I do not regret any of those decisions! In fact, the backup rain plan ended up being better than the original plan! Thank you again, Black Walnut Farm. You have created something so very, very special and we will be eternally grateful!”

Our communication leading up to the event was also seamless and incredibly helpful, which took so much stress out of the planning process. Lundy Farm has truly become a special place for us. “Fortune Valley Manor was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, the team's communication was detailed, fast, and extremely organized. The gorgeous barn and property were exactly what we were looking for to blend our Tamil Brahmin (Hindu) wedding traditions with an Upstate New York barn feel. The wedding planning process was thorough, and Kerri and her team made sure our special day went smoothly, even studying our customs ahead of time. While wedding planning can be overwhelming at times, Fortune Valley Manor exceeded all of our needs and expectations to make our dream wedding a reality.”

“We had our wedding at The Arnold House on September 6, 2025, and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Literally every moment exceeded all expectations and I can’t stress enough that if I could give 1,000 stars I would. The grounds and spaces are absolutely breathtaking, from the ceremony sites to the reception areas, every corner of the property is filled with whimsy and wonder. Our photographer had an endless supply of amazing spots for photos throughout the weekend! Most people will tour the venue during the off season and believe me when I say it is worth the wait to see it in all its glory come summer/fall! The barn barely needs decorating, it's SO charming itself, the greenhouse is incredible with all its plants and life, the sunroom is the cutest spot ever, the outdoor ceremony sites are so magical with the trees, wildflowers and pond, the bluestone patio was perfect for our private first dance and the big circle meadow for ceremony or rehearsal dinner is literally straight out of a taylor swift music video. I was obsessed. But what makes The Arnold House so special is the people. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel completely at home and like family. And not like we were in their home but like they were in OUR home. They constantly reminded us that the property was ours for the weekend, our friends and family felt it and so did we. Will and Emily were by our side every step of the way — no request was ever too big, and their calm, caring presence made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Their level of customer service is something I’ve truly never seen. You know they’re good when guests that weren’t even involved in the process were naming them and singing their praises. Rita and Lori brought such energy and kindness behind the bar and during late-night festivities; they made sure every guest felt welcome and cared for with amazing cocktails and conversation just such a blast! Also cannot get through this without stating that our guests are still raving about the food — Brittany is an incredible chef, and we heard over and over again that this was the best wedding meal they had ever had. And you know it’s true when they’re calling out dishes by name “OMG the horseradish sauce on the steak? Those crispy brussels? And the whipped feta?” Every bite was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully presented and felt super personal and not at all cookie cutter. And cannot leave out John who greeted everyone with such warmth and attentiveness, all the way through to our final morning when he made us a farewell breakfast that was so sweet and such a thoughtful send off. In general there wasn’t a thing that felt cookie cutter about my wedding because they made me feel like I had full autonomy over the weekend and it really showed. I really wanted my wedding to feel unique and Arnold House not only allowed for that but encouraged it every step of the way. Seriously every single space at The Arnold House radiates happiness and love, but it’s the people who make it truly extraordinary. Bottom line if rustic modern is your vibe HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. I toured multiple places and no one compared from then til now. My husband, our parents, our bridal parties, and guests all could not stop raving about every aspect of arnold house. It is truly a magical place with incredible people who want nothing more than to help make all your dreams come true. And I can honestly say they did and then some. THANK YOU!”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

“We had our wedding reception at Pine Ridge Farms and what a magical and unforgettable experience we had! You can see the Catskill Mountains from the property and the views are breathtaking. The owner, Ms. Gioja was truly wonderful and she made the planning process seamless for us. Which was so important, because it was my first time and she was patient and so very accommodating. It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you're thinking about having your event at Pine Ridge Farms, you will not regret it!!!”

“My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm, and despite some unexpected rain, it was truly the best day ever! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the venue. The mountains, the ponds, the charming farm (and adorable goats)—it was all picture perfect. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the gorgeous setting. And even when the weather threatened to dampen our plans, the incredible team at Seven Ponds Farm had a backup plan to save the day. They seamlessly flipped our ceremony and cocktail hour so we could still get those breathtaking mountain views during our ceremony. They even brought delicious snacks and drinks from the cocktail hour to our bridal suite so we wouldn't miss out on any of the fun. We opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue as well as the reception, and we were not disappointed. We got many compliments on the food, and especially the fish tacos, which we didn't try during the tasting dinner, so we were pleasantly surprised! All around, everything was delicious. We also stayed at the venue from Thursday to Sunday, which definitely made the whole experience feel even more special, as it truly did feel like home while we were there. Olivia and Edvard were absolutely amazing. They were so professional, accommodating, and truly helped us every step of the way. When the power went out in the main house while we were getting ready, they were right there to help us get it back on. Their calm demeanor and quick thinking really put us at ease. We can't recommend Seven Ponds Farm enough. It's a beautiful place with an exceptional team who will make sure every detail of your wedding day is well thought out. “The Outlier Inn is truly one-of-a-kind, offering so much more than your typical wedding venue. From the start, we knew it was something special. One of our favorite aspects was being able to bring all of our loved ones together in one place for the entire weekend, creating a unique experience where our family and friends were “trapped” in the best way—celebrating and bonding without distractions. If you’re someone who loves to party under the stars, and you enjoy envisioning and creating fun, personalized spaces, this is the venue for you. The property itself is a hidden gem, full of surprises at every turn. There’s so much to explore, from the charming tiny houses scattered throughout, to the inviting homemade hot tub and peaceful sauna, to the quirky hidden thrift shop/barn. We held our ceremony in the newly added amphitheater nestled in the woods—an intimate space surrounded by towering trees, creating a perfect natural backdrop for our vows. We were lucky with beautiful September weather, and the sound of our friends laughing and exploring the grounds will forever be a cherished memory. Josh, the owner of The Outlier, truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, we knew this was “our” place. He is warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our first tour of the property, Josh even let us bottle-feed his adorable baby goat, “Frip”—a moment that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Leading up to the wedding, Josh was always available to offer guidance and advice, and throughout the weekend, his calm presence was a steady source of reassurance. Whether he was setting up bonfires, handling speakers and microphones, or just checking in on us, Josh ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in every moment of our celebration. The only downside to having our wedding at The Outlier Inn is that we almost want to keep it a secret—it’s so magical, we’d love to keep it all to ourselves! But in all honesty, The Outlier Inn is an extraordinary venue, and we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you, Josh, for making our weekend so unforgettable!”

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. The property is yours Friday through Sunday, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and a slow Sunday morning by the water all happen in one place. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. Send your date and guest count and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
