The Outlier Inn is truly one-of-a-kind, offering so much more than your typical wedding venue. From the start, we knew it was something special. One of our favorite aspects was being able to bring all of our loved ones together in one place for the entire weekend, creating a unique experience where our family and friends were “trapped” in the best way—celebrating and bonding without distractions. If you’re someone who loves to party under the stars, and you enjoy envisioning and creating fun, personalized spaces, this is the venue for you. The property itself is a hidden gem, full of surprises at every turn. There’s so much to explore, from the charming tiny houses scattered throughout, to the inviting homemade hot tub and peaceful sauna, to the quirky hidden thrift shop/barn. We held our ceremony in the newly added amphitheater nestled in the woods—an intimate space surrounded by towering trees, creating a perfect natural backdrop for our vows. We were lucky with beautiful September weather, and the sound of our friends laughing and exploring the grounds will forever be a cherished memory. Josh, the owner of The Outlier, truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, we knew this was “our” place. He is warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our first tour of the property, Josh even let us bottle-feed his adorable baby goat, “Frip”—a moment that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Leading up to the wedding, Josh was always available to offer guidance and advice, and throughout the weekend, his calm presence was a steady source of reassurance. Whether he was setting up bonfires, handling speakers and microphones, or just checking in on us, Josh ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in every moment of our celebration. The only downside to having our wedding at The Outlier Inn is that we almost want to keep it a secret—it’s so magical, we’d love to keep it all to ourselves! The venue was my dream. From the outdoor ceremony space, the picture perfect cocktail area, and the opened tent for the reception. It was everything I could’ve wanted and more. Everyone working was so kind and helpful. Heather our day of coordinator had an answer to every question I didn’t even know I had. And the food, amazing. It was so good and I loved the amount of choices we had for the cocktail hour and for dinner. The reception area is so great and keeping the floor as is for the dancing was the best move, because we had endless room for dancing. The night flew by because I simply was having the best time, and so much is due to the venue and the staff making it the perfect night. THANK YOU! Pro tip: BOOK THE FERNS HOUSE. Being able to get ready on the property was a huge plus. And the house is so gorgeous, the bridal suite was a dream and the lighting was more than stunning. My girls and I had a blast being in the same house and getting ready in a shared space, and being on the property gave us lots of wiggle room. And then after the reception we were close and got to hang out even longer!

Still riding the high from our wedding weekend! We were absolutely floored by all the work Jen and Ally and the whole Stagecoach team did to make our wedding weekend spectacular! They have several different packages that you can choose from which allowed us to find something that truly worked for us. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning! Also because they have rooms upstairs, we were able to have our closest family stay and not have to worry about any travel! We couldn't recommend them enough!

We chose Magnanini Winery because my grandparents used bring my mom and uncle to come for the Italian festivals when they moved from Italy to the US, and the owners are from the same area of Italy my family is from. We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Sylvan Ridge in May 2025. We chose it sight-unseen as it was central for family, absolutely gorgeous in pictures, and easy to work with if it rained. The month-of and day-of coordination from Alyssa was incredible and took a lot of stress off of our plates. Vendor coordination and the timeline was seamless, even with some last-minute changes and a thunderstorm the day of. The farmhouse and cottage were a fantastic place for our family and friends to relax and help out, and had plenty of supplies and enough dishes for our 20ish person rehearsal dinner. We hosted a welcome party and our cocktail hour below the barn; had our ceremony on the lawn behind the barn; and had our ceremony in the barn. Having access to the venue for 72 hours made setup and teardown easy with a small team. The trees were just beginning to bloom, the hiking trails on the property were gorgeous, and the weather worked out perfectly to have our ceremony outside. It is hard for me to imagine how anything about the venue could have been better. If you have the opportunity to have a wedding (or any other event) at Sylvan Ridge, book it!

We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.

I cannot recommend this venue more! Not only is it beautiful on the inside but Bryce and Courtney who help run the show put in so much time, effort, and energy into making it the best day you could imagine! After our initial meeting with Bryce it was a no-brainer to go with Novella’s. They were the only venue that said yes to all of our requests and let us make the wedding more catered to us as a couple (DIY stirrers, signage, centerpieces, etc.). They only do 1 wedding a day so you are their main focus for the duration of your day. He will answer your emails, texts, and set up meetings with you if you ask! He also added some ideas we wouldn’t have thought of and walked us through the timeline and process with our goals in mind. Our family/friend’s raved about the food during cocktail hour and dinner. Good portions and great quality! As the bride, I felt they ran a tight ship with no hiccups in sight and were easy to find if I had any questions. My guests said it was a true hidden gem that they didn’t know about but loved! They also have a deal with the local Pastry Garden to give you a custom cake included in the venue cost! The venue is within walking feet of a local hotel who are fabulous to work with and Bryce also let us use the outdoor patio for an amazing after party! Truly just good people to work with and SO easy to trust!

My husband and I got married at The Arnold House on December 7, 2024, and it was truly the most perfect winter wedding weekend—we wouldn’t change a thing! The food, the ambiance, the cozy spaces throughout the property, and the beautifully appointed rooms all contribute to making this venue one-of-a-kind in the Catskills. The entire staff was amazing—everyone, from the wonderful kitchen team to the bartenders (shoutout to Kyle!), the front desk crew, and all the behind-the-scenes staff—went above and beyond to make our day special. A huge thank you to Emily & Will, who were absolute rockstars! They helped bring our vision to life with their organizational skills and attention to detail, guiding us every step of the way from the minute we booked to the day after the wedding.
