“My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Everyone on their team was no kind to us and make our day so much easier and made us feel so so special. I am so grateful for Wedgewood. Book with them!!”

“Heritage Park and Clarke estate are two hidden gem venues I love telling future clients about along with friends and family. Working there as a preferred vendor for nearly 5 years now has been a great experience as a vendor and for my clients as well. Working together with a venue to ensure the couples day is going well without a hitch is very important and let me tell you Leanne and her staff consistently work together and hard to make sure of that. Not only are both venues historic they're also affordable. That is a perfect combination for a venue Especially when people need to accommodate large guests 200-300 guests. Highly recommend both venues I do work more at heritage Park since their guest capacity is 300 but I always look forward to working with Leanne. Always a great experience.”

The Majestic Downtown
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 550 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor

The Majestic Downtown is unlike any other wedding venue in Los Angeles. The magic is in the history of the arched windows, in the curve of the marble pillars, in the intricacy of the hand-painted ceiling. We are the venue for the couples who notice the details and want something utterly timeless and one-of-a-kind. We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

Why you'll love this venue

Our guests still talk about our wedding and how smoothly everything went, and that was hands down thanks to Ashton and her team. They were all super easy to work with, very communicative, overall an amazing experience!”

Velaslavasay Panorama
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 75 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $1,800

The Velaslavasay Panorama is housed in the Union Theatre, a historic neighborhood cinema built in 1910 with a neon marquee, enchanting garden, vintage theatre space and 360-degree painted panorama viewing hall. Set in the historic West Adams District near Downtown LA, a visit to our panorama is complimented by a stroll through the Garden and Grounds reminiscent of the great 19th century pleasure gardens, featuring lush tropical plantings, a wide variety of succulents, a misting and meditation grotto, and a copper-roofed gazebo for reading and reflection. We are using Zola to promote our site as a rental venue for weddings and private events. To learn more, visit rental[dot]panoramaonview[dot]org and to ask questions or schedule a tour, contact event[at]panoramaonview[dot]org.

“If what you are seeking is a truly magical venue, look no further than the Velaslavasay Panorama. My wife and I did not want to have the typical hotel conference hall wedding. We wanted to show our family from outside of LA a place that was meaningful to us and at the same time still impress our friends from LA. The Panorama is genuinely extraordinary, with several different areas that can be arranged to suit your celebration. Our guest list was about 70 people and it was the perfect size. We opted to have our main ceremony in the historic theatre, our cocktail reception with our bartender in the lush garden, our musician play in the gazebo, and our dinner in the large area outside the moon gate. This made it easy for pick ups and drop offs with our catering and table / chair / bar rental. Sara and Ruby from the Panorama were absolutely lovely to deal with and helped considerably with logistics before, during, and after the event. Our photographer loved all of the different backdrops possible and everyone kept mentioning how wonderful the venue was. Check it out, I'm sure you will be absolutely stunned by the Panorama.”

The Muckenthaler Mansion
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Fullerton, CA
  • Up to 1500 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $23,000

Built in 1924, the stunning Italian Renaissance-style structure stands on nine landscaped acres overlooking a quiet residential neighborhood. In 1965, the estate was donated to the City of Fullerton for use as a cultural center for touring art exhibits. The sprawling venue is full of history and charm. Today, the site’s buildings – including elegant Spanish Colonial-style architecture– are used for educational and cultural events run by The Muckenthaler Cultural Center’s non-profit. In addition to its extraordinary setting, the two-story mansion offers exclusive catering and full bar services. In 1999, the Muckenthaler received designation by the National Register of Historic Places, that not only produces performances, gallery exhibits, festivals and special events. The Muckenthaler Cultural Center commits to the mission of providing the community with experiences that stimulate creativity and imagination while conserving the heritage of the Muckenthaler Estate.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No on-site guest accommodations

“From our venue tour to our tasting to our wedding day, Angie and the team at Colette’s and Muckenthaler Mansion were a dream to work with. They were communicative, clear, timely, and so helpful. It’s so convenient to have everything go through them, like tables, chairs, bar, staff, catering, linens, additional rentals, and cake. We were also able to bring in outside vendors like a photobooth and boba bar. We also used one of the rooms in the mansion to have a kids table with activities. This venue and catering were one of the most reasonably priced options, as well. We really felt like they were our cheerleaders doing everything they could to make our day smooth and memorable. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the setting was. It’s great to be able to use any space on the property that you want, so we had each part of the night in a different space, which really made it feel cozy and homey like we were hosting a backyard garden reception and a party inside the mansion/gallery. We also felt great that the venue fee was a donation to the nonprofit cultural center. The food is delicious and the drinks were strong. The staff lead Anthony was at our beck and call all night, and thought of the tiniest details to enhance our experience. The bartender and servers were great too. I think everybody should get married here! The setting makes the day feel truly special and unique. And made a beautiful backdrop for photos. I can’t thank them enough!!”

Union Station
Rating: 4.0 (1 review)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 500 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $11,500

A Los Angeles Icon from 1939, Union Station offers unique spaces to host your corporate/social events, weddings, and more. This iconic Los Angeles landmark is a vibrant symbol of downtown’s renaissance. A dynamic destination for the arts, entertainment and culture, forging a vital new connection to the community, Union Station is more than a bustling transportation hub in the heart of the city. It's a true cultural hub connecting the infinitely varied and wonderful elements of one of the world’s great cities... a gateway to the best of Los Angeles.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Historic touches
  • Classic elegance
  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

Venue considerations

  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Couple must handle cleanup and setup
“When we first saw Union Station listed on here, we actually thought it was a scam post but as it turns out - YES you can actually get married in Union Station, with several different venue options costing varying amounts. We chose the Fred Harvey room for our wedding, which was easily the most complimented part of our day. It's such an amazing, historic space, and all the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Now the cons: there are a few required inclusions (security team, valet service, fire marshal checks) that you have to acquire through them - and those costs add up quickly from the price of the actual space rental. The valet company in particular was an insanely high initial quote, but fortunately they did negotiate a drop. Because it's not a dedicated wedding venue, they also don't provide any guidance with vendors (which means you bring everything in yourself), and because it's a protected space, there are a lot of regulations on what can and can't be done (as of Summer 2025, you basically can't use the kitchen for any actual cooking). Even with the drawbacks, we'd probably still do it all over again. It was an exceptionally cool, beautiful experience, and it turned out some AMAZING photos, just make sure you ask a lot of questions up front!”

“From the moment we started planning with Kelly and Elizabeth at Huntington Harbour Yacht Club, we knew we were in great hands. They took our scattered notes and ideas and turned everything into a flawless event, we really didn't even need to hire a separate planner. The nautical setting was gorgeous and everything felt clean and organized from start to finish. What really stood out was how they thought ahead—the staff kept drinks flowing, charged phones, tracked belongings, and even surprised us with something thoughtful right when we needed it. Kelly and Elizabeth also made sure our parents felt taken care of all night long. We honestly can't say enough about how smoothly the day ran thanks to their hard work and attention to detail.”

“I loved working with Robin at the Sonesta Hotel. She was an excellent event manager who cared for all our needs and was very accommodating. I had one problem that had nothing to do with Robin or the Sonesta: Someone on the wedding coordinator's staff stole my wallet during the event. We hired Koral, the wedding coordinator, which was our responsibility. Overall, it was a beautiful venue with excellent hotel staff. I would recommend the Sonesta 100%.”

“Carondelet House was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was great and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They guided us through the entire process, answering all of our questions and making sure our needs were met. The food was absolutely amazing - our guests raved about the venue and food all night and days after. Everything went exactly as planned, and the space itself was so beautiful, giving us the old Hollywood feel we had always dreamed of. It was truly the best day, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. We highly recommend Carondelet House to any couple looking for an amazing and unique wedding experience.”

“Where do I begin?!! The Portofino Hotel & Marina was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! From day one all the way to today, a few days after the wedding, all the staff we encountered has been excellent!! Specifically I want to give a shout out to Sierra, Rain, Luis, Paco, & Mac. Sierra was my main hotel wedding coordinator and contact. She was so responsive, attentive, organized, sweet, available, and amazing!! I couldn’t be happier with her and her services. The entire experience was seamless. We planned an entire wedding in under 2 months together as I was eager to marry my man this year. She was so helpful and explained any and all things when I had questions. Starting with booking the venue all the way to the day after the wedding. Everything was so organized, including the deadlines of decisions I needed to make, and payment info, and what to do if it rained. She had everything covered. THANK YOU THANK YOU SIERRA!! Rain was also another venue coordinator & catering sales manager who helped us too and he was amazing as well. He stepped in when/if Sierra was out of the office and he attended our tasting and answered so many questions as well. He was so nice, sweet and great to work with. Very organized and never missed a beat! Thank you Rain!! Luis, the director of Banquets, handled anything food and drink related and everything was perfect. He even placed two of each hors d’oeuvres at our sweetheart table (knowing we probably wouldn’t get a chance to eat them during cocktail hour as we were busy mingling) and he was right!! It was such a sweet, simple gesture that made a big impression on us. Paco was one of the Bartenders from the day of (I never got a chance to meet our other bartender) and he was so fun and cheerful and positive and an overall great spirit. Guests kept telling me how much they loved Paco and me too! Mac worked on the hotel side and we met him when we checked in and he handled ALL our luggage and he also golf carted me around on the actual wedding day so I didn’t have to walk too much. He was super sweet and was so helpful and had a great vibe! Also, my initial point of contact was Melanie who responded to my initial venue request. She was so great and helpful and responsive that right away we were sold and we booked the venue the next day without ever even seeing it in person. On top of all the AMAZING staff, the venue is just absolutely beautiful!! You can’t find a prettier ocean front venue in the So Cal. Just gorgeous. We chose a type of all-inclusive wedding package that included a sit down 3-course dinner, open bar, ceremony, hotel room, wedding cake, and many more perks such as white linen, candles on each table, arch on the ceremony grass, champagne toast, etc. It was perfect, efficient, organized and made my life so easy. I really didn’t have to do much except invite guests and show up!! many of my guests told me afterward they were so impressed with the staff, venue and the food!!! Seriously, the food was excellent. I know all of this sounds too good to be true but honestly it was. I had zero problems, no horror stories, nothing. It truly was a PERFECT day and overall experience. I also found out afterward that a coworker of mine got married here too this past summer and she said the same thing. Her day was perfect as well and I am not surprised at all. Thank you to everyone at the Portofino! We cant wait to come back just to enjoy the restaurant, the views and the excellent service :)”

“This location was perfect!!!! I honestly couldn't have been more pleased with how easy the owners made my planning. Loved that we were able to bring outside vendors for food. They are family owned and let me tell you they make you feel like family. That was one of my favorite things about this venue. Karis was amazing. She is one of the owners and was so welcoming. I loved that they had all the things I needed and had connections if they didn't. This made planning stress-free. I didn't have to call around to find chairs/tables/linen/heaters etc. My guests were all amazed with how unique and beautiful the venue was. Hopefully in the near future we can have our baby shower there.”

“BEAUTIFUL venue that is hidden away - the experience starts from the drive TO the church as you turn into a breathtaking wide ocean view. The church is so beautiful we only needed two pillars and 2 arrangements for decorations. The only downside to decorations is there is a lot of limitations (they dont allow anything on the aisle, not even a white aisle runner) BUT the church is so gorgeous on it's own. Setta the wedding coordinator is very professional and kind and really helps day of to coordinate the timing of everything. She has a very calm demeanor which is helpful during a hectic day. Pastor Scott officiated and he was very kind and accomodating. The majority of our guests were born and raised in southern california and remarked how they never heard or been to this church and they were amazed at how beautiful it was. Many commented how they felt they were in europe! It also was just the PERFECT summer day in mid-June- warm but a slight breeze with perfect blue skies. We had parasols for the girls and they came in handy to provide some shade while taking pictures! The reception offering is a little expensive and they only provide the space - no tables/charis and only beer/wine allowed and there is a curfew - either 9 or 10pm. This would have been a perfect place to do a reception as well but with all the resctrictions and planning required to do it there we opted out of it but I really wish we could have! Their package includes day of coordinator, you must use their officiant, an amazing organist, a bridal and groomsmen suite, a meeting with the officiant, and a rehearsal run through.”

All the staff members went above and beyond to ensure that the event was tailored to perfection. We are delighted to continue working with them in the future, as we have already done many events at their place, and every time, we felt just at home. The tight work environment is fantastic, and we express our most profound happiness in working with them. Overall, we highly recommend Gran Suena for any event. It is tough to find places that look to give the best experience to our guests and can work as a team even though we are different companies.
