“My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Everyone on their team was no kind to us and make our day so much easier and made us feel so so special. I am so grateful for Wedgewood. Book with them!!”

“The library is back! If you can score a date here, don’t hesitate! The Redondo Beach Historic Library is an exceptional wedding venue that combines historic charm with modern elegance. From the moment I toured the venue while it was undergoing renovations, I was impressed by their knowledgeable and focused approach to providing a high level of service and experience. The beachfront location offers the best of both worlds, with the historic charm of the building complemented by the newly renovated modern aesthetic. “I loved working with Robin at the Sonesta Hotel. She was an excellent event manager who cared for all our needs and was very accommodating. I had one problem that had nothing to do with Robin or the Sonesta: Someone on the wedding coordinator's staff stole my wallet during the event. We hired Koral, the wedding coordinator, which was our responsibility. Overall, it was a beautiful venue with excellent hotel staff. I would recommend the Sonesta 100%.”

“We had our cocktail hour and wedding reception at the Portofino Hotel & Marina. There was quite a bit of staff turnover throughout the months during our planning process and we were nervous when our initial catering manager left, but we were so grateful to have Rain who took over as our catering manager and did an excellent job with our wedding reception! Rain stepped in seamlessly and was wonderful to work with. He took the time to understand our vision and provided suggestions to enhance our reception. His professionalism was evident in every interaction, which gave us great peace of mind during the planning process. Rain helped us create special details, like our signature drinks, and included thoughtful touches that really made our wedding day feel extra special. Thank you Rain!! We received numerous compliments from our guests about the delicious food and impeccable service. The venue itself is stunning and we couldn’t have picked a better reception location. I literally gasped when I walked into the ballroom and saw it all come together with the white linens, the gold chivari chairs, the white dance floor, the blue ocean and sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was even more breathtaking as the sun was setting. Our reception was more beautiful than we could have imagined and I’m so glad we chose the Portofino!”

“BEAUTIFUL venue that is hidden away - the experience starts from the drive TO the church as you turn into a breathtaking wide ocean view. The church is so beautiful we only needed two pillars and 2 arrangements for decorations. The only downside to decorations is there is a lot of limitations (they dont allow anything on the aisle, not even a white aisle runner) BUT the church is so gorgeous on it's own. Setta the wedding coordinator is very professional and kind and really helps day of to coordinate the timing of everything. She has a very calm demeanor which is helpful during a hectic day. Pastor Scott officiated and he was very kind and accomodating. The majority of our guests were born and raised in southern california and remarked how they never heard or been to this church and they were amazed at how beautiful it was. Many commented how they felt they were in europe! It also was just the PERFECT summer day in mid-June- warm but a slight breeze with perfect blue skies. We had parasols for the girls and they came in handy to provide some shade while taking pictures! The reception offering is a little expensive and they only provide the space - no tables/charis and only beer/wine allowed and there is a curfew - either 9 or 10pm. This would have been a perfect place to do a reception as well but with all the resctrictions and planning required to do it there we opted out of it but I really wish we could have! Their package includes day of coordinator, you must use their officiant, an amazing organist, a bridal and groomsmen suite, a meeting with the officiant, and a rehearsal run through.”

“Kat from MadeByMeg was phenomenal—hands-down my favorite vendor. She made wedding planning effortless and fun, navigating the chaos of venue and catering options with ease. Kat was incredibly responsive and always went above and beyond. Working with La Venta’s staff, especially Cameron and Savannah, was seamless. The venue is stunning, intimate, and perfect. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly—I was amazed. Guests were so impressed they started taking photos in the parking lot!
