Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. “Wow, where do we even begin with this 5/5 review for Jeff and White Rose Productions other than wishing there was a higher rating to give them? Besides our venue, Jeff was the first vendor we picked for our wedding and it was the BEST choice we could have made. From our first meeting, we instantly knew that Jeff would bring our vision of celebrating and partying all night long to life and boy did he deliver! Weeks later, we still have friends and family saying "Oh my God you guys had the best DJ ever! I wish we had him for our wedding!!" Jeff kept that dance floor PACKED (we even had to move the tables out of the way). Even a few of our friends who are DJ's were dabbing Jeff up all night long for his killer transitions and reading the crowd. As a queer couple, the wedding planning process was a bit stressful in terms of making sure all of our vendors supported us and that we could be our authentic selves. Jeff is one of the most intentional people, he got to know our story, he learned who we are. So much so he was throwing in extra songs that we forgot to have on our list but we LOVED and it made everyone on the dance floor go crazy.
