“Let me start by saying that the Secret Garden and the Epic Coordination team made all of my wedding dreams come true! I recently got married at the Secret Garden on April 28th, 2024. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. I had an enjoyable experience planning our wedding thanks to the support from the Secret Garden and Epic team! To conclude, my wedding day at the Secret Garden was literally the happiest day of our lives! It couldn't have been more perfect. “We did not use The Knott to find this venue but we had such an amazing experience we had to share. The venue itself, the first thing you see is a modern foodhall / full bar with a large variety of restaurants. If youre staying at the hotel connected, it was such a great place to hangout with your bridal parties before everything starts. Moving along to the even areas, the ceremony room gives off a modern barn yard style venue and it's such a pleasant contrast from what you initially see when first walking in which really adds to the "wow" factor when entering the room. The cocktail hour area is amazing as well and after we gifted some of our items, they will now have Cornhole and a beer cart available! The area itself is wide open with great seating areas as well. The reception is another instance where the contrast is such a difference from the food hall downstairs, it once again adds so much to that jsw drop reaction. We were approached multiple times complementing how "cool" this venue was and it was definitely a true compliment. Now the venue wouldn't be anywhere with out the staff and I can not say enough great things about them. The entire time was courteous, professional and really give they sense that they want to make sure you have your special day as one to remember. Specifically wanted to shout out our amazing coordinator - Brianna, banquet captain - Lee j and Dj - Rhy's. These three went above and beyond for us and it seemed like that was just their normal demeanor. Brianna made sure we had nothing to worry about and made every part of the planning process a breeze. Lee J was also always checking in appropriately often to ensure we were never left wanting, thirsty or hungry. Rhy's was also great to work with, we had a very specific request with music which ended up having my wife and I take part in a lightsaber fight to two different versions of starwars music - Duel of the Fates, and he handled it masterfully. All in all, 10/10 can not recommend enough.”

Our planner, Mikaela, was absolutely amazing! She was so understanding, supportive, easy to work with, and always responsive. She answered every question we had and made the entire planning process feel stress-free. On the wedding day, she helped everything run so smoothly not just for me and my husband, but also for our family who were helping throughout the day. We even requested for aisle decor to be placed at the sweetheart table afterwards and the team did exactly that! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and honestly speaks for itself. We had a large guest count of around 200 people, and everyone kept raving about how beautiful it was. What we loved most was how it felt both spacious and intimate at the same time, which made the entire celebration feel so special. The food was also delicious! We chose the family-style dinner, and it was such a great decision! Everyone loved sharing the meal together, and the portions were generous. We also added the late-night taco bar and ice cream, and both were a huge hit with our guests! We brought our own alcohol, and it was such a nice touch that they provided all the glassware and ice for us. Every single thing we requested was done exactly how we envisioned, and there were truly no mishaps. Everything stayed on schedule, and the entire day flowed seamlessly. We have Mikaela and the whole Botanica team to thank for making our wedding day so unforgettable. We can’t recommend Mikaela and the team at Botanica enough!”

“We got married at Cape Rey Carlsbad in May 2026 and it was the best decision we made. From the very first visit in April 2025, we couldn't stop thinking about how gorgeous the venue was. Not only was it extremely spacious to host 140 guests, the Ocean view is spectacular plus it was very close to our ceremony site. Just steps away from the beach, it was a no brainer for us to take our newlywed photos there. Each part of our reception had a unique space. Our cocktail hour was hosted on the grassy patio, dinner was out on the terrace to enjoy the sunset, and dancing was inside the ballroom. We even had space to set up more fun activities and bars for our guests in the foyer between the ballroom and the terrace! There was plenty of space for our guests to roam around. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful beach setting and the food! Not only is the food portions generous in size but it is so delicious. The head chef knows what he is doing. We had quite a few of out of town guests and most stayed on property. It was convenient and everyone felt well accommodated. Having the room block there was a great choice. Our suite was comfortable and we felt welcomed! What really made the day unforgettable was the team. 4 months before the wedding, there was a change in Sales Manager. We had a good relationship with the previous Sales Manager and were nervous. Cape Rey managed the transition well and the new Sales Manager, Mikayla Leversen, hit the ground running She went above and beyond, making sure everything ran smoothly. From the planning process to the last dance, the staff was extremely professional, kind, and attentive. We loved everything about Cape Rey and can't wait to come back for our anniversaries!”

“The Vistonian was a lovely venue! We loved all of the greenery and natural light inside the venue. It was spacious and allowed for plenty of room for our guests. The bridal suite was also spacious with lots of mirrors and outlets. We used the venue for both ceremony and reception. It was an easy transition going from one to the next. We worked with Shelly, the venue coordinator, and she was fabulous! Great communication from when we toured, booked, and up to our big day. The value for what we got was amazing as well! We did their all inclusive package and were happy with the price for all that we got: tables & chairs, bridal suite, catering, open bar, and DJ. Honestly, so great if you're on a budget or have a bigger budget and want to spend more on something like decor or florals. Highly recommend!!”

“Picking a wedding venue is now easy task and I'm so grateful to have found and chosen Shadowridge. Codie & Morgan were my coordinators, and they helped me so much with the process of planning, choosing the details, timeline, and day of coordination. Codie was absolute perfection, she is so sweet and kind, she handled the day of coordination amazingly, she was there for me whenever I needed her, and she knew exactly what to do even when I had no idea! The reception hall was GORGEOUS, I loved how everything was set up, she did everything and more to help ease the stress of my wedding day! I couldn't have done this without her, Codie, I'll forever be grateful for all of your help and pure kindness. The food service was also great, we received many compliments on the cocktail hour foods and dinner service! All of the staff there were incredibly kind and nice, the bartenders, staff, chefs, bus boys, everyone was amazing. Our DJ Arnie was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, he is recommended by Codie and works frequently with Shadowridge and I'm so thankful we booked him.
