I could not recommend Wedgewood Carlsbad Windmill more highly. For half of what we would be paying at any other venue, I feel that we received top-notch service, aesthetics that matched who we are as a couple, thoughtful coordination, and worry-free execution. Our coordinator, Brianna, went above and beyond to give us the wedding of our dreams. We loved our DJ, Noah (with DJ Maestro), who was coordinated through the venue. It was a seamless experience that I genuinely feel saved us a ton of money and gave us MORE value than a traditional venue.

The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for our group of 105 guests in May. It has an intimate feel, but still feels open and welcoming. The flowers were in bloom and the grass was very green. The coordination team did an amazing job accommodating all of our set-up requests and took great care of us on the day of. We are very pleased with everything and loved the preferred caterer and DJ that were part of the all-inclusive package. Overall we found this venue to be one of the more affordable options, especially given you bring in your own alcohol/drinks and can take home what’s leftover. This saved us at least 50/person. The surrounding area and city of Rancho Santa Fe are gorgeous. Parking was easy and all our guests loved the venue.

Our wedding was absolutely incredible, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience from start to finish. Every single detail was thoughtfully executed, and the entire team made us feel so cared for throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. A huge thank you to our amazing wedding planners, Petr and Bri from Wedgewood. They kept everything running seamlessly, answered every question we had, and made what could have been a stressful day feel completely effortless. We also have to recognize Brynn, our banquet captain, who ensured everything flowed perfectly behind the scenes. Their professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. The entertainment was unforgettable thanks to DJ Maestro. Mik absolutely understood the vibe we wanted and kept the energy exactly where it needed to be all night long. The addition of the cellist during our ceremony was stunning and made the entire experience feel so elegant and memorable. The florists completely exceeded our expectations. They created the most breathtaking floral arrangements, including a gorgeous flower chandelier that truly became a centerpiece of the room. The creativity and craftsmanship were beyond anything we could have imagined. Our cake from Violet Cakes was both a work of art and incredibly delicious. Malissa designed the most beautiful three-tier cake adorned with fresh flowers, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing it tasted. Finally, we have to give the biggest shoutout to Nico and Paul from True Photography. They were an absolute dream team. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, were endlessly patient, and worked together so seamlessly that it was obvious how talented they are. We honestly can't wait to see our photos because watching them work gave us so much confidence that they're going to be spectacular. We truly had the wedding of our dreams, and we're so grateful to everyone who made it possible. If you're considering this venue, don't hesitate—you'll be in the best hands possible!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Mingle and Create event recently, making mini pumpkins displays using succulents, leaves and glue guns! The center supplied everything - pumpkins, and array of succulents, decorative items, working tables and glue guns - and even had treats and drinks. We had a great time chatting with others, admiring the other creations and getting more ideas for future creative work. Kudos to the staff who decorated the space and hosted us so generously!

We got married at Cape Rey Carlsbad in May 2026 and it was the best decision we made. From the very first visit in April 2025, we couldn't stop thinking about how gorgeous the venue was. Not only was it extremely spacious to host 140 guests, the Ocean view is spectacular plus it was very close to our ceremony site. Just steps away from the beach, it was a no brainer for us to take our newlywed photos there. Each part of our reception had a unique space. Our cocktail hour was hosted on the grassy patio, dinner was out on the terrace to enjoy the sunset, and dancing was inside the ballroom. We even had space to set up more fun activities and bars for our guests in the foyer between the ballroom and the terrace! There was plenty of space for our guests to roam around. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful beach setting and the food! Not only is the food portions generous in size but it is so delicious. The head chef knows what he is doing. We had quite a few of out of town guests and most stayed on property. It was convenient and everyone felt well accommodated. Having the room block there was a great choice. Our suite was comfortable and we felt welcomed! What really made the day unforgettable was the team. 4 months before the wedding, there was a change in Sales Manager. We had a good relationship with the previous Sales Manager and were nervous. Cape Rey managed the transition well and the new Sales Manager, Mikayla Leversen, hit the ground running She went above and beyond, making sure everything ran smoothly. From the planning process to the last dance, the staff was extremely professional, kind, and attentive. We loved everything about Cape Rey and can't wait to come back for our anniversaries!

The team at Weddings at The Crossings made our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the beginning, our coordinator Sandy was incredibly easy to work with - she was collaborative, helpful, and provided us with invaluable guidance and tips for months leading up to the big day. The venue itself is beautiful, gorgeous golf course and clubhouse that provided a great pricing compared to other options we considered. We couldn't be happier about choosing The Crossings for our special day, as the entire team worked tirelessly to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Picking a wedding venue is now easy task and I'm so grateful to have found and chosen Shadowridge. Codie & Morgan were my coordinators, and they helped me so much with the process of planning, choosing the details, timeline, and day of coordination. Codie was absolute perfection, she is so sweet and kind, she handled the day of coordination amazingly, she was there for me whenever I needed her, and she knew exactly what to do even when I had no idea! The reception hall was GORGEOUS, I loved how everything was set up, she did everything and more to help ease the stress of my wedding day! I couldn't have done this without her, Codie, I'll forever be grateful for all of your help and pure kindness. The food service was also great, we received many compliments on the cocktail hour foods and dinner service! All of the staff there were incredibly kind and nice, the bartenders, staff, chefs, bus boys, everyone was amazing. Our DJ Arnie was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, he is recommended by Codie and works frequently with Shadowridge and I'm so thankful we booked him. I definitely recommend having your wedding here, they did an exceptional job and Codie was perfection. Thank you!!!
