The CHILDERS ROOM (center row of photos above) is perfect for a combination cocktail party and dining experience, or a sit-down, formal meal for up to 50 people. The Childers Room has immediate access to our elegant GARDEN PATIO, and many of our guests choose to begin their experience with a reception (or wedding!) on the patio before moving to the CHILDERS ROOM for their dining experience.

      ....... TRUE LOVE...... what more can you feel for Eight4Nine, its' family of employees and owners Willie Rhine + John Paschal. They truly serve and cook with love and passion. Every plate of food is very thoughtfully crafted - whether it's for a party of 2 in an intimate corner of their restaurant or a 120 guest gathering celebrating a couples vows, or an important fundraising gala of 300 at a large private estate. Willie + John's passion and eye for design + detail can be seen in every aspect of service for EVERY client and guest. Willie + John deeply invest in the team and staff that surrounds them, and that team is devoted to them like family. When you trust your vision and budget to 849, you are cared for with the highest due respect and appreciation. They are so very important and loved by our community who live here, and those that have traveled to host their life moments here in Palm Springs.
