Velvet Sky Photography was created by Taylor (that’s me!), blending a love for moody aesthetics with a natural, storytelling approach. It began as a small creative project and has grown into a space where couples and families can have their moments captured in a way that feels genuine and true to them. Velvet Sky Photography is LGBTQ+ owned and operated!

I have had the honor of serving a diverse array of clients, from passionate couples pledging their love, to couples who have been together for years and want to elope just for fun! Every single client becomes like family and I love being a part of capturing their story. I cannot wait to capture a part of yours too!

    Amazing photographer!

    I hired Velvet Sky Photography to photograph my bridal party and me getting ready on my wedding day. I am so happy that I did! Taylor is so professional and personable. I tend to be very camera shy but Taylor was so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photographs came out beautiful and captured all of the love and emotions we were experiencing that morning. Working with Taylor was amazing and I highly recommend that you book with Velvet Sky Photography.

    Best experience ever!

    From our first conversation, Velvet Sky Photography made us feel like they genuinely cared about our wedding day. She was fun and easy to talk to throughout the entire process, and she got along great with my husband's sense of humor which put us both at ease. On the day of, she captured stunning, romantic shots that felt so natural and true to us, she made the entire day feel so special. The moody aesthetic she brought really made our love apparent. She made me feel beautiful in every frame, and we were thrilled with how effortlessly she worked with us to get the perfect moments. The quality of Taylor’s work is absolutely worth the investment, and we'd recommend her to any couple looking for a photographer who is both professional and genuinely fun to be around.

    Amazing!!

    Working with Velvet Sky Photography has been a genuine pleasure from start to finish. I hired Taylor to capture memories from my bachelorette party and also had her back to photograph the bridal party getting ready on wedding day morning, and she absolutely nailed both occasions. Her communication throughout the process was refreshingly clear, personable, and professional. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and genuinely invested in helping me achieve the moody vision that I was striving for.     I absolutely ADORE my photos

    Velvet Sky Photography blew it out of the water! I had a vision of what I wanted and Taylor was able to take that vision and improve on it 10 fold. I am NOT a model nor did I have any clue of how to pose to get the shots I wanted.. I was sure my photos were going to look a mess because of my awkwardness. Taylor was patient, kind and so easy to work with as she guided my family and I through the process and captured the best photos of us all. I am so happy I went with this photographer due to her keen eye for details and ability to capture photos that look effortless and natural. I love the photos she took of my husband and I looking so wonderfully in love but my favorite are those of my children. Each childs unique personality is oozing from the photo and I know I will look back at these fondly as they grow older. Overall 10/10- highly recommend!
