Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives. From the moment we arrived, the energy, care, and attention provided by the entire staff were unforgettable. Our families and guests felt the same way. Throughout the night, people told us how breathtakingly stunning the venue is and how flawlessly everything came together. Perona Farms is truly a magical place. Working with Marley throughout the planning process was an absolute joy. She made everything easy, organized, and genuinely fun, and her support meant so much to us. Ana and Heather were the absolute dream team on the wedding day. Ana supported us every step of the way and always appeared the moment we needed her. She made us feel cared for, calm, and so incredibly special. During photos, when I began feeling shaky from not having eaten all day, she even put together a charcuterie board with fruit, cheese, and meats just for me. Heather was equally phenomenal and managed every detail throughout the reception. Thanks to her coordination, we did not have to think or worry about a single thing. She checked in on everyone, not just us and our bridal party, and she even boxed up all of the leftover food so we could enjoy it later. The food was absolutely incredible, and our guests could not stop talking about it. Every server, bartender, and suite attendant was kind, organized, joyful, and clearly passionate about their work. The entire team created an experience that felt seamless, warm, and genuinely celebratory. From start to finish, the planning process and the wedding day itself were effortless, enjoyable, and filled with support. We will cherish this experience forever and are endlessly grateful for the extraordinary service, beautiful atmosphere, and unforgettable memories created here.

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Handles all cleanup logistics
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

The in house team is incredible - Kasie, Kaitlin and Sarah were responsive to every question we had, providing recommendations and offering up any help needed to bring our vision to life. I love that they went above and beyond and sourced local whiskey for our specialty cocktail! Their enormous storage closet of wedding decor saved us a lot of money too. Everything will go smoothly with the Armory team at the helm - they have running events down to a science. The entire space is so beautiful that you do not need to spend on decor - it is industrial but still warm and inviting. The lighting is perfect, the sound system is flawless, and their pulley system of curtains makes for a seamless and beautiful transition between ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The lofted getting ready suite is enormous which was a huge plus: we are an LGBT couple so we had 2 brides and 20 other people eating brunch and getting ready together and we all fit. I am an event planner as my day job so I have high standards and a *lot* of opinions when it comes to events, and there's not a single thing I would have changed or done differently!

The Skylark
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
New York, NY
  • Up to 80 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $20,000

The Skylark in Midtown Manhattan features a chic, sophisticated venue with stunning skyline views. The modern design and rooftop terrace create an impressive setting for weddings. Guests appreciate the exceptional service and the expertly crafted cocktails, adding a unique touch to the celebration. The professional staff ensures a seamless event, handling all details with precision. The Skylark offers an elegant and modern venue, perfect for a stylish and memorable wedding experience.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Full catering menu to choose from
  • Has a sophisticated vibe
  • Provides setup and cleanup

Venue considerations

  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available
  • Dance floor not included
  • No on-premises lodging options
Skylark was the best possible venue we could have booked for our wedding reception, full stop. Throughout the booking process, they were always highly responsive and professional. They invited us back for drink tastings, for catering option tastings, and even once got my now-wife and her two friends a table on a crowded Saturday night without a reservation. All in all, the venue itself is amazing. We lucked out and got the rooftop for our cocktail hour which we extended an extra 45m 'til sunset and our guests loved taking photos. The main dance area / bar of Skylark is fashionable, chic, and has a certain vibe that meshed perfectly with what my wife and I were looking for. They also have excellent side-rooms for the wedding party to take a moment to decompress in a cool leather-bound corner apartment with its own bar, bathroom, and changing area. The were a few things that really caught my attention as we were touring for the first time: the downstairs entrance is dark, moody, and intentionally a bit industrial which really helps set a New York vibe. Upstairs, I noticed our tour guide thought the music was a touch too loud in one of the side-rooms, so he immediately tweaked the volume down a notch on their iPad music controls. The drinks were excellent (we opted for the Cherry Blossom Old Fashioned and the French 75 for our wedding cocktails). We also came back to sample the food options (we went for a cocktail-style dinner with phased courses throughout the night), & they were all incredibly delicious thanks to Skylark's partnership with Abigail Kirsch. Lastly, our coordinator was Phil Montana and he is one of the best parts of our experience. He has exceptional attention to detail, coordination skills, and a warm & empathetic personality. I would also like to recognize the staff who were all wonderful in taking care of us & our guests throughout the night. If you are on the fence, I would highly suggest a tour. When we booked, Skylark did not have a ton of reviews either on Zola or on The Knot, so this review is my way of encouraging any readers to give it a shot -- if you are looking for a fashionable, chic New York wedding experience, The Skylark really cannot be beat. I'm looking forward to returning periodically as regular customers as well!

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Houston Hall. Carlita and Isabel made sure our entire wedding day went flawlessly. From the start, Carlita worked closely with us during the tasting to ensure all our guests’ dietary needs were accommodated. With several family members living with celiac disease, including my dad, this was incredibly important to us, and she handled it with so much care and attention. The food and drinks were outstanding. We chose a few specialty cocktails that were a huge hit, and our guests ravedabout the food. At most weddings, the food is forgettable, but Houston Hall completely exceeded our expectations, everything was truly delicious. Beyond that, Carlita and Isabel made the planning process so seamless and stress-free. They ensured we had everything we needed, coordinated with all of our vendors, kept the schedule perfectly on track, and made my wedding day feel effortless. I knew everything was being expertly handled and that we were in the best hands. The venue is such a unique and amazing place, and everyone felt so welcomed. Additionally, they provided a list of vendors they work with regularly, which was phenomenal. They went above and beyond in every way and delivered the most perfect day. I am endlessly grateful and couldn’t recommend Houston Hall more highly.

We recently had our wedding at Hudson Loft (OnTheMarc) and it was the best party we’ve ever attended! Every element of the planning process was thoughtful and Sam, the Senior Event Producer we worked with was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and on top of it all! We felt cared for from the very beginning stages and that care continued through the wedding with every staff member who helped to make the day run so smoothly. We can’t say enough about the FOOD. It was hard to narrow down to 8 (!!) passed appetizers because they were all so delicious. The presentation is exceptional at OnThe Marc - every appetizer is truly bite-size and bursting with flavor. It’s like having the tiniest versions of all of your favorite foods from lobster rolls and tacos to sliders, chicken and waffles, spicy tuna on crispy rice and beyond. Everything felt both elevated and also grounded in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution. For the main course, we did 2 stations and were thrilled with the results. Throughout the night, family and friends commented on how amazing every bite was and how wonderfully varied the choices were. We highly recommend this special event space for couples seeking a gorgeous open layout in Westchester that can truly be a canvas for any design and flowers. The location, situated right opposite the MetroNorth train station in Irvington, was perfect for friends and family traveling from the city. The windows are a showstopper, looking out onto the Hudson and filling the room with a warm glow well into the evening. We loved that we didn’t have to rent any furniture. There is plenty of seating and many furniture options for display. The long tables were a great way to promote conversation during cocktail hour. We also loved the lighting! The exposed bulb fixtures give an appealing industrial vibe. We did our ceremony at Hudson Loft and the table set-up was seamless during the cocktail hour. Our Event Captain, Teresa, was thorough, diligent, and accessible the entire time. She made it all feel so easy and joyful! OnTheMarc will make you feel completely at ease with every detail. We are so grateful to have chosen this special place for our wedding!

Sound River Studios was the perfect venue. From our first visit we were amazed at how personable and committed to making our day special the team was. While most venues unlocked the doors and let us take a quick look, Una spent the better part of an hour giving us a full tour, showing us photos of countless possible setups, and answering any and every question we could think of. Throughout the planning process Una was always ready to help, not to mention tell us a great story. Nikola was also gracious enough to host us for a great tasting of the wine offerings from the family vineyard. The view of the city speaks for itself, but the space is also beautiful and very flexible. We were able to bring in a variety of outside vendors to transform the space in a way that fit our vision and felt very personal. SRS was easy to work with and the day of ran very smoothly, even with a variety of vendors. We couldn't be more happy with our experience. Highly recommend!

where do I even begin? Having our wedding with Ravel events exceeded our expectations more than I ever could have imagined. From start to finish everything was perfection thanks to our amazing coordinator that the Ravel provided us with Eman. From day one Eman was there to guide me and support me through the whole wedding process. everyone was saying I was one of the most chill brides and I honestly think it’s because of how easy Eman and the Ravel made this experience! On the wedding day, I was assigned a bridal attendant, Jadelyn. I wasn't quite sure what to expect since we had never met before, but she quickly became one of the highlights of my day. She was kind, attentive, hardworking, and always one step ahead of anything I needed. From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease, as though I had another friend by my side throughout the day. The food, the views, the service… No notes. It was a dream. The week leading up to the wedding I was really nervous since the weather was predicting rain the day of the wedding. Eman gave me many different options to make sure my day would go exactly the way I wanted despite rain, but she was still very hopeful and positive that it would clear up. Fortunately, for us, no rain, beautiful clear skies, and our dream rooftop ceremony was able to happen. Plus, we got the most beautiful sunset. The thing about the Ravel is that it faces the city so you get the most beautiful views of Manhattan. Views that guest still are raving about and almost every guest has a new profile picture on their Instagram and Facebook of them at the Ravel with the view! And top it off the night was so perfect that Eman was able to open the roof of the penthouse for us to have the most dreamy night under the stars. If you’re thinking about having your wedding at the Ravel, do not even double think it. It was the most perfect planning experience and the most perfect night. Thank you to everyone at the Ravel, especially Eman and Jadelyn!

We had our wedding on the rooftop of Greats of Craft in September. We COULD NOT be happier with how the event turned out!!! First and foremost, Joe & Stella are awesome to work with - such friendly and genuine people. They made the planning process as stress-free as it could be, by being communicative, dependable, and accommodating. We already loved the venue, but meeting with them made it an easy decision to choose GoC. We held a mini-ceremony and the reception on the rooftop for 60 people. We wanted it to be less formal (like an “elevated party”) but still trendy, and GoC checked all the boxes. The vibes and setting were PERFECTION: the backdrop of the Queensboro Bridge at dusk for our ceremony; cute string lights with a brick wall and large screen for our slideshow, perfect weather, plenty of room for people to mingle, sit down to eat, and dance. The ENTIRE GoC team/staff were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and took great care of us and all of our guests. Shout out to Trey and Eddie!! We went with in-house catering for the food - Chef Chris is the best and everything tasted delicious!!! We got SO many compliments on the food from our guests. We still continue to rave about GoC being such a gem of an event space. Trying to find a reasonably-priced, high-quality wedding venue in NYC is difficult and sometimes discouraging. We feel so fortunate that we were able to have our wedding celebration here, it felt like a complete DREAM!!! Thank you, Joe & Stella and the whole GoC crew!!

The Dumbo Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, their communication was good, fast, professional, and reliable. The venue itself is beautiful on its own, with a versatile layout and a small but functional dressing room. We were able to decorate the space exactly how we wanted and choose the vendors that fit our vision. The venue was super easy to work with, and the pricing was great compared to other spaces we looked at. The location was also super easy for our guests to get to, and while the space was a bit small, it was just enough room for all we needed. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience at The Dumbo Loft and highly recommend it to any couples looking for a gorgeous, flexible wedding venue.

I had my wedding reception at Hamilton Loft and I am happy to say that this venue is perfect and we loved every minute of our wedding! The owner, Steve, is kind and attentive, ready to answer any questions and was willing to show us around the space multiple times. I had some details that I really wanted and sent Steve a neurotically long email about them and he graciously took care of everything I asked— all was perfect day of. Hamilton Loft has beautiful lounge furniture that was perfect for our cocktail hour, and a chic main space with room for dinner and dancing, as well as buffet tables. The drinks packages include some incredible cocktails and bartenders— everyone loved our bar and was very impressed by our options. There is also a manned coat room and lounges for the married couple, which was nice to take a break from the festivities when needed. All in all we had a stellar experience in this beautiful space. I would recommend Hamilton Loft as an event space for anyone!

The team was a well oiled machine, They handled every transition and any small hiccup with precision and grace. The personal attention given to the couple throughout the reception was greatly appreciated. The attention to detail day of was a wonderful contrast to their more hands-off approach to the pre-planning. The front desk staff at the hotel provided exceptional service from handling questions about the room block to tracking down and setting up a pack and play for the littlest guest. Every staff member that we encountered was professional, warm, and welcoming.

Where to begin...from the first time we met with Angie (the events director) all the way to our wedding day, she and the rest of the staff blew right past any expectations we could ever have and literally delivered our dream wedding. Our guests raved about how much fun they had and it cannot be overstated how much of that is due to the incredible atmosphere of the venue and the amazing people working there. They just made everything so easy. It goes without saying that Threes has top-notch beers, wine and cocktails that kept us and our guests very happy, but we have to give a special shoutout to THE FOOD. We opted for the Gotham Smash Burger (with an option for an Impossible patty for vegetarian/vegan guests) as our entree and I had multiple people tell me it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, the best kale caesar salad they'd ever had period, and one of the vegetarian guests told me it was the best veggie burger she'd ever had in her life. Threes at Franklin Kent could not have been a more perfect place for our wedding. If you are looking for a laid-back yet elevated and romantic Brooklyn brewery vibe for your special day, look no further. They will take superb care of you!

Our wedding afterparty at Madleine’s was unreal! Brenton was amazing — so easygoing, accommodating, and genuinely fun to work with. He made the whole process effortless and gave us the freedom to truly make the space our own. We got to take over the venue for the night and throw the best dance party you could imagine. Being able to bring our own DJ, party favors, and decor made it feel so personal and perfectly us. The staff was great, the energy was incredible, and the space itself couldn’t have been a cooler backdrop for a celebration. If you’re looking for a spot to keep the party going in style — this is it.

From the moment we walked into Rule of Thirds for our site visit, we knew that we had found the perfect venue for our wedding! We had our wedding this past May 2025 at Rule of Thirds, and could not be MORE HAPPY for our decision. Not only is the space incredibly beautiful, but the staff is amazing, truly so helpful, kind, and patient. Food and drink being included due to the incredible restaurant that Rule of Thirds already is, in addition to hosting events, made booking this space an even easier decision! Julie and Mandy, who communicated with us throughout our planning process, were a huge help as we worked to envision our big day, and were always available to answer our questions as they came up. Additionally, the food tasting experience was a lot of fun, and made us even more excited for the wedding! Naturally, everything was DELICIOUS and our friends cannot stop raving about how good everything was. On the day-of our wedding, our onsite events operations manager, Lucia, was also a huge help, and alongside our day of coordinating team, it felt like we had an amazing crew supporting us, and ensuring that we felt relaxed and happy all day long. The space itself is also stunning, especially the skylight at the center of the atrium space, which became such a focal point for our wedding design as we envisioned everything coming together. Having access to the bridal suite behind their sake shop also made preparing before and after our ceremony seamless. The way everything came together at the venue, including flowers, signage, and our floor plan, was perfect, and everything we could have ever dreamed of. We cannot recommend this venue enough, and will always remember Rule of Thirds as a special place in our hearts where we got to start the rest of our lives together with friends and family all around us! Thank you!
