Each event we went to was an opportunity for us to critique details of the ceremony, reception, and design choices that were made. We often saw things that we borrowed for our own wedding, and just as often, identified things that were definitely not our style or that we would do differently. One thing we consistently noted, was that the reception could be made or broken by the music choices, sound quality, and general atmosphere created by the DJ. Todd was our first choice. He was quick to reply, always professional, and very accommodating with our many specific requests. It turns out, we hired Todd without even knowing that both of my wife’s sisters had hired him for their weddings 10 years before! Todd was great. He really made our day special. We kept saying that the one thing we cared most about was our guests having a great time. And each of them did. We had friends and family coming up to us all night saying that it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to. We attribute a huge part of that to Todd and Dance Trax. The music was fun and just the right volume. The sound quality wasn’t all distorted or washed out. “We used for DJ Clife for our wedding 09/2023 and couldn't be happier! When looking for wedding DJs it can be tough to know what you're getting for your money. At first I was cautious as he is on the higher end of price ranges but noticed the higher ratings to match. I would say without a doubt DJ Clife Company was a perfect choice for us! We had several zoom meetings to discuss the vibe and creative view of our day and then focusing more on logistics and specifics for the night. Our wedding had some specific scheduling needs including a 15 minute dance session at the beginning of the reception, 2 dance numbers, choregraphed formal dances and other surprises. Clife Estores delivered on every detail that was needed from the beginning of the day until the end. Using the "Vibo" app helped us drop in songs and add information for our schedule to keep our conversations focused on what was needed - we enjoyed this process. Leading up to the wedding he was quick to respond to e-mails/texts with last minute questions or changed plans. My main concern was finding a DJ who truly mixed the music like you would hear in a club/party atmosphere with the best 2-3 minutes of the song played and rolling right into the next song. I asked for a constant variety of music genres so it didn't fall into that typical wedding format. Clife delivered some of the best music mixes I've ever heard! All of my guests commented on how great the music was and everyone from people who love to dance to those just watching all said how they really felt the party vibe. A couple commented that they planned to leave when the music slowed down and it never did so they stayed all night! He truly set the atmosphere in a positive direction and we had the best night of our lives! If you are unsure of the cost I can assure you he is worth the expense and truly created a great atmosphere for everyone! A few add-ons we used with DJ Clife: Room Uplighting, 4 moving spotlights and 2 sparklers - all enhanced the night! For anyone who has a lot of dancers in their guest list I would suggest looking into the LED dance floor with "Unique Events" in Cedar Rapids, IA. Pricey, but the DJ and dance floor were the most talked about from our guests.”

“Hiring Herbert Holler was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our vision was a longer reception to leave plenty of room for dancing, being together, having fun and really wanted it to be a great time for everyone there, for all ages. HH had everyone dancing at the same time- kids, teenagers, or friends, our parents' friends, and my 89 year old grandmother. He was spot on in reading the room- which wasn't the most straight forward - I asked him to sprinkle some Arabic music in so my Lebanese family could come together over familiar music- all I did was provide him a couple of titles and he ran with the rest. Didn't overdo it, and everybody joined in. It was a dream. HH was professional the whole way through and didn't require tons of collab, and was flexible and quickly responsive. My advice: Hire HH.”

Once the party started, the DJ kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. They played a great mix of music that appealed to guests of all ages, and seamlessly transitioned between songs to keep the party going. One of the things that really stood out to us was how the DJ took the time to get to know our preferences and incorporate them into the playlist.
