So glad we chose The Farm at West Prong Acres to be our wedding venue! It is absolutely beautiful, and Amy is amazing to work with. We didn’t have a wedding planner/coordinator and she stepped in and helped wherever she could. The venue had plenty of space to host our 100ish guest wedding and the airbnb was perfect for the bridal party to get ready in. We were able to be creative and have the wedding of our dreams, I wish I could add all of the photos but Zola won’t let me. The English Country Barn of the Carolinas had certainly looked beautiful online, but we immediately found that it was even more incredible in person. During our initial tour with Ian, we became completely enamored by the venue, amazed by the ceremony spaces, the reception and cocktail hour areas, the dressing rooms, and even the abundance of restrooms. We walked down the aisle in The Enchanted Wood and realized it was everything we had been hoping for. Meeting with Teresa, we gained advice, resources, and answers. During the planning process, we visited the venue 4 times and sent countless emails with consistently quick responses. I was surprised, relieved, and grateful that so many items were available for use with no extra charge (decor, signs, tablecloths, speakers, etc). Having venue access for the weekend was a game-changer for us as well, allowing us to set up all day on Friday, rehearse Friday evening, enjoy our Saturday wedding, and pack up to leave Sunday morning without stress or hassle. We even ordered some of Teresa’s homemade macarons and tiramisu shots for our wedding day, and they were absolutely delightful. It was ideal to work with the couple that owns the venue, and it was clear that Ian and Teresa are determined to constantly improve their venue for the benefit of their clients. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we cannot thank them enough for doing everything they could to make it that way. The English Country Barn is gorgeous, and the owners are superb. Don’t wait to schedule your tour or book your wedding because the ECB is a gem, and you will not want to miss out on your dream wedding.

The venue owner is the most genuine and caring person on this earth. She was quick to answer messages with all of my questions and gave amazing advice. She communicated everything to us efficiently. The venue space is beautiful, spacious, and has a lot of depth and variety. They made sure everything was just how i wanted it and helped put things together that i didnt know how to do. They also put in so much work and were present for the entire day helping and running around. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married because they made the experience magical and easy.

The Longhouse was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Anna, the coordinator, was incredibly responsive and helpful, even when we had questions late at night. For the price, the venue was above and beyond - the space was beautiful and the team went out of their way to make our day special. The coordinator lit all of our candles, which was such a nice touch, and anytime she heard us pondering what to do, she would jump in with great advice. The only downside was the time limit of 9 hours, but the team was so accommodating that I can't complain when the overall price was so reasonable. My dog was even able to join us, which made the day even more perfect. Overall, I had a really great experience at The Longhouse and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue with exceptional service.

The Farm at 95
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
Selma, NC
  • Up to 400 guests
  • Raw space

  • Starts at $3,000

The Farm at 95 offically opened it's doors in October of 2013 and to this day is one of the two largest venues in Johnston County (oh, our sister location is the other larges venue)! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 42, which we opened in March of 2018. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has simple improvements such as larger dressing suites, upgraded finishes and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Raw space for complete customization
  • Has a relaxed and casual vibe
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • Does not allow pets
  • Dance floor not included
The Farm at 95 was probably one of our favorite vendors at our wedding. Not only is the location beautiful but Rachel, the General Manager, went above and beyond for us. Our experience working with her was so easy and stress free. She was very helpful during our wedding and even caught a detail I missed and helped us fix it in the moment. Again the venue is beautiful but there also is so many great features you can utilize as well. The dressing rooms with the private bathrooms were perfect for us getting ready (1 bride, 5 maid of honors, 2 mothers and the makeup artist and hair stylist). I also loved how we had so much flexibility you have for where you do the ceremony. You have the option of the outdoor gazebo for your ceremony (which we ended up using) but you also could have your ceremony inside. Our reception was all done in the banquet hall/outdoor patio. We had a live band and the setup was perfect as there is a nice stage in the banquet hall. We had about 200 people and there was more than enough space. I also will mention the parking lot is more than big enough (parking is something I find very important). Overall we loved working with Rachel and truly had an unforgettable night. She did as much as she could to ensure we had a wonderful time. I don't know where else you could find such wonderful venue that is beautiful with a lot of great features and with someone who cares as much as Rachel!

We believe that celebrating life and hosting is one of the greatest joys imaginable. Our lives take us in so many different directions, that finding the time, much less the space to be together feels impossible. When events can be firmly put on the calendar, you have achieved an amazing feat. Gathering so many people with different lives and schedules for one night is a monumental task. We have an incredibly large family ourselves so every birthday and holiday feels like a massive event. Once you nail down the date, we want to be the space where you can host your loved ones. Where you can share food and drink, and create a memory that will stay with them for a lifetime. We would be honored if you could create those memories with us. We created this space with our family in mind and we hope we can share it with yours

I have photographed with Klarie on numerous occasions, including restaurant photos, family portraits, and photography of her own events. Every time, Klarie has been such a joy to work with and so easy to communicate with, so I have no doubt that clients will be in good hands planning their events here! As a wedding and event photographer, there are many things I look for in a venue which can set it apart as deserving of a recommendation. After touring Suenos, it's very clear that Klarie put a lot of thought and intention into every aspect of the venue's design. Having an outdoor space which is covered is a very smart thing with our NC weather, and having a barn-style indoor space with so many windows allows for beautiful ambient light even when indoors. The indoor bathrooms in the barn are some of the nicest venue bathrooms I've seen, and it's great to have outdoor bathrooms just a few steps away as well. Because the venue is so far off the road and set back against the treeline, the entire space feels very peaceful and secluded, while still being easily accessible. And I absolutely adore the cottage (and it's bathtub!) which would be perfect for getting ready photos. Klarie has an exceptional eye for decor and design, so I love that the spaces can be tailored to fit each of her events. Each of the venue spaces as well as the property itself feels spacious, offers a huge variety of photo backdrops perfect for any season, and has fantastic light both during the day and once the sun has set. I look forward to getting to photograph here!

Karen and Abigail were a pleasure to work with. The venue comes with tables and chairs and they make it super easy to rent signs/decor items from so you don’t need to worry about those small extra details. All around the entire place is gorgeous from the groom/bridal suite to the front entrance, reception and cocktail area, and the vineyard. The views were incredible and it was 100% worth it especially with how beautiful our pictures have turned out so far. I will say I felt they were a little busy as my wedding was Saturday and they also had weddings on Sunday and Friday. For this reason I felt a little rushed towards the end, but all in all I would have my wedding here 10 out of 10 times if I were to do it over again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the incredible people who run it! Fred and Mary Lou are truly the best—they make you feel like family from the very beginning. They are so welcoming, supportive, and genuinely care about making your day perfect. One of the things I appreciated most was how helpful they were throughout the entire process. They provide a list of trusted vendors, which made planning so much easier and less stressful. On top of that, they offer a variety of decorations you can use at no extra cost—such a huge bonus! The little farmhouse on-site is absolutely perfect for getting ready the morning of your wedding. It was such a special space to spend time with my girls and soak in every moment. The venue itself is a beautifully renovated barn that creates the most magical atmosphere. Everything about the day felt so seamless and stress-free thanks to Fred and Mary Lou.
