    The 1932 Barn

    Right when we walked on the property, we knew we had found our venue. The 1932 Barn team got back to us quickly and kept everything fun while staying on top of all the details. The coordinator made our day flow seamlessly, and the staff kept the space clean and organized from start to finish. What really impressed us was how helpful everyone was in making the venue look absolutely beautiful and exactly how we wanted it. The authentic charm of the barn and their genuine care for our wedding made the whole experience feel special. We couldn't have asked for a better team to celebrate with us.

    Would recommend to all my favorite people

    I don’t even know where to start — The 1932 Barn was the very first venue we toured, and we instantly knew it was the one. I (the bride) do a lot of research, and no other venue even came close to comparing. Meeting Lori during our tour was the first sign that we were in incredible hands. If you want to meet someone who truly knows what she’s doing, go find Lori. She was confident in the best way possible, incredibly knowledgeable, and effortlessly answered all of my parents’ (slightly anxious!) questions, immediately putting us at ease. From that point on, every step of the process was easy and stress-free. Honestly, it felt like all we had to do was book with them, and they took care of the rest. If you want a venue that allows you to truly enjoy your wedding day instead of stressing through it, book The 1932 Barn. After booking, Michelle was always available and so thorough whenever we had questions, which made planning feel seamless. Hannah, our day-of coordinator, was absolutely perfect for us. Whether it was intentional matchmaking or the stars simply aligned, she matched our personalities and vision perfectly. She kept everything running smoothly and had our entire day under control while bringing such a fun, calm, and easygoing energy. The entire experience — the staff, the coordination, and the venue itself — was absolutely perfect. If we could do it 100 times over, we wouldn’t change a single thing. We are so grateful to The 1932 Barn team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.

    An Unforgettable Wedding Experience!

    My husband and I got married at the 1932 Barn three weeks ago, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We toured the venue in the fall and planned our entire wedding in less than four months—and the team made the whole process feel seamless. From our initial tour with Kristina, to planning with Michelle, our design appointment with Lori and Sarah, and our Day-Of Coordinator Madalyn (THEE BEST!), every single person was patient, attentive, and incredibly supportive. They answered every question and made sure every detail we wanted came to life. The rustic, warm atmosphere of the venue perfectly reflected who we are as a couple, and our guests felt it the moment they arrived. Most importantly, the team made sure we felt taken care of and able to fully enjoy our day. 100/10 — highly recommend!

    Highly recommend!

    The whole venue staff was absolutely AMAZING!!! We had Madalyn for our coordinator and she was phenomenal. I can’t speak highly enough of the job she did. The decor package is also a must, we didn’t have to lift a finger and they designed everything just how we wanted. They truly made our wedding day dreams come true!

    Perfect rustic wedding venue

    The 1932 Barn by The Yes was our first choice when searching for a rustic and affordable venue, and it delivered on everything we hoped for. Michelle and Hannah went above and beyond to make our daughter's wedding day special, handling every detail with care and professionalism. Their communication throughout the planning process was reliable and responsive, which made the whole experience so much less stressful. The barn itself is gorgeous—the rustic charm provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We also appreciated how they offered flexible packages that worked for our budget without cutting corners on quality. The deposit for a wedding is $1,500. It is due when you sign your contract and must be paid to secure your date!
Your final balance will be split into two payments - with 50% due 90 days prior to your event date and the other 50% due 30 days prior to your event date.
We currently use an online payment system and accept payment via debit card or bank transfer. We also accept credit cards upon request but this option incurs an additional 3.5% fee.

Yes, we allow you to bring in all of your own alcohol and even provide a bartender to serve your guests! If you do choose to serve hard liquor, in addition to an ABC Event Permit, there is an additional fee, which covers the cost of an additional bartender and added liability insurance.
Yes! We have plenty of on-site parking and our parking attendant will make sure all your guests are warmly welcomed!
Yes, our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
The Essentials Package offers full access to the venue including Ceremony, Cocktail & Reception sites for 12 hours and up to 150 Guests; Getting Ready Suites; Venue Setup & Clean Up of tables and chairs & Staff Support.
A traditional wedding and reception includes a 12 hour venue rental from 11am - 11pm
We are located just 19 miles from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. To find your way to the barn, you can search The 1932 Barn in Google Maps or use this address: 3900 Rocky River Road (East), Charlotte, NC
Yes, Event Insurance is required - however, we will cover the cost for you! We will purchase a policy on your behalf, however as the host you are still liable for any incidents that may occur. Please note that this insurance just provides coverage for the day of the event and will not cover you in case of inclement weather, cancellations, etc.
For a traditional wedding and reception, we can accommodate up to a total of 150 guests, including the bridal party and couple. Micro Weddings have a maximum of 50 guests, including the bridal party and couple.
Yes! We define Micro Weddings as celebrations with under 50 guests. Couples who choose this meaningful, intimate experience can select from any of our packages and enjoy a special Micro Wedding discount.
Yes! However, we highly recommend choosing a vendor from our preferred vendor list - this ensures that you are going to receive the best possible service and experience for your wedding.
