Hii!!! We are a husband + wife photography duo! We love creating raw, unscripted moments that feel like “you” and make you feel like a beautiful story is being told. Our entire goal is to bring your vision to life while also making your day relaxed and easy. If you’re into warm, glowy & authentic vibes... you’ve come to the right place!

We usually become good friends with our couples! We love to have a good time and we love to be helpers on the wedding day even outside of the photo aspect. We want our couples to feel comfortable with us and feel confident in who they chose to capture their day! The idea of marriage and creating something that will last generations is our WHY. We walk to bring YOUR love to life so how you felt on the day of you feel forever when you open up your gallery!

    From the moment we booked Light Rise Photo for our wedding, they were super quick to respond if we had any questions. I've only received the sneak peeks of our photos so far, but they are stunning! The photographers made the photography process feel intimate between my husband and I, which was so special on our big day. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos and relive all the little moments they captured so beautifully. Light Rise Photo truly went above and beyond to contribute to our special day in such a personalized way.

    When originally looking at photographers, we felt so overwhelmed. So MANY photographers, so many overexposed, overly white and light pictures we looked through. I posted on a NC brides FB group looking for someone and Devon & Johni commented. They were responsive, helpful, friendly. They truly knocked it out of the park. Right away we felt like old friends and EVERYONE at our wedding kept talking about how amazing, friendly, and fun they were, and that was before we even got the photos back. I'm so serious everyone was obsessed with the kind of people Devon and Johni are. We got our sneak peak back yesterday (which was still generously over 100 photos) and everyone is raving about how amazing the pictures are. They are worth every single penny and then some. They also do all their editing in house and don't contract out, so you know what their portfolio looks like, you'll get. A good photographer was so important to me, because these pictures will last for your lifetime and beyond, and they seriously have given us the most beautiful pictures that will be looked at for generations to come. Seriously, book with them!!!

    I loved working with this duo! They were fun, creative, kind, easy to talk with! Very respectful and their shots are beautiful. They make you feel comfortable taking photos, which I am not.
