Hi, I’m Carson, and I’m based in Columbia, SC! I have been photographing weddings and elopements for over seven years! I was born and raised in East Tennessee but have lived all over the country. While my primary focus is wedding photography, I am also a biologist, which brought me to this beautiful state. I love expressing my creative side through photography and witnessing the joy it brings to my clients. I specialize in a blend of editorial and documentary-style photography. I aim to capture natural moments as the day unfolds, but I’m also happy to give gentle guidance when needed.

My editing style is natural and timeless—full of life and color without being overly filtered. On your wedding day, I bring a calm, reassuring presence to help you feel at ease. I’ll gently guide you through poses while also capturing the authentic, candid moments that matter most. With backup gear and full insurance, you can relax knowing everything is covered. From our first conversation to final delivery, communication is clear, responsive, and stress-free.

Amazing experience
Carson Lillard Photography was an excellent choice for our wedding photography. Their communication was effective, as they planned ahead and worked seamlessly with our videographer. The quality of their work was outstanding - we're always finding a new favorite photo they captured. They even recreated a special photo of my mother from her own wedding, and helped us with creative poses throughout the day. The only thing I wish is that we had more photos of just my husband alone, but overall their service and the final photos exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this talented team!
