I'm Adam, a Columbia, South Carolina based photographer. I believe in capturing authentic, heartfelt moments—the kind of photos that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments. And in photos that are itching to be printed, places in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come!

I have been photographing weddings, elopements, couples, families and everything in between for a little over seven years and I know that it sounds super cliche, but I LOVE stories. I truly believe capturing the various seasons of life is my calling. I love showing the authentic side of people through my photos and giving people something tangible out of the most precious seasons in life.     Sinply Amazing!

    Silver and Chalk Images were a pleasure to work with for our wedding photography. Adam was great - before our shoot he called with a consultation to make sure we had everything set for our day.     Adam creates magic!

    BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!

    Adam captured our wedding and I’m sure everyone says this, but I really was blown away. He was so incredibly easy to work with. He managed to capture natural, authentic moments and images that just can’t be replicated. I knew from our first meeting with him that I wanted him to be our photographer because he was so easy to be around, and I just felt so comfortable. The first wedding I photographed was for friends in the fall of 2017 at Big Butte Mountain Retreat in Waynesville, NC. They needed someone to document their day, and I jumped at the chance to expand my photography beyond portraits and lifestyle work. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d love capturing the raw emotions—pure joy on the faces of family and friends, and the quiet, intimate moments between the couple. Since then, my passion for photography has grown into a full-time career. Now, spring, summer, and fall are spent traveling across South Carolina, neighboring states, and beyond, capturing love stories.
I offer photography services for elopements, couple portraits, engagement sessions, family, newborn, maternity, and more. All sessions are on-location of your choice, and my work is created by natural outdoor lighting rather than an indoor studio. Trust me, I totally get it—being in front of a camera can feel awkward! Chances are, you don’t have professional modeling experience, and guess what? You don’t need it to get amazing photos. I avoid the word “posing” because it often brings to mind those cringeworthy school pictures—chin resting on your hands, forced grin, maybe even a pink scrunchie involved. Instead, I’ll gently guide you into natural positions that feel comfortable and look great. The best photos come from real connections, so I encourage movement, laughter, dancing, twirls—whatever feels like you.
I would describe my photography style as raw, authentic, and candid, with a natural flow that allows you to fully enjoy your day. While I provide gentle guidance for portraits and group shots, my goal is to document real moments as they unfold—without making you feel like there’s always a camera in your face. Your wedding day should feel like an experience, not a photoshoot, and I strive to capture every emotion without disrupting the magic of the moment. When it comes to editing, I love rich, moody tones, earthy hues, and warm golden light that bring out the depth and emotion in every image.
