    This is a beautiful venue! My step son married the love of his life this weekend here and I am so happy this was the place they chose to have their special day to say “I do” !!!!Lots of room, friendly staff, pool, very nice outside set up!!! If you are looking for a venue please reach out to them it’s a 10 out of 10!!!

    Great venue...great accomadations...Great service...any questions we asked they answered...You need to book this Venue...very secluded...We are so grateful...My Grandsons wedding was even more awesome because of Scarborough House

    We hosted an amazing 3-day weekend family reunion here over Labor Day weekend. The reunion committee stayed on site which helped execute the multiple day event. The venue is beautiful abd spacious. We brought in a speakers and used a combination of live music and playlist. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space and would definitely come back.

It’s wonderful to hear that staying on-site helped your reunion committee bring the three-day celebration together, and that everyone enjoyed the space and music. Having family close by is one of our favorite parts of hosting reunions here. We’ve recently increased our on-site lodging capacity to accommodate up to 29 overnight guests, with 13 bedrooms plus an additional bonus sleeping space. That means more family can stay together on the property rather than heading to separate hotels after the celebration. Thank you for choosing Scarborough House for such a special gathering.     We stayed at Scarborough House through Harvest Hosts while traveling in our motorhome and absolutely loved this property! The owners were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Scarborough House would be an amazing wedding or even venue - a true one stop shop with onsite accommodations, multiple ceremony spaces, a beautiful pavilion, pool & pool house, and plenty of gorgeous acreage to enjoy. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, and such a special place for bringing people together and making memories!

It means a lot that you could picture families celebrating together across the ceremony spaces, pavilion, and pool area. We actually just had a RV guest stay with us as a part of a wedding. The brides best friend was a full time RV'er and she just drove to the wedding and stayed with her dog and RV on property. How many venues allow for that?! not many if any. That's what makes us unique. The groomsmen were out back Friday night skeet shooting, and then a few jumped in the pool. What an interesting weekend long wedding celebration. For guests planning a celebration with us, we now offer on-site lodging for up to 29 overnight guests, making it possible for more family and friends to stay together. We’d love to welcome you back on another adventure!

Yes, North Carolina law requires a permit to serve liquor. No permit is required if only beer and wine is served. You must hire a bartender what has the property licensing & insurance.
It is highly recommended, for your own peace of mind, that you purchase insurance. Event insurance like what Eventsured offered is inexpensive and can cover liability as well as cancellation/postponement situations. Insurance is meant to cover the unexpected issue with the hope that no issues occur.
The deposit to reserve the date is non-refundable. If you cancel with at least 30 days notice from your event, the remaining balance due will be cancelled. If you cancel your event within 30 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount as stated in the contract.

There is both grass and a concrete driveway as well as first floor access to bathrooms in the pool house, farmhouse and the stand-alone bathroom on the back side building on property. There are grab bars/rails inside the farmhouse master bath and stand-alone bathroom.
