Scarborough House Weekend Wedding Venue

Such a great venue, nice people, very helpful

We spent a peaceful quiet night at the Scarborough House while traveling from Florida to Connecticut with our custom built toy hauler. It is conveniently located just off the highway and the hosts were very accommodating, accepting our same day request within a few minutes through the Harvest Host APP. We would stay there again and recommend this beautiful property to anyone as an Airbnb or HH member.

I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding here this past weekend, the original plan was an outside ceremony and a covered reception… but Mother Nature had other plans. Switching from an outdoor ceremony to everything being in one space is usually a little chaotic, but this time that was not the case. Josh and Meika were SO helpful and so easy to work with. The amount of support they offer is insane. The accommodations they have are incredible and they are so laid back when it comes to changing direction or vision. Meika offered endless ideas and Josh was literally ON THE ROOF looking for potential spots that could have caused minor leaking inconveniences the day before. We’re talking roof repairs on a historic covered pavilion in between rain showers. The main house offers endless photography ideas for intimate romantic frames and each building was entirely unique. The ceremony was supposed to be under a beautiful flowering arch, but with the rain, that couldn’t happen, so Meika pulled out a secondary free standing arch and then asked what color drapes we’d like, and came out with armfuls of fabrics. The tables and chairs were in the reception area ready to go when we got there and had more chairs in stand by. The place is littered with outlets so moving things around had no limitations when electricity was involved. I would coordinate wedding after wedding here without any hesitation, pre planning or my usual drawn up maps in a heartbeat.

My husband and I got married at Scarborough house June 20, and had the best day! We found them on Facebook, had a great tour experience and great conversation with the owners, Josh and Meika! They worked with our finical budget allowing us to make payments over a course of time, they met with us serval times leading up to the big day and allowed us access to the property for our engagement shoot! They had open communication and provided us with resources and advice on all things wedding! They were a tremendous help for the entire wedding weekend, providing access for our wedding party to stay and get ready, helping set up, taking behind the scenes photos and videos, and encouraging every idea to make our wedding special. All my guests were OBSESSED with the venue and location of the area! Cannot recommend Scarborough House more!!!
