DJ Nate he assured us that he was planning to leave extra early to have plenty of time to arrive and get his equipment set up with a foot of snow already on the ground and he delivered and he did just that. He was already up and running to welcome us with cocktail hour music when we showed up 30 minutes early (we too left very early to get to the venue in the snow). He is a consummate professional who takes seriously that people spend a great deal of emotion, money, time, and logistical resources to make a wedding day happen, and that even unprecedented weather events cannot stop an event that has that much planning go into it. He has a calm about him that makes interacting pleasant and stress free. I felt confident he was going to take care of everything and he did just that. We gave him a vibe for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (as well as specific songs to play at specific moments and then a must-play playlist and “I really like this, please work it in if it feels right with the crowd playlist”) and he nailed everything. We had a multicultural wedding with a long list of songs from my husband’s culture (songs in a language which does not use the English alphabet) and DJ Nate was able to get every song we requested and played them all despite the fact that the titles and artists names may as well have been written in gibberish to him. The timing was great during the ceremony, speeches, etc. He completely respected that we did not want cheesy, intrusive MCing during our wedding. He played the role of man behind the curtain who kept us all on schedule and vibing and he played it perfectly. DJ Nate gets our highest gratitude and recommendation.”

They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor.
