On the technical side of things, she managed the audio equipment for the instrumentalists at our ceremony, configured the A/V system at our reception (separate location!), set up our photo booth, and worked a film camera (would you believe that she only has two arms?) all while keeping the party kept going! “Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. To say he was fantastic is a gross understatement for how truly spectacular he was from the ceremony to the reception. Our entire reception was on the dance floor for HOURS because he kept playing hit after hit after hit. One of my friends told me she had never seen such a wide span of generations on the dance floor at a wedding before, and she was 100% right. He was such a fantastic DJ it was hard to leave the dance floor, which is exactly what we wanted our reception to be. Marcus was also a complete professional. At one point, my husband and I realized we had fallen slightly behind schedule while trying to say hello to all our guests, which made me extremely stressed, but Marcus was immediately on top of it with suggestions for how to make sure we got back on track. We cannot recommend Event Solutions or Marcus enough. If you're looking to party, Marcus is the perfect DJ for the job.”

“Jay was our DJ (and friend) at our wedding at Renault Winery this past April. We cannot say enough good things about working with him! From the very beginning, he ensured us that he would make all of our wedding reception dreams come true and he DEFINITELY executed! He kept our dance floor full the entire night, he took care of displaying home videos on a projector during the daddy/daughter and mother/son dances, we booked a trio to play live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and all of this came out beautifully! We could not recommend Jay with his great energy and On The Beat FX more!!!!!”
