  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Monroe, WA

U&P Studio is a wedding photography duo based in Washington State. We specialize in capturing real emotions, natural moments, and timeless love stories in an honest, unobtrusive way. Our approach is calm and photojournalistic, with a touch of editorial style — allowing couples to fully enjoy their day while we document it as it naturally unfolds. We focus on genuine connection, meaningful details, and the moments you may not even realize are happening. We believe wedding photography should feel effortless and stress-free, resulting in images that bring you back to how your day truly felt, not just how it looked.

We had our wedding last September, and Viktoriia and Oleksander (u&p studio) were our photographers—they truly ended up being our favorite vendor from the entire experience. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsible, attentive, and professional, always prioritizing our preferences and making sure every detail aligned with our vision. We absolutely love how our photos turned out. The quality is exceptional, with a refined, artistic touch in both composition and editing. Their use of professional cameras and lenses captured stunning details and genuine moments that we will cherish forever. What stood out most was their flexibility and dedication—whenever we had specific requests or ideas, they were more than happy to accommodate and bring them to life seamlessly. They created such a comfortable and positive atmosphere, which made the entire photography experience feel natural and enjoyable. We also received so many compliments from our guests about them. Viktoriia and Oleksander are not only talented photographers but also warm, kind, and easy to work with. If you’re looking for a team that is creative, reliable, and truly invested in making your day special, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

I’m Luke, a Seattle wedding photographer with a simple mantra: Guest First. Photographer Second. On your wedding day, I’m part of the celebration, prioritizing your experience and capturing the moments that truly matter. We’ll make time for great portraits, but my main goal is to document your day as it unfolds—no endless posing or pulling you away from the fun. From the laughs and tears to the joy, heart, and love, I’ll capture it all to make your day unforgettable.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are forever grateful for Bear Beau Photography capturing not only our wedding day but our welcome party and engagement photos. Luke was so warm and welcoming and was definitely a favorite among our guests as well. He was never intrusive but always there to capture the moments. We booked him for our welcome party as well and we are so happy he was able to make it work. It's another part of the weekend we will get to cherish with professional photos now. One other thing we loved about Luke was his communication. He was always prompt and organized, whether talking with us or our wedding planner -- not something to overlook when you are dealing with so many vendors!

We believe that photographer first of all is an artist and not just the camera operator. The art is above all. And everytime we turn on the camera we create from scratch. Because people are not just freezed charachters before the "click" but personalities. So every photo would becomes not just a paused picture but your life moment. And that moment artist creates from scratch.

I am glad to leave my review about the company Photo Confetteria. The photographers of this company are creative and pay great attention to the details of the photo shoot. I really liked the result of the shoot and even surprised. I did not think that some shots would look so wonderful. Definitely my recommendations!

I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our experience with JL Thomas Photography was incredible. We are so grateful to have booked with Jen. She answered all of our questions and more. With the package we booked for our day, we did the pre wedding shoot, which we used for our save the date invites. Jen was very easy to work with, kind, fun, and non-judgmental. We were very inexperienced with posing as a couple, Jen was very helpful and guided us through the shoot. For the wedding day, she was on time and kept communication going with a zoom meeting a week or two before the wedding and throughout the wedding day. Everyone that met Jen at our wedding complimented, "man, your photographer is so nice!" and we agree! She gave us sneak peek photos of our day very quickly and already we were so impressed! When we got the full photo package, we were in awe! There are so many great moments documented with friends and family. Our couple shots were so well done, and we loved her editing style. I can't brag enough about how we loved our photographer and our photos.

Emma Wargo Photo Co.
Rating: 5.0 (18 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,900
  • Serves Monroe, WA

Hey there! I’m Emma. I’m a sassy, sarcastic redhead and also a complete sap. To keep it short, I value relationships and experiences above nothing else (although some would say I have a serious West Elm and pizza addiction as well). I love reminiscing and think some of the best nights involve sharing a bottle of wine with old friends and laughing about all of our past adventures (while planning new ones too!). When I think about it, I know I was meant to be a wedding photographer - because I admire your relationship, understand how important this journey to marriage is for you two and understand the importance of documenting it.

Emma and her team were so amazing! Working with Emma before the wedding was seamless; she created a timeline that really helped with planning. We had Kayla and Almida for our photographers the day of and they were truly fantastic. So easy to work with and the pictures are so beautiful. Highly recommend!

As your photographer, I bring a heartfelt and genuine perspective, ensuring that your wedding day is portrayed in a way that truly reflects you and preserves the memories you'll cherish forever.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are so happy we chose Lucia to capture our elopement. Lucia is professional, fast to respond to emails and texts, helpful with decisions, accommodating to any requests, concerns, and excited to give advice. Duncan and I really wanted our photographer to capture our true emotion and to get candids of us, and Lucia DID THAT! The day felt blissful and a key point for us was that we got to enjoy the day without it feeling solely like a photoshoot which I think speaks to Lucias talent and confidence in her craft. She was good at giving guiding advice for posing without us feeling posed. I put together a Pinterest board and shot list which she really did a great job pulling inspiration from. The photos are stunning and the exact style we envisioned. Also, our sneak peak was huge and she got them to us very fast. If you are torn between photographers or are just starting your research, you're in very safe hands to stop here. We hope to continue reaching out to Lucia in the future when we start a family.

GSquared Weddings Photography

Kate and Josh Gansneder are a husband and wife wedding photography team based in Snohomish, WA. Together they have documented 640+ weddings across Seattle and Snohomish County over 15 years. Couples consistently describe working with them as feeling like having a trusted friend there, not a vendor - someone who knew what they needed before they did, made them feel calm on a day that could have been overwhelming, and cared about the whole experience not just the photographs. Camera-shy couples forget the camera exists. Families get through formals fast so everyone can get to the party.

From our first conversation with Kate at GSquared Weddings Photography, we knew we'd made the right choice. She kept us in the loop with timely messages throughout our planning process and even sent helpful articles to guide us along the way. On our wedding day, Kate showed up prepared for anything—she had red wine wipes on hand, kept our timeline running smoothly, and navigated some tricky family moments with grace and humor. Her eye for candid, dynamic shots really shines in our photos, capturing the raw joy and emotion of the day without feeling posed. Kate anticipated our needs before we even realized we had them, which let us focus on enjoying every second. We can't recommend GSquared Weddings Photography enough.

Eliza Curl Films & Photography
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Monroe, WA

As an artist in the 21st century, I am overwhelmed by all that we cannot trust. The landscapes are edited, the portraits are airbrushed, and the legitimacy of what we see on social media is anyone's guess. That's why it is my passion and life pursuit to capture our most precious things in life - our loves, our families, our unrepeatable moments - in the most true-to-life and timeless way possible. I live for the unguarded moments that take our breath away. If you want to capture this time in your life in all its perfect authenticity, it's my job and my joy to capture the soul of these things for you to hold in time forever.

We couldn’t be happier that we chose Eliza as our photographer! From that unforgettable, rainy surprise sunrise engagement session at Rattlesnake Ledge to our wedding day on Orcas Island, she was ride-or-die and with us every step of the way. Eliza poured her heart and soul into capturing our journey, and it shows in every single photo. She has an incredible knack turning real moments into art, and we know we’ll cherish these photos forever. Beyond her talent, what really struck us was her warmth and dedication. Eliza made us feel so comfortable, even when we felt a bit awkward in front of the camera. She just knew how to bring out the best in us and keep things fun. We’re genuinely so grateful for everything she’s done for us, and we can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, communicates exceptionally well, reliably delivers, and goes above and beyond, Eliza’s the one. Thank you, Eliza, for being a part of our story!

Seattle Wedding Photographer + Planner ready to bring your dream wedding vision to life! Let me focus on all the details and capturing the sweet, intimate moments so you can enjoy your wedding day and be present!

Sarah is amazing! Not only is she professional and delivers high quality images, she is so easy going and makes the whole experience so much more relaxing. If I were to describe Sarah's personality while working in one word it would be "calm". She was literally the calm to the chaos on our wedding day. She went above and beyond by not only providing her photography skills but she makes sure you have everything you need and you're where you need to be. Although we hadn't met Sarah before our wedding day, I felt like after following each other on social media for a year prior, we felt like we knew her. That really takes a special type of vendor and It's so important to choose a vendor that excels in their work but also puts you at ease. We are you thankful for Sarah and we're happy that we have such beautiful images to look back on for the rest of our lives. She truly captured our love perfectly and I would recommend her to anyone needing a professional photographer.

Hi! I'm Dana Kae (she/her). The creator of the work you see here. With over 10 years of experience in photography, I specialize in boudoir, portraits, lifestyle, e-comm, and event photography and offer custom photography services to private clients and businesses both locally and worldwide.

I wanted something unconventional, and Dana Kae Photography verified and agreed to consider things to ensure the results were exactly what I wanted. She captured the beauty of our summer day, while also keeping the photos moody and romantic. Dana was so approachable from the start, and she was a pleasure to talk to throughout the process. I gave her a detailed schedule, knowing I hate sitting still for pictures, so we did 30 minutes of portraits with my partner and 30 minutes with family - the rest I wanted to be candid shots of our guests having fun. The final photos captured the day perfectly, and so many of our guests complimented Dana's work. She was even able to beautifully showcase all the effort we put into decorating our property for the wedding.

We are repeat customers of Alexandria's and have had the best experience with her every time! After working with her for our wedding and again for my SIL's wedding, we were eager to seek her out for our maternity photos! Alexandria is super enthusiastic but also very professional, which makes her amazing to work with and a reliable vendor you can count on for the most important events in your life. Her elopement-style photography brought a sense of adventure and serenity to our maternity shoot, which we are absolutely in love with. Her intake process is seamless - she was great at keeping reminders & key steps timed perfectly, and we enjoyed filling out her questionnaire that helped us feel really connected to the experience. I think one thing that really sets Alexandria apart is her expertise in the beautiful PNW scenery. She suggested several locations we absolutely loved which also fit our travel constraints, as well as my ability to move around & navigate terrain at 7 months pregnant! We were able to get a huge variety of scenery in one easy location, which was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend Alexandria to anyone going for a PNW nature vibe with photo needs!

Irene of IJ Photos is a highly-skilled and respected photographer, but also one of the kindest, most sincere people you will ever meet in your life. It is that focus on people and their relationships that allows her couples to just relax and enjoy themselves knowing that Irene has all the shots covered. And it's those relaxed moments where the authentic relationship of a couple can shine through. Knowing that you're going to get great photos is certainly reason enough to hire Irene. But a big bonus is that you have her by your side while you're planning your wedding. She will often meet with couples at their venue - even if she's been there many times - to show them different spots and talk about lighting and such. As a colleague in the wedding industry, I respect her so much that I hired her to take our family photos last year.
