Pacific Light Photography provided amazing communication throughout the entire planning process. They promptly responded to every email and we had personalized one-on-one meetings with the owner as well as our assigned photographer and videographer to ensure they fully captured our vision for the big day. I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience with JL Thomas Photography! From our first meeting to the final delivery of our photos, they were nothing short of exceptional. Their professionalism, creativity, and passion for photography truly shine through in every shot. On the big day, Jennifer was a calming presence, she captured every moment without being intrusive. She has an incredible talent but knowing how to make you feel comfortable, beautiful and not camera shy. I am obsessed with our photos and I am an awe, the attention to detail is evident; from the candid shots of our guests enjoying themselves to the stunning portraits of us as a couple. The way Jennifer captured the emotion and joy of our wedding day is something we will cherish forever. The turn around was just as promised, she delivered our photos about 7 weeks after our wedding and gave us a sneak peak a couple days after the wedding. If you’re looking for a talented photographer who will go above and beyond to make your wedding memories unforgettable this is it. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you for making our day even more magical!

Emma Wargo Photo Co.
Rating: 5.0 (17 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,900
  • Serves Monroe, WA

Hey there! I’m Emma. I’m a sassy, sarcastic redhead and also a complete sap. To keep it short, I value relationships and experiences above nothing else (although some would say I have a serious West Elm and pizza addiction as well). I love reminiscing and think some of the best nights involve sharing a bottle of wine with old friends and laughing about all of our past adventures (while planning new ones too!). When I think about it, I know I was meant to be a wedding photographer - because I admire your relationship, understand how important this journey to marriage is for you two and understand the importance of documenting it.

Emma and her team were so amazing! Working with Emma before the wedding was seamless; she created a timeline that really helped with planning. We had Kayla and Almida for our photographers the day of and they were truly fantastic. So easy to work with and the pictures are so beautiful. Highly recommend!

PNW Love Stories
Rating: 5.0 (17 reviews)
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $2,999
  • Serves Monroe, WA

Hi! My name is Valerie! I am a hopeless romantic who wants to be behind the lens of your love story. I fell in love with photography in my high school darkroom. I went on to major in media and communication at University of Washington with a focus on visual arts. I have always been a story teller, a big feeler and obsessed with all things love, so photographing weddings is quite literally living my dream. I have photographed over 130 weddings and have the same passion for them as when I first started. I cannot see myself doing anything else.

Awarded Best of Zola
️️️️️ Beyond Grateful for Valerie and PNW Love Stories! Working with Valerie and her team at PNW Love Stories was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she went above and beyond — not only as a photographer but as a true guide and friend throughout the entire process. Before the big day, Valerie was incredibly supportive. She helped us explore options when we weren’t sure if we wanted an elopement or a full wedding, offered advice, and even helped us find vendors that fit our vision. I was a very confused (and slightly crazy!) bride planning everything in just two months, and Valerie was there every step of the way — calm, kind, and so helpful in keeping me grounded and excited for what truly mattered. On our wedding day, she and her team were absolutely amazing. They captured every single moment — the big, emotional highlights and the little details that made our day uniquely ours. From the kiddos digging for worms and hanging on the fence during our first dance, to the happy tears during our ceremony, and the genuine smiles of all our loved ones — Valerie found beauty in every part of the day. The photos themselves are breathtaking. The quality is incredible, and she delivered them to us in time for our one-month anniversary, which made it even more special to relive every moment so soon. Each photo tells a story — warm, full of life, love, and laughter — exactly how our day felt. Valerie was so easy to communicate with before and after the wedding, always responsive and thoughtful. You can tell she truly cares about her couples and pours her heart into her work. We are endlessly grateful for Valerie and the PNW Love Stories team. If you’re looking for a photographer who not only delivers stunning photos but also genuinely supports you through every step of the journey — Valerie is the one.

Svanna Andrada Photography was absolutely on point in their communication and the quality of their work was amazing, beautiful, and outstanding. They were so amazing, making sure to keep us on track all day (even though that wasn't their job) and they went above and beyond getting pictures of everything and everyone we asked of. She even helped me take my shoes off when my feet were hurting too bad - they were hands down the best photographers we could have asked for. They were absolutely amazing, sweet, so professional, had amazing photo ideas, and got all of our photos to us plus more on time. They even sent us a beautiful momentous box with all of our pictures printed, a beautiful USB drive with all our photos, a discount on another shoot, and a few other things. I can't stress enough how grateful we are for them and how much they will completely blow you away. I can promise you won't regret hiring them for any of your photography needs.

As your photographer, I bring a heartfelt and genuine perspective, ensuring that your wedding day is portrayed in a way that truly reflects you and preserves the memories you'll cherish forever.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are so happy we chose Lucia to capture our elopement. Lucia is professional, fast to respond to emails and texts, helpful with decisions, accommodating to any requests, concerns, and excited to give advice. Duncan and I really wanted our photographer to capture our true emotion and to get candids of us, and Lucia DID THAT! The day felt blissful and a key point for us was that we got to enjoy the day without it feeling solely like a photoshoot which I think speaks to Lucias talent and confidence in her craft. She was good at giving guiding advice for posing without us feeling posed. I put together a Pinterest board and shot list which she really did a great job pulling inspiration from. The photos are stunning and the exact style we envisioned. Also, our sneak peak was huge and she got them to us very fast. If you are torn between photographers or are just starting your research, you're in very safe hands to stop here. We hope to continue reaching out to Lucia in the future when we start a family.

Ashlie has been so great to work with! She helped us with all of our questions and wishes. She rolled with all the bumps in the road and was very patient with us. She helped us come up with poses and made us feel very comfortable around her. She was quick at getting our photos back and they turned out better than we could’ve imagined. Erica Wall Photography
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Monroe, WA

Hey friend, I’m Erica! I am a documentary style destination wedding photographer, based in Seattle! My passion is capturing, true love through my lens. I’ve been professionally photographing weddings for over seven years, and I even grew up in the industry! My mom is a wedding coordinator, and growing up, I fell in love with all things weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved working with Erica from our engagement photos to our wedding! She captured our small, mountain elopement in such a magical way. When we look back at the photos, we remember how we felt in that moment because of how well she captured the environment and the details. This is especially impressive considering we got married at sunrise, outside, in the fog/rain on top of a mountain. Our day was very simple and yet it looks almost cinematic in our photos. She has a creative eye for what she does, but is still open to making any ideas you may have come to life. We very much appreciated her knowledge of how to pose us and our guests in photos, as well as her grounded and down-to-earth personality. A wedding photographer is one of the most important purchases you’ll make in your lifetime and I truly believe Erica is well worth the investment! We now have our love story captured in such a beautiful way that we will get to look back on for a lifetime. Thanks Erica!

Eliza Curl Films & Photography
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Monroe, WA

As an artist in the 21st century, I am overwhelmed by all that we cannot trust. The landscapes are edited, the portraits are airbrushed, and the legitimacy of what we see on social media is anyone's guess. That's why it is my passion and life pursuit to capture our most precious things in life - our loves, our families, our unrepeatable moments - in the most true-to-life and timeless way possible. I live for the unguarded moments that take our breath away. If you want to capture this time in your life in all its perfect authenticity, it's my job and my joy to capture the soul of these things for you to hold in time forever.

Eliza went above and beyond with our photos and wedding videos. We only had her for a few hours and she was able to capture a lot in a short amount of time. One of the things we liked most about her was the outpouring of positive energy. It made it easier for us to take pictures since we're camera shy. She was such a joy to have on our special day and could not have asked for a better photographer. If you want a photographer who is creative, patient, and detailed-oriented then look no further and hire Eliza!

Please reach out on my website if you are interested, I do not respond to inquiries on here :') All my photography collections include 35mm film, 120 film, digital photography. I also offer Super 8 as an add on.

I’m so glad that we found Elita! She did such a stunning job with our engagement and wedding photos and she was so accommodating with our tight timeline! From the very beginning she provided great ideas to help plan our big day and she was super flexible when weather wasn’t ideal for our engagement photos. She was very communicative and easy to get ahold of too. She made our engagement photo session so much fun so that we got beautiful photos and a great memory all in one! She provided so many sneak peaks that were ready the morning after our engagement photo session and the morning after our wedding so that when we woke up we got to see some of the results right away! Elita did such an amazing job capturing exactly how we were feeling in all of the photos she took. So many guests at our wedding mentioned how sweet she was and how much they liked her too! Generally I feel really awkward in front of a camera but Elita did a great job putting us at ease and giving us prompts that were fun and didn’t feel forced. The photos turned out so dreamy I can hardly even believe they’re ours. She captured all the feelings so perfectly, plus moments and details that I didn’t even realize she caught! It has been so fun going through all of our photos and remembering every bit of our wedding day. She’s seriously so amazing and I’m so happy that we have these beautiful photos to look back on. We can’t wait to work with Elita again because she is so good at what she does and she’s been a pleasure!

She was responsive when we had questions and helped to guide us on how to pose, where to look, gave us prompts, etc so everything looked and felt simply natural and was fun and not forced. All of our guests have raved at how much fun she was, how comfortable she made them feel taking pictures, and ultimately how amazing our photos turned out. Irene of IJ Photos is a highly-skilled and respected photographer, but also one of the kindest, most sincere people you will ever meet in your life. It is that focus on people and their relationships that allows her couples to just relax and enjoy themselves knowing that Irene has all the shots covered. And it's those relaxed moments where the authentic relationship of a couple can shine through. Knowing that you're going to get great photos is certainly reason enough to hire Irene. But a big bonus is that you have her by your side while you're planning your wedding. She will often meet with couples at their venue - even if she's been there many times - to show them different spots and talk about lighting and such. As a colleague in the wedding industry, I respect her so much that I hired her to take our family photos last year.

We believe that photographer first of all is an artist and not just the camera operator. The art is above all. And everytime we turn on the camera we create from scratch. Because people are not just freezed charachters before the "click" but personalities. So every photo would becomes not just a paused picture but your life moment. And that moment artist creates from scratch.

Myron was absolutely incredible to work with for both our engagement photos and wedding day. His communication was very clear and pleasant throughout the entire process. The quality of his work was truly above and beyond - he captured all the special moments beautifully. During our engagement photoshoot, Myron even hid in the bushes to capture the perfect candid shot. On our wedding day, he was incredibly thoughtful and flexible, working seamlessly around our schedule. Myron is the photographer to hire if you want both stunning photos and a low-stress experience. We are thrilled with how our photos turned out and couldn't recommend anyone else for the job. Myron, thank you!
