    Best we could've wished for

    From start to finish, Chad Wu was responsive and clear about everything we needed for our wedding day. He took time before the event to help us plan out our shot list and figure out the timing so we could capture everyone and everything that mattered to us. Because of his planning, we had extra time to sneak away to a second location and get some stunning photos we didn't think would be possible. On the day of the wedding, Chad captured all the moments and people we hoped for with breathtaking quality that shows his years of experience. What really impressed us was getting access to the full archive of our photos online—we didn't have to stress about picking just a few for prints. Chad's work is personal and majestic, and we're grateful to have found a photographer who cares so much about getting it right.

    Amazing and Friendly Photographer!

    Chad is a fantastic photographer and was super easy going and friendly throughout the whole process which made it a breeze! Everything turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with our pictures! I would absolutely recommend him to any friend or family member looking for a photographer for their special day!

Typically, couples book me about 6-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes I recommend adding a second photographer to your package, depending on the size of your wedding or if there is a specific time where coverage needs to occur in two different places at the same time. I prefer to work solo when possible.
Yes, I edit all photos in color and in black and white to be consistent with my style. Quick blemish removal is included upon request. Other modifications like teeth whitening, subject removal, or body modification are available for an additional charge per image.
No, however I can give you recommendations on videographers that I love working with. My recommendations work seamlessly with me from a positioning standpoint during your ceremony, giving direction to bride+groom while posing, lighting, and much more.
Typically I deliver full galleries in 2-4 weeks. I do not send early sneak peaks to ensure quick turnaround time for all of my clients.
You can expect about 75 to 90 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Yes, I am a fully insured and licensed business through Macomb County. Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
The amount depends on the package you book. The retainer payment is 50% of your total package cost. The remaining 50% balance is due 1 month before your wedding date.
