Hey, I’m Alex! The photographer behind Alexandria Lane Photography. I’ve spent over 17 years photographing weddings, couples, and all the wonderfully imperfect moments in between. I’m drawn to genuine connections, unconventional love stories, and couples who aren’t afraid to do things their own way. Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding in the mountains, a courthouse ceremony, or something a little less traditional, I’m here for it. My style blends documentary photography with gentle guidance, true-to-life colors, and a focus on capturing your day as it actually felt. No pressure to be anyone other than yourselves. If you’re a little nerdy, love the outdoors, or simply want photographs that feel like you, I’m your woman!

After 17 years behind the camera, I’ve learned that the best photographs aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. They’re often the moments you didn’t even realize were happening. I’m a quiet observer by nature, but I also know when to step in and offer direction. You don’t need to be comfortable in front of a camera or know what to do with your hands. I’ll help with that! I also intentionally limit the number of weddings I photograph each year. I’d rather give each couple my full attention than fill my calendar. Your wedding deserves that kind of care, and I want you to actually enjoy it while I document the memories.

Alex captured our day perfectly!
Alex has a warm personality that makes you feel comfortable when taking photos. She captured stunning images of our wedding day that will be beautiful memories. The candids really caught the key moments and people without being intrusive. Her direction for posed pictures was spot-on and I loved her creative style. She also was very accommodating when a communication issue arose. We absolutely made the best choice in a photographer.

Incredible wedding photography!
Alexandria Lane Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding. From our first conversation, Alex was friendly, clear and detailed in her communication, which immediately put us at ease. Alex is a kind and wonderful person to work with. I was SO nervous about getting our photos taken but our engagement photo shoot and our wedding pictures were nonstop laughs. Her communication leading up to our special day really helped us keep things on track and she was consistently early for every occasion. On the day of our wedding, she made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and we were able to truly enjoy ourselves. The photos she captured are absolutely beautiful - creative, artistic shots that perfectly reflect the joy and love of our special day. Alex has an incredible eye for detail and was able to beautifully document all the little moments that made our wedding so special. We are thrilled with the final photos and couldn't recommend Alexandria Lane Photography more highly.
