“Jeanyo Entertainment couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding! To start off the communication from the beginning of booking until the day of the wedding was responsive. Jeanyo was attentive our music taste and really wanted as much input from us as possible. We knew Jeanyo was going to take his duties seriously when he scheduled a zoom meeting between us and the wedding planner. He really used this time to pick our ear music wise, get our "Do Not Play List", and get our "Must Play List". The equipment the Jeanyo used was top notch. The audio was loud and clear for the outdoor ceremony. The timing of the songs that we selected to play for the bridal party, groom, and bride was seamless. We really appreciated the fact that he was able to incorporate specific audio files that we personally sent him. Where Jeanyo really shined was the reception!!! Since the music started and dinner was served, the dance floor was never empty the entire night. A lot of my guest came up to me saying "that was the most fun wedding I've ever been to!" We owe a big part these reactions to Jeanyo. Jeanyo not only perfectly incorporated our playlist into the reception, but his MC skills was on point. Hyping the crowd up, giving instructions on specific songs, announcements without interrupting the vibe were some of the MC skills he exhibited. Despite it being a reception he really gave it that high end club like feeling. The Mix of the music really united the diverse crowd, but really had people out of their seats when he tapped into the south Florida/Haitian Music. I still remember when Jeanyo got on the mic and said "Alright everybody we have 30 Minutes left". I genuinely couldn't believe how fast time was flying because we were having too much fun. We were recommended to Jeanyo by a friend of ours who had him for their wedding, and we are lucky to have gotten that recommendation. 5 out of 5 stars from the wife and I. We highly recommend Jeanyo for your wedding or any event the requires a DJ/MC.”

Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! Thank you to all of you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun!!”

Big weddings, small weddings, outdoor ceremonies in gracious gardens, intimate funky venues, you name it, I've done them all. But don't get me wrong, no matter how many weddings are in my future, never ever will it be a matter of being there, done that. No matter how many weddings I do, all my energy goes into each. For those precious few hours I am more than just a wedding dj in the Tri state area, I'm proud to say I am part of countless couple's lives.

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”
